Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van uw FireSales Smoky Multi Socket!
De Smoky Multi Socket is een eectapparaat dat storing in een stekkerverdeeldoos simuleert. Het
apparaat is gemaakt voor opleidingsdoeleinden en dient dan ook als zodanig te worden gebruikt.
FireSales is een merk van FireWare bv.
Voor de ingebruikname dient u deze handleiding grondig door te nemen,
zodat u geheel op de hoogte bent van het gebruik, de werking en de
kenmerken van de FireSales Smoky Multi Socket.
Volg bij het gebruik nauwkeurig de instructies en richtlijnen, zoals omschreven zijn in deze
handleiding. Wijzig nooit de volgorde van de te verrichten handelingen. Indien één of ander
niet duidelijk is omtrent het gebruik, neem dan contact op met FireWare.
Het apparaat dient enkel gebruikt te worden door volwassen personen die op de hoogte zijn
van hetgeen in deze gebruikershandleiding staat. De Smoky Multi Socket mag alleen door
deskundigen in een professionele oefensituatie worden toegepast.
LET OP: Dit apparaat NOOIT gebruiken in aanwezigheid van kinderen en dieren.
Het is een oefenapparaat. Gebruik dit apparaat alleen waar het voor bedoeld is.
LET OP: koppel NOOIT andere stekkers aan het snoer van de Smoky Multi Socket.
Dit elektrische apparaat is bestemd voor toepassing BINNENHUIS.
Gebruik het apparaat ALLEEN in stopcontacten voorzien van een randaarde.
De rookeenheid werkt op 16 V, hierdoor is speciale rookvloeistof noodzakelijk.
De locatie van het apparaat moet:
• droog zijn.
• vrij van stof en vervuilde luchtdeeltjes zijn.
• goed geventileerd met rookvrije lucht zijn.
• tussen de 5 °C en 45 °C zijn.
• een luchtvochtigheid van minder dan 80% hebben.
• vrij van trillingen zijn.
• goed verlicht zijn.
• een niet ontvlambaar oppervlak zijn.
• vrij van explosieve gassen zijn.

Plaats het apparaat stabiel op een vlak oppervlak en zorg dat het apparaat niet kan
omvallen.
Plaats het apparaat altijd op een goed bereikbare plaats, zodat bij de oefening het apparaat
‘snel en gemakkelijk’ uitgeschakeld kan worden, zonder het risico te lopen dat het apparaat
omvalt.
Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat en de snoeren op een veilige locatie geplaatst worden, zodat
er geen personen over kunnen uitglijden, struikelen of vallen. Tape de snoeren zo nodig
vast aan de vloer. Er zit vloeistof in de rookeenheid, wanneer het apparaat omvalt kan er
KORTSLUITING ontstaan!
De metalen naald in het midden van de rookeenheid is kwetsbaar. Indien deze stuk gaat,
zal het apparaat onherstelbaar beschadigd zijn.
Haal voor uw eigen veiligheid de spanning van het apparaat, voordat u de rookvloeistof
bijvult.
Zorg dat de rookeenheid NOOIT met andere vloeistoen gevuld wordt dan is voorgeschre-
ven. Dit kan het apparaat onherstelbaar beschadigen.
Zorg ervoor dat u de vloeistofdamp niet inademt, dit is schadelijk voor de gezondheid.
Let op dat u geen rookvloeistof aanbrengt in de gaten van de contacten.
Dit kan KORTSLUITING veroorzaken.
Drink NOOIT de rookvloeistof. Houd deze buiten bereik van kinderen. In geval van aanrak-
ing met de ogen direct spoelen met veel water en contact opnemen met een arts. Wanneer
er toch rookvloeistof is gedronken, neem dan contact op met een arts. Laat uw arts de
verpakking van de rookvloeistof zien.
Om nog beter te kunnen doseren verdient het aanbeveling eerst de lucht uit de injectiespuit
te verwijderen door de naald naar boven te richten en voorzichtig te drukken totdat alle
lucht verdwenen is.
Als de vloeistof in de rookeenheid is geplaatst, dient het esje rookvloeistof direct te
worden afgesloten. Zorg dat het esje met de kinderveilige sluiting goed is afgesloten.
Berg het buiten bereik van kinderen op.
Als er zich nog vloeistof in de injectienaald bevindt, na het vullen van de rookeenheid,
plaats deze dan weer terug in het esje. Leeg de injectienaald altijd na gebruik!

