! Never use power tools unless specifically instructed. They can damage your components or
hardware if used incorrectly.
! The most common mistakes made during assembly are using the wrong hardware or getting
components back to front.
! Always use a soft surface (such as carpet or cardboard) when assembling your product to
avoid scratching or damaging the surface of the product.
! Bulky items such as wardrobes and bunk beds should be assembled in the room they will be
used as they may not fit through a door once assembled.
! Never use any glue until you are certain that the parts belong together.
! Periodically check and re-tighten all fasteners. Check the product care label or website for
product care instructions.
! If you are having any difficulties assembling your product, missing any hardware or

You will need
Fixing Kit: How to screw into a steel dowel?
Make sure the opening of steel dowels face the incoming bolts.
Screw one bolt into the dowel, keep it loose, then screw another bolt.
Screw both sides until tight.

To attach the rails (P1) and (P2) together, insert 2 x steel dowels (H1) into the rails (P1 & P2).
Ensure the steel dowels (H1) face the incoming bolts.
Insert the 4 x short bolts (H2), the 4 x spring washers (H14) and 4 x flat washers (H10), then
tighten with the allen key as shown.
Repeat for the other set of panels (P1) & (P2).

Step 2
Insert 4 x wooden dowels (H6) into the side posts (P3 & P4) by hand or using a soft head mallet.
Screw in 2 x locking pins (H7) into the side posts (P3 & P4) by rotating clockwise.
Align the holes of the rail (P5) to the dowels (H6) and locking pins (H7) in the legs (P3 & P4).
Attach the rail (P5) to the side posts (P3 & P4) by putting 2 x halfmoon nuts (H11) and
2 x hex nuts (H12) onto the 2 x locking pins (H7) as shown.
Tighten the 2 x hex nuts (H12) with a spanner (H8).

incoming bolts (H2).
Insert the short bolts (H2), the spring washers (H14) and the flat washers (H10), and tighten
with the allen key (H9) as shown.
Repeat for the other set of panels (P1 & P2) and (P3, P4 & P5).

Align a top side rail (P7) to each of the dowels at the top of side posts (P3 &P4).
As you align each top side rail, you may need to gently bow the frame slightly at the top to attach
the rails to the dowels.
To ensure each rail stays in place while you do this, insert 4 x barrel nuts (H5) into the top
side rails (P7). Ensure the openings of the barrel nuts face the incoming bolts. Then loosely secure
the top side rails in place with 2 x long bolts (H4), 2 x flat washers (H10) and 2 x spring washers
(H14) with the allen key (H9) before moving to attach to the other top side rail (P7).

Align the top rail (P8) to the dowels on both panels (P1).
As you align the top rail, you may need to gently bow the frame slightly at the top to attach
the rail to the dowels. Push the frame together so the dowels and top rails are connected.
To ensure the rail stays in place while you do this, insert 2 x barrel nuts (H5) into the top rail
(P8). Ensure the openings of the barrel nuts face the incoming bolts. Then loosely secure
the top rail in place with 2 x long bolts (H4), 2 x flat washers (H10) and 2 x spring
washers (H14) with the allen key (H9).

Place end slat of (P9) elastic side down on the side rail ledge, between the wooden blocks and end
panel (P5).
Lay out slats along the bed.
Stretch the slats and place the other end slat between the other wooden blocks and the other
end panel (P5)
Fix the slats to the support rails with 8 x screws and a phillips head screw driver as shown.
