1. General introduction

1.1 How to use this manual

1.3 Safety instructions and warnings
Before installing and commissioning the ILM.c, read the safetyinstructions, provisions and conditions carefully. This
paragraph contains a number of general safety instructions. The installation of the device and remedying of any
malfunctions should be performed by a certified electrical installer according to the applicable norms. The guarantee
does not apply if this product is installed in any other way than is indicated by Fancom.
Disconnect power before installation.
Prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) when working on the ILM.c. Ensure that the workplace is clean and
dry.
Use correct wires as shown in the connection diagrams.
Make all wiring connections and check them before applying power. Incorrect connections can cause
permanent damage.
Make sure that the ILM.c is well and properly grounded according to the guidelines.
Never place the ILM.c in a place where the weather has direct influence (not in the sun, not in places
where the temperature can rise sharply etc.).
Inspect the ILM.c periodically for any damages. Notify your installation technician immediately of any
damages. A damaged ILM.c is unsafe!
Do not use water or high pressure cleaners for lengthy periods.
It is advisable not to switch off the ILM.c. This could lead to condensation caused by cooling down.

2. Installing the ILM.c
Install the ILM.c and associated components as follows:
1. Mount the ILM.c (see page 3)
2. Connect the ILM.c (see page 3)
3. Test the ILM.c (see page 3)
2.1 Mounting the ILM.c
When mounting/installing the ILM.c, the following should be observed:
Never mount the ILM.c in a room where animals are present because of the (manual) control.
Place the ILM.c at such a height that the manual control can be used.
Mount the ILM.c on a flat surface.
Make sure that the gland nuts are at the bottom of the ILM.c.
Seal all gland nuts after connection of the ILM.c to prevent entry of dust, aggressive gases and/or
humidity

1. Algemene inleiding
Deze handleiding is met de grootst mogelijke zorg samengesteld. Mocht u onverhoopt tocheen fout ontdekken, dan
vragen wij u vriendelijk Fancom B.V. hiervan in kennis te stellen.
1.1 Hoe gebruikt u deze handleiding
In deze handleiding worden de volgende symbolen gebruikt:
Tips en suggesties.
Opmerking met aanbevelingen en aanvullende informatie.
Waarschuwing duidend op schade aan het product als u procedures niet zorgvuldig uitvoert.
Waarschuwing duidend op gevaar voor mens of dier.
Kans op gevaarlijke elektrische schokken. Gevaar voor mens of dier.
Voorbeeld van een concrete toepassing van de beschreven functionaliteit.
Voorbeeld van een berekening.

1.3 Veiligheidsinstructies en waarschuwingen
Lees de veiligheidsinstructies, bepalingen en voorwaarden aandachtig voordat u de ILM.c installeert en in gebruik
neemt. In deze paragraaf staan een aantal algemene veiligheidsinstructies. De installatie van het apparaat en het
verhelpen van eventuele storingen dient door een erkend installateur te worden uitgevoerd volgens de geldende
normen. De garantie is niet van toepassing als dit product op een andere wijze wordt geïnstalleerd dan door
Fancom is aangegeven.
Schakel vóór het installeren de stroom uit.
Voorkom elektrostatische ontlading (ESD) als u aan de ILM.c werkt. Zorg voor een schone en droge
werkplek.
Gebruik de juiste draden zoals getoond in de aansluitschema's.
Verbind alle draden en controleer de verbinding voordat u de stroom inschakelt. Onjuiste aansluitingen
kunnen blijvende schade veroorzaken.
Zorg ervoor dat de ILM.c volgens de voorschriften goed en degelijk geaard is.
Plaats de ILM.c altijd buiten directe weersinvloeden (dus niet in de zon, niet op plekken waar de
temperatuur sterk kan oplopen etc.).
Controleer de ILM.c van tijd tot tijd op eventuele beschadigingen. Meld eventuele beschadigingen direct
aan uw installateur. Een beschadigde ILM.c is onveilig!
Gebruik geen waterstraal of hogedrukreinigers gedurende langere tijd.
Het wordt aangeraden om de ILM.c niet uit te schakelen. Dit zou kunnen leiden tot condensvorming als
gevolg van afkoelen.

2. De ILM.c installeren
Installeer de ILM.c en de bijbehorende onderdelen als volgt:
1. Monteer de ILM.c (zie pagina 3).
2. Sluit de ILM.c aan (zie pagina 3).
3. Test de ILM.c (zie pagina 3).
2.1 De ILM.c monteren
Let bij het monteren/installeren van de ILM.c op het volgende:
Monteer de ILM.c vanwege de (hand)bediening nooit in een ruimte waar dieren aanwezig zijn.
Plaats de ILM.c op zo'n hoogte dat de handbediening kan worden gebruikt.
Monteer de ILM.c op een vlak oppervlak.
Zorg ervoor dat de wartels zich aan de onderkant van de ILM.c bevinden.
Dicht alle wartels na het aansluiten af om te voorkomen dat er stof, agressief gas en/of vocht in de ILM.c
binnendringt.
2.2 De ILM.c aansluiten
Sluit de ILM.c aan. Raadpleeg:
•Technische gegevens (zie pagina 4)
•Aansluitschema ILM.c1 (zie pagina 5)
•Aansluitschema ILM.c4 (zie pagina 6)
•Aansluitschema ILM.c6p (zie pagina 7)
2.3 De ILM.c testen
1. Controleer of de ILM.c correct is aangesloten.
2. Controleer of de ILM.c optimaal werkt.