Mocht er onverhoopt teveel rookvloeistof in de rookeenheid terechtkomen, veeg dan
vloeistof op de behuizing met een droge doek weg. Als de metalen naald volloopt met rookv-
loeistof duurt het langer voordat het apparaat rook geeft. U kunt er wat vloeistof uithalen, of
wachten tot er voldoende verdampt is.
Raak tijdens en na gebruik de rookeenheid NIET aan. Deze wordt HEET.
Plaats NOOIT voorwerpen (doeken e.d.) over de rookeenheid heen als deze in gebruik is, de
rookeenheid is heet en kan schoeiplekken en brand veroorzaken.
Berg het apparaat pas op in de verpakking als alle vloeistof uit de rookeenheid is gehaald en
de rookeenheid voldoende afgekoeld is.
Plaats eventueel gebruikte doekjes met rookvloeistof in een daarvoor bestemde afvalbak.
Als het apparaat beschadigd is moet u het apparaat niet gebruiken.
Maak het apparaat NOOIT open. Dit kan elektrische schokken geven en hiermee vervalt
iedere vorm van garantie.
Wanneer service of reparatie noodzakelijk is, mag dit product UITSLUITEND door een
technicus van FireWare geopend worden; dit om de kans op het krijgen van een elektrische
schok te voorkomen. Als er een probleem optreedt, koppel het product dan los van het
lichtnet en neem contact op met FireWare.
De fabrikant aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor schade of letsel veroorzaakt door
het niet (strikt) naleven van de veiligheidsvoorschriften en -instructies in deze handleiding,
danwel door onachtzaamheid tijdens gebruik van het in dit document vermelde product en de
eventueel bijbehorende accessoires.

5. Uitschakelen
Als het apparaat in gebruik is, kunt u te allen tijde de rookproductie stilzetten door de schakelaar op
de draadafstandsbediening uit te zetten. De LED gaat dan uit. Er zit enkele seconden vertragingstijd
tussen het uitschakelen van het apparaat en het daadwerkelijk stoppen met roken.
Het apparaat blijft roken zolang er rookvloeistof in het reservoir aanwezig is. Voor behoud van de lev-
ensduur is hetraadzaam de Smoky Multi Socket zo snel mogelijk uit te schakelen als de vloeistof op is.
Haal na gebruiker de stekker uit het stopcontact en berg het apparaat op zoals in paragraaf 2
beschreven.
1. Gebruik de injectiespuit om de FireSales Smoky Multi Socket met rookvloeistof te vullen.
a Verwijder het beschermkapje van de injectiespuit.
b Vul de spuit met maximaal 0,8 ml van de speciale
rookvloeistof van FireSales of FireSales Cirrus
Fluid. Het gebruik van andere soorten
rookvloeistof is niet toegestaan!
c Vul de ruimte langs het verwarmingselement (c)
met rookvloeistof.
De vloeistof om de metalen naald (d) heen
aanbrengen, waarbij de bovenzijde van de naald
vrij blijft !
Let op! Vul niet helemaal tot bovenaan, anders
wordt er geen rook geproduceerd!
d Indien er rookvloeistof over is in de injectiespuit,
spuit deze dan terug in het esje.
5. Steek de stekker van de FireSales Smoky Multi Socket in een 230 V DC stopcontact
Gebruik het apparaat ALLEEN in stopcontacten voorzien van een randaarde !
5. Druk op de schakelaar op de afstandsbediening om de rook productie te starten.
6. De FireSales Smoky Multi Socket heeft ~ 3-5 sec nodig om op te warmen. Vervolgens
begint er rook te kringelen en is een zacht knetterend geluid te horen.
7. Om het roken te stoppen drukt u nogmaals op de schakelaar van de afstandsbediening.
Door de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen stopt deze ook.
8. Haal na gebruiker de stekker uit het stopcontact en berg de FireSales Smoky Multi Socket
op zoals in paragraaf 2 beschreven.

