Always follow the following safety instructions when using this device:
When the device is used in the vehicle interior, connect it to the cigarette lighter socket only using
the specific cable supplied.
When the device is used in vehicle interior, the vehicle's ignition must necessarily be turned off
and the car must not be in motion.
The device can also be used with a 220-240 Vac mains voltage: connect it using the specific
cable supplied only to electrical systems that comply with current standards.
Never subject the device to impact.
The place where the device is used, must be empty of people and animals.
Never unplug the power cable when the device is operating.
Never use the device in a potentially explosive environment and / or in environments where
explosive and / or flammable substances are present.
Always keep the device in good condition.
Never use the device with the damaged power cable and / or damaged plug.
Do not use the device in places with high humidity or near water.
Avoid exposing the device to direct sunlight or heat sources.
Never open the device. If maintenance is required, contact Fasangas Srl or the authorized
distributor.
If the device works abnormally, turn it off and disconnect it from the power supply. Contact the
manufacturer Fasangas srl.
Replace the filters at least once a year. Failure to replace it may cause the device to malfunction
and break.
Clean the device only with a soft, dry cloth and avoid touching the ozone sensor. Always unplug
the power cable first.
Never obstruct the ventilation fans and the ozone / air outlet nozzle.
Never use the device outdoors. Use it only indoors.
This device must be used only by people who are properly trained on the use of the device and
the dangers involved.

Never breathe near the ozone outlet nozzles.
Never use the device without the filter kit. The filter kit also acts as a protection grid from the
ventilation fans.

Generality
Ozone is a molecule made up of three oxygen atoms (its molecular formula is O3).
It has a characteristic pungent odor (the same that sometimes accompanies thunderstorms due to the
ozone produced by electrical discharges of lightning). Its name derives from the Greek "ozein" which
means "smell".
It has a light blue color and is a much more energetic oxidant than oxygen. It is an essential gas for life
on Earth: in nature, ozone exists in the upper layers of the atmosphere and is particularly important
because it absorbs ultraviolet light (highly energetic and harmful) acting as a screen to prevent these
radiation from reaching the earth's surface.
It is able to react with organic substances with double bonds: this characteristic is used in many water
and air treatment processes. Its bactericidal, fungicidal and inactivating effect of viruses has long been
known.
In Italy, in July 1996 with protocol no. 24482, the Ministry of Health recognized ozone as a "NATURAL
PRESIDIUM FOR STERILIZATION OF ENVIRONMENTS".
Ozone is an unstable gas and spontaneously decays to oxygen. The time required for ozone decay,
depending on temperature, humidity and chemical and biological contamination, and always depends on
the concentrations of use.
Effects on humans
Ozone is an irritating gas for the respiratory tract. It is possible to detect its acrid odor already at a
concentration between 0.008 ppm and 0.02 ppm. The smell however is not a reliable index of the
concentration of ozone in the air due to habituation phenomena. Therefore, operators who frequently use
air ozonators must have appropriate detectors.
At concentrations of 0.1 ppm in the air, ozone acts on the mucous membrane, causing irritation of the
nose, throat, eyes and dry cough. The most sensitive people (elderly, asthmatic subjects, etc.) can be
subject to asthma attacks even at low ozone concentrations.
At concentrations of 1 ppm headache, chest pain and severe trachea irritation occur.
High concentrations of ozone can cause coma and death.

This device has been designed to sanitize through ozone produced by the oxygen (O2) present in the air,
small rooms, vehicle interior, ... with a maximum volume of 100 m3

DESCRIPTION

3. It is recommended to position the device at a corner of the room to be sanitized around
1 m / 1.5 m from the ground (preferably at half the height of the room) by orienting the
ozone flow outlet nozzle on the device towards the corner diagonally opposite and away
from any object that could hinder the ozone flow outlet.
4. Never obstruct the fans or the ozone outlet nozzles.
USE IN THE VEHICLE INTERIOR
Position the ozonator on one of the seats of the vehicle, taking care to not obstruct the fans and
the ozone outlet nozzles.
STARTING AND OPERATION OF THE DEVICE

4. Keep the vehicle's ignition off.
5. The vehicle must not be in motion while using the device.
6. Connect the device to the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket using the cable supplied.
IN THE ROOM
1. Connect the device to the 220 Vac socket using the supplied power cable.
STARTING
6. Press the I / O power button to position it on I. Three short consecutive audible alerts will sound
and the power button will light up red.
7. Wait for 90 seconds until you hear a long beep indicating that the ozone saturation sensor is
ready to work.
8. Select the work program according to the volume of the environment to be treated using the
programming keyboard located on the top panel of the device.

NOTE: to stop the device at any time, press KEY 4. o be used in the event of a fault or if the wrong
program is incorrectly selected.
9. Once the desired program has been selected, the device will start to emit an audible warning
that will last for the whole operating time and will start the first phase of work, ie "ozone
generation". Leave the place immediately. The device will work automatically without the need
for any operator intervention.
ATTENTION:
there must be NO people or animals in the place subjected to ozonation.

