1. Lay the tabletop face down on some padding or protective material.
2. Assemble the leg components and spreader bar by matching the small numbered stickered
joints (E.g. A1 to A1, A2 to A2, etc.). Use 4 of the 48mm bolts to secure the spreader bar in
place and tighten using an allen key.
3. Insert the assembled leg structure into the tabletop matching any small numbered stickered
joints again. The tenon joint from the top of the legs goes inside the mortice joint in the
tabletop so that the 3 holes are aligned for the bolts to go through. Use 4 of the 48mm bolts
to secure the legs in place to the tabletop and tighten using an allen key.
4. Turn the table over and tighten any loose bolts. Do not overtighten.
5. If required, you can use the screws to tighten the leg structure. Insert the screws into the
predrilled holes in the leg braces between the legs and screw into the tabletop (Pictures C).
It is recommended that light pressure is applied in the direction of the arrows in ‘picture C’
to ensure a tight contact when screwing in. Screw in one side first, followed by the next.
6. Put the metal parasol ring and cover to one side as this will need to be inserted when the
extension leaf is opened and removed again before closing in order to avoid damage to the
table.