Om de prestaties van de FireSales Smoky Multi Socket optimaal te houden, dient hij goed onderhouden
te worden.
1. Aanbevolen wordt de rookvloeistof na gebruik uit de rookeenheid te verwijderen. U kunt dit
doen door een doekje tegen de vulopening aan te houden en hier de vloeistof op te laten
druppen door het stekkerdoosje scheef of ondersteboven te houden.
2. Mocht u de Smoky Multi Socket op een vaste locatie laten staan, zorg dan dat de stekker uit
het stopcontact verwijderd wordt.
3. Als het apparaat langer dan twee dagen niet gebruikt wordt, verdient het aanbeveling de
resterende rookvloeistof te verwijderen.
7. Nazorg
Elektrische apparaten, accessoires en verpakkingen dienen apart te worden ingezameld, gerecycled of
op een voor het milieu verantwoorde manier te worden afgevoerd.
Op de FireSales Smoky Multi Socket zit één jaar garantie na aankoopdatum op product- en fabricage-
fouten. Schade door onzorgvuldig handelen wordt niet vergoed. Reparatie vereist deskundigheid. Het
is dan ook zeker aan te bevelen het apparaat bij defecten naar FireWare terug te sturen.
De garantie vervalt indien blijkt dat het apparaat door uzelf of derden geopend is of als u zelf of
derden modicaties of aanpassingen van welke aard dan ook hebben aangebracht zonder uitdrukkeli-
jke toestemming van de leverancier. Ook vervalt de garantie wanneer rookvloeistof gebruikt is welke
niet geschikt is voor het rookelement van 16 V.

1. Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your FireSales Smoky Multi Socket!
The FireSales Smoky Multi Socket is a special eects appliance that simulates a malfunction in a
junction box. The appliance is made for training purposes and therefore also needs to be used as such.
FireSales is a FireWare bv brand name.
Prior to using it you should read this user manual thoroughly,
in order for you to be fully informed about the use, working and
the characteristics of the FireSales Smoky Multi Socket.
When using this appliance closely follow the instructions and guidelines, as described in this
manual. Never change the order of the acts to be performed. In case anything concerning
the use is not clear please contact FireWare.
Only adults who are informed about the content of this user manual should use this appli-
ance. May only be used by experts in a professional exercise situation.
PLEASE NOTE: NEVER use this appliance in the presence of children and animals.
This is a practice appliance. Use this appliance only what it is designed for.
PLEASE NOTE: NEVER connect other plugs to the wire end of the FireSales Smoky Multi
Socket.
This electrical appliance is designed to be used INDOORS.
ONLY use the appliance in plugs with an earth connection.
The smoke unit works on 16 V; as a result it requires a special smoke liquid.
The location of the appliance needs to be:
• dry.
• free of dust and polluted particles.
• properly ventilated with smoke-free air.
• between 5 °C and 45 °C.
• have a humidity of less than 80%.
• free of vibrations.
• properly lit.
• a non-ammable surface.
• free of explosive gasses.