10. The place can be occupied again once the ozonator finishes all the work phases. It will be
possible to notice this as it will no longer emit the sound signal, the LEDs inside will turn off and
you will no longer see their light coming out from the front panel. Furthermore, for the versions
with printer, the device will automatically issue the receipt in which the total time and the
maximum concentration peak reached in the ozonation phase will be reported.
WORKING METHOD OF THE DEVICE
The device is fully automatic and works in three consecutive phases:
1) OZONIZATION PHASE
The air present in the environment is passed through two electrically powered ceramic plates generating
the ozone molecules (O3) thanks to the action of the electric discharges on the oxygen molecules (O2)
present in the air.
The ozone generation stops or the plates turn off automatically when the saturation sensor detects an
average ozone concentration of 1 ppm.
ATTENTION:
IN THE ENVIRONMENT, THE CONCENTRATION OF OZONE ABOVE 1 PPM IS
DANGEROUS. PAY ATTENTION TO PERSONS AFFECTED BY ASTHMA, PULMONARY
DISEASES AND CHILDREN.
NOTE: to stop the ozone generation at any time press the KEY 4 on the programming keyboard
The ozonation times are indicatively the following:
FG 700/OZ53.5 and FG 702/O3.5 models
Up to 10 m3: maximum time about 2 minutes
Up to 25 m3: maximum time about 5 minutes
Up to 50 m3: maximum time about 10 minutes
NOTE: the ozonation times shown are indicative and refer to place with a temperature of about 20°C and
relative humidity of about 50%. The concentration of ozone molecules in the place depends on many factors
such as humidity and temperature as well as on the quantity of objects and furnishings present in the place
to be treated (empty place requires shorter ozonation times than place the same size as for example
curtains, fabrics, etc. which immediately absorb a large part of the generated ozone molecules)
2) IGENIZATION PHASE
Once the generation plates have been turned off, the ozone molecules produced are left to act for 20
minutes. The ozone sensor remains active to verify that the average ozone concentration does not drop
below 1 ppm. When the sensor detects a concentration below 1 ppm, the device automatically reactivates
the ozone generation plates until the sensor detects a concentration equal to 1 ppm again. In this way, a
sanitation with an average of 1 ppm is ensured for the duration of the 20 minutes.
3) OZONE CATALIZATION PHASE
After 20 minutes of sanitization, the device starts the last phase in which the ozone that is dispersed in the
air is converted back to oxygen. The fans activate and suck the air present in the environment by passing
it through special particulate filters for further purification and subsequently, through a particular filter based
on activated carbon which has the function of converting the ozone into oxygen. This process lasts until the
ozone sensor detects an ozone concentration of 0.1 ppm such as to allow the operator, once the device
has automatically turned off, to enter the room and ventilate it for a few minutes in so as to further reduce
the amount of residual ozone.

The catalization times are indicatively the following:
FG 700/OZ53.5 and FG 702/O3.5 models
Up to 10 m3: maximum time about 12 minutes
fino a 25 m3: maximum time about 32 minutes
Fino a 50 m3: maximum time about 1 h and 4 minutes
NOTE: the catalization times shown are indicative and refer to environments with a temperature of about
21°C and relative humidity of about 50%. They can undergo significant variations depending on the
temperature and humidity present in the environment to be sanitized.
During all its operation, the device emits a sound signal that lasts until the ozonator finishes the catalization
phase.
Once the work phases are finished, the device switches off. Position the I / O key on O and disconnect the
device from the 220Vac network or from the cigarette lighter socket.
The FG 702 / OZ3.5 model is equipped with a thermal printer useful for demonstrating to its customers
the correct ozonation of the environment.
A copy of the receipt is automatically issued by the device at the end of the job.
If you need a second copy of the receipt, simultaneously press keys 1 & 4 on the programming headboard.
The receipt will show the duration of the entire process, the maximum concentration of ozone produced
by the device, the process execution date and the process end time.
If it is necessary to change the time of the printer, simultaneously press keys 1 & 2 on the programming
keyboard to increase 1 hour or keys 1 & 3 to decrease 1 hour.
If zeros appear on the receipt at the date and time, contact your authorized dealer.
Below is a description of the printer components:
When the paper inside the printer runs out, the LED located at the top right of the printer will begin to flash.
To replace the thermal paper roll, use handle 3 to open the roll seat cover:
Insert the new roll of thermal paper, close the cover. To print the last receipt, simultaneously press keys 1
& 4 of the programming keyboard.

To clean the device, use a soft, dry cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or water. Pay attention to
the ozone sensor on the top of the device.
It is recommended to replace the filter kit once a year (if the device is used very frequently, it may be
necessary to replace the filter kit before a year).
Never open the device. In the event of abnormal operation, immediately contact the authorized dealer or
the manufacturer Fasangas S.r.l.
This equipment falls within the equipment range of Directive 2012/19 /EU. The crossed-
out waste bin symbol on the product and / or on its packaging means that at the end of
its life, the product must be treated separately from household waste and therefore must
be sent to the appropriate disposal and recycling centers. This is the responsibility of
the
user. The disposal of the product at the special dedicated structures helps to avoid
possible negative effects on the environment and favors the reuse of renewable
resources.

This device is guaranteed free of manufacturing and material defects, for normal service use, for a period
of one year from the date of purchase of the tool.
If in this period defects attributable to the manufacturer are found on the tool, the company Fasangas S.r.l.
will act, at its discretion, by repairing the tool or replacing it with another of the same value and
characteristics without any expense for the buyer.
The warranty does not cover consumables and / or components subject to particular wear such as filters,
fuses, etc ... and faults caused by inappropriate or incorrect use of the device or in any case not in
compliance with what is detailed in this manual.
The warranty right expires if the instrument has been tampered with by personnel not authorized by
Fasangas S.r.l.
Products without warranty rights will be repaired at the customer's expense.