Place the appliance stabile on a at surface and make sure the appliance cannot fall over.
Always place the appliance in an easily accessible location, so that the appliance can be
turned o ‘quickly and easily’ without running the risk of the appliance falling over.
Make sure that the appliance and the wires can be placed in a safe location so that no one
can slip, trip or fall over it. Tape the wires to the oor if necessary. The smoke unit contains
a liquid, if the appliance falls over this could lead to a SHORT-CIRCUIT!
The metal needle in the middle of the smoke unit is vulnerable. In case this part breaks
down the appliance will be damaged beyond repair.
For your own safety you need to disconnect the appliance before lling up the smoke liquid.
Make sure the smoke unit is NEVER lled with liquids other than the one prescribed. This
can damage the appliance beyond repair.
Make sure you do not breath in the fumes of the liquid; this will damage your health.
Pay attention that you do not apply smoke liquid to the plugs. This can cause a SHORT-
CIRCUIT!
NEVER drink the smoke liquid. Keep it out of reach of children. In case of contacts with the
eyes immediately rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor. Contact a doctor if some-
one has ingested the smoke liquid. Show your doctor the packaging of the smoke liquid.
In order to dose even better it is recommended to rst remove the air from the syringe
by pointing the syringe upwards and carefully pressing until all the air has disappeared.
When the liquid has been placed in the smoke unit the bottle with smoke liquid needs to be
sealed o immediately. Make sure the bottle with the childproof stopper is sealed o prop-
erly. Store it outside the reach of children.
If there is still liquid in the syringe after lling the smoke unit return this to the bottle.
Always empty the syringe after use!
Clean the liquid on the casing with a dry cloth in the unlikely event that a surplus of smoke
liquid has ended up in the smoke unit. If the metal needle is lling up with smoke liquid it
takes a bit longer before the appliance will produce smoke. You can remove some liquid or
wait until a sucient amount has evaporated.
DO NOT touch the smoke unit during and after use. It becomes HOT.

NEVER place objects (cloth, etc) over the smoke unit when it is in use as the smoke unit is
hot and can cause burns and re.
Only store the appliance in the packaging once all the liquid has been removed from the
smoke unit and once the smoke unit has suciently cooled o.
Place wipes with smoke liquid that may have been used in the intended litterbin.
If the appliance is damaged you should not use the appliance.
NEVER open the appliance. This can cause electric shocks and will cancel any kind of
warranty.
In the event service or repair is required this product can ONLY be opened by a FireWare
technician; this is to prevent the risk of getting an electric shock. If a problem occurs, discon-
nect the product from the mains voltage and contact FireWare.
The manufacturer does not accept any responsibility for damage caused by not (strictly)
observing the safety measures and instructions in this manual or for carelessness during the
use of the product listed in this document and possible matching accessories.

1. Use syringe to ll up the FireSales Smoky Multi Socket with the special smoke liquid.
a Remove the protective cap from the syringe.
b Fill in the syringe max. 0,8 ml of the FireSales special smoke liquid or FireSales
Cirrus Smoke Fluid. Other smoke uids are not permitted!
c Fill the heating element (c) with smoke liquid.
Apply the liquid around the metal needle (d), keeping the top of the needle clear!
Attention! Please do not ll up the heating element to the top. Otherwise no
smoke will be produced!
d If any smoke liquid is left in the syringe, return it to the bottle.
5. Connect FireSales Smoky Multi Socket to 230 V DC power supply.
ONLY use the appliance in plugs with an earth connection !
5. Press button on the remote control to start smoke ow.
6. FireSales Smoky Multi Socket needs ~ 3-5 sec to heat up. It will start to produce smoke
and crackling sound.
7. To stop the smoke ow, please press again button on the remote control or unplug the
device from the power supply.
8. After use, unplug the FireSales Smoky Multi Socket and store as described in Paragraph 2.

5. Switching o
When the machine is in use you can stop the smoke production at any time by turning the switch on
the wired remote control o. The LED will be turned o. There is a few seconds delay between turning
the appliance o and before it actually stops producing smoke.
The appliance will continue to produce smoke as long as there is smoke liquid in the tank. To preserve
the life span it is advisable to turn the FireSales Smoky Multi Socket o as quickly as possible once
the liquid has run out. After use, unplug the device and store as described in Paragraph 2.

To maintain the performance of the FireSales Smoky Multi Socket, it should be properly maintained.
1. It is recommended to remove the smoke liquid from the smoke unit after use. You can do
this by holding a cloth against the mouth and dripping the liquid on the cloth by slanting
the junction box or keeping it upside down.
2. If you have the Smoky Multi Socket in a xed location make sure that the plug gets
removed from the socket.
3. If the appliance is not used for more than two days in a row it is recommended to remove
the remaining smoke liquid.
7. Aftercare
Electric appliances, accessories and packaging need to be collected and recycled separately or
disposed o in an environmentally responsible manner.
The FireSales Smoky Multi Socket has a one-year warranty against product and manufacturing faults.
Damage as a result of careless acting is not refunded. Repairs require expertise. It is therefore highly
recommended to return the appliance to us in the event of a defect.
The warranty is cancelled if it becomes apparent that you or a third party opened the appliance or
if you or a third party have applied modications or adjustments of any kind without the explicit
permission from the supplier. The warranty is also cancelled if you use smoke liquid that is not
suitable for the 16 V smoke element.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Ankauf Ihres FireSales Smoky Multi Socket !
Der FireSales Smoky Multi Socket ist ein Eektgerät, welches eine Störung in einer Stecker-
Verteilerdose simuliert. Das Gerät wurde für Trainings hergestellt und soll auch nur dafür verwendet
werden.
FireSales ist eine Marke von FireWare bv.
Vor der Inbetriebnahme müssen Sie diese Anleitung gründlich durchnehmen,
so dass Sie genau über Verwendung, Funktions weise und Kennzeichen des
FireSales Smoky Multi Socket informiert sind.
Befolgen Sie beim Gebrauch genau die Anweisungen und Richtlinien, wie in dieser
Anleitung beschrieben. Ändern Sie nie die Reihenfolge der auszuführenden Handlungen.
Sollte Ihnen hinsichtlich des Gebrauchs irgend etwas unklar sein, dann kontaktieren Sie
bitte FireWare.
Nur Erwachsene dürfen das Gerät benutzen. Diese Personen müssen den Inhalt dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung kennen. Nur Experten dürfen den Smoky Multi Socket in einer profes-
sionellen Übungssituation anwenden.
ACHTUNG: Dieses Gerät NIEMALS in Anwesenheit von Kindern und Tieren benutzen.
Es ist ein Übungsgerät. Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nur gemäß seinem Verwendung
szweck.
ACHTUNG: Koppeln Sie NIEMALS andere Stecker zu das Kabel an den Smoky Multi
Socket.
Dieses elektrische Gerät ist zur Anwendung IM HAUS bestimmt.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät NUR in Steckdosen mit Schutzerdung.
Die Raucheinheit arbeitet mit 16 V, dies erfordert eine spezielle Rauchüssigkeit.
Der Standort des Geräts muss:
• trocken sein.
• frei von Staub und verschmutzten Luftpartikeln sein.
• gut mit rauchfreier Luft belüftet sein.
• zwischen 5 °C und 45 °C Temperatur haben.
• eine Luftfeuchtigkeit von weniger als 80% haben.
• vibrationsfrei sein.
• gut beleuchtet sein.
• eine nicht entammbare Fläche sein.
• frei von explosiven Gasen sein.

Platzieren Sie das Gerät stabil auf einer achen Fläche und sorgen Sie dafür, dass es nicht
umfallen kann.
Platzieren Sie das Gerät immer an einem gut erreichbaren Ort, so dass Sie es bei der Übung
‘schnell und einfach’ ausschalten können, ohne Risiko, dass das Gerät umfällt.
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Gerät und die Kabel an einem sicheren Ort platziert werden, so
dass keine Personen ausrutschen, straucheln oder fallen können. Befestigen Sie die Kabel,
falls nötig, am Boden. In der Raucheinheit bendet sich Flüssigkeit, wenn das Gerät umfällt,
kann es zu einem KURZSCHLUSS kommen!
Die Metallnadel in der Mitte der Raucheinheit ist empndlich. Geht diese kaputt, dann ist
das Gerät so beschädigt, dass es nicht mehr repariert werden kann.
Nehmen Sie zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit das Gerät vom Strom, bevor Sie Rauchüssigkeit
nachfüllen.
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass die Raucheinheit NIEMALS mit anderen Flüssigkeiten als den vorge-
schriebenen gefüllt wird. Dadurch kann das Gerät so beschädigt werden, dass es sich nicht
mehr reparieren lässt.
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass Sie den Flüssigkeitsdampf nicht einatmen, das ist schädlich für die
Gesundheit.
Passen Sie auf, dass Sie in den Kontaktlöchern keine Rauchüssigkeit anbringen.
Das kann einen KURZSCHLUSS verursachen.
Trinken Sie die Rauchüssigkeit NIEMALS. Bewahren Sie diese außerhalb der Reichweite
von Kindern auf. Im Falle eines direkten Kontakts mit den Augen sofort mit viel Wasser
spülen und einen Arzt kontaktieren. Haben Sie doch Rauchüssigkeit getrunken, dann kon-
taktieren Sie bitte einen Arzt. Zeigen Sie Ihrem Arzt die Verpackung der Rauchüssigkeit.
Für eine noch bessere Dosierung empehlt es sich, erst die Luft aus der Injektionspritze
zu entfernen, indem Sie die Nadel nach oben richten und vorsichtig drücken, bis alle Luft
verschwunden ist.
Ist die Flüssigkeit in die Raucheinheit gefüllt, muss das Fläschchen mit der Rauchüssigkeit
direkt verschlossen werden. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Fläschchen mit dem kindersicheren
Verschluss gut verschlossen ist. Bewahren Sie dies außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern
auf.
Bendet sich noch Flüssigkeit in der Injektionsnadel, nach Füllung der Raucheinheit, dann
geben Sie diese wieder in die kleine Flasche zurück. Leeren Sie die Injektionsnadel stets
nach Gebrauch.

Sollte unverhot zu viel Rauchüssigkeit in die Raucheinheit gelangen, wischen Sie dann
die Flüssigkeit auf dem Gehäuse mit einem trockenen Tuch weg. Wenn die Metallnadel mit
Rauchüssigkeit vollläuft, dauert es länger, bis das Gerät Rauch abgibt. Sie können Flüssigkeit
herausholen oder warten, bis genug verdampft ist.
Berühren Sie die Raucheinheit während und nach Gebrauch NIEMALS. Sie wird HEISS.
Legen Sie NIEMALS Gegenstände (Tücher u. ä. ) über die Raucheinheit, wenn diese in Ge-
brauch ist. Die Raucheinheit ist heiß und kann Brandstellen und Brände verursachen.
Tun Sie das Gerät erst dann zur Lagerung in die Verpackung, wenn Sie die gesamte Flüssig-
keit aus der Raucheinheit entfernt haben und wenn diese sich genügend abgekühlt hat.
Werfen Sie eventuell gebrauchte Tücher mit Rauchüssigkeit in einen dafür bestimmten
Abfalleimer.
Ist das Gerät beschädigt, dürfen Sie es nicht mehr gebrauchen.
Önen Sie das Gerät NIEMALS. Das kann zu Elektroschocks führen und außerdem verfällt
jede Form der Garantie.
Sind Wartung oder Reparatur nötig, dann darf dieses Gerät AUSSCHLIESSLICH von einem
Techniker von FireWare geönet werden; dies zur Vermeidung des Risikos, einen Elektro-
schock zu erleiden. Tritt ein Problem auf, dann nehmen Sie das Produkt vom Lichtnetz und
kontaktieren Sie FireWare.
Der Hersteller ist niemals verantwortlich für Schäden oder Verletzungen, deren Ursache darin
liegt, dass die Sicherheitsvorschriften und -anweisungen in dieser Anleitung nicht (genau) be-
folgt werden, oder die aufgrund von Unachtsamkeit beim Gebrauch des in diesem Dokument
angegebenen Produkts sowie des eventuellen Zubehörs zu diesem entstehen.
