Customising Drying Cycle
Delay Start
The ‘Delay Start’ option enables you to delay the start of the drying cycle from between
15 minutes and 12 hours. Delayed start options are 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, then
hourly up to 12 hours. This can be useful to time your drying to finish when you arrive
home from work, or to start when power rates are lower.
To ‘Delay Start’ your cycle:
1. Select the cycle using the control dial.
2. Use the < > buttons to increase and decrease the ‘Delay Start’ time.
3. Touch the
button to confirm.
4. Touch the
to start the cycle.
5. The display will indicate the time until the cycle will start
We suggest that you avoid using ‘Delay Start’ for damp, non-colourfast items as this may cause dye
run to occur.

Favourite
After using your dryer a few times you may discover there are some drying options you prefer for some cycles. You can
programme your dryer to remember the drying options you prefer for each drying cycle. There are two options for
making a drying cycle a favourite.
At the end of a cycle:
1. The display will show the cycle used and the status as complete with a question
‘Save as favourite?’.
2. To accept touch the
button.
3. The display will show the setting has been saved.
4. The cycle will now show with a
indicating the cycle has been saved as a favourite.
From ‘Options’:
1. Select the cycle using the control dial.
2. Select start time (‘No Delay’ or ‘Delayed Start’ time of your choice).
3. Scroll through the ‘Options’ using the < > buttons until ‘Favourite’, touch the
button to select.
4. Touch the
again to save as a favourite.
5. The cycle will now show with a
indicating the cycle has been saved as a favourite.
Favourites can only be removed by using ‘reset defaults’ in the settings menu. When ‘reset
defaults’ is selected all favourites saved for all cycles will be removed.

Drying Cycle Options
All drying cycles default to the recommended options based on the average expected load to be dried. You can vary the
options (eg ‘Dryness Level’, ‘Wrinkle Free’) to create your desired cycle.
Some options are not available on some cycles for clothes care reasons, or because the option is not
appropriate for the cycle.
To change a drying cycle option:
1. Touch
on the control panel.
2. Touch <or >to scroll the options.
3. Touch
to select the option and enable editing.
4. Touch <or >to select the option and then touch
to confirm.
To change an option or options you have selected after a cycle has started:
• Turn the dryer off and on again using the POWER button, then select your new setting through the options
menu, touch
to restart the cycle with the new setting or settings.
Some options may not be available for selection under certain conditions and after particular stages
of the drying cycle have passed.

Description Options
Dryness Level
When your dryer senses that the clothes have dried
to the dryness level selected, the dryer will
automatically finish the cycle. Note: Two lights are
used to show some dryness levels, eg to achieve the
‘Damp Dry’ setting both the ‘Dry’ and the ‘Damp’ dry
lights will be illuminated.
Five dryness levels from
‘Damp’ through to ‘Extra Dry’.
If you wish to change from the
default dryness, you can
choose the dryness level to
suit your load depending on
how dry you wish for your
items to be.
Wrinkle Free
To minimise wrinkling, select one of the
‘Wrinkle Free’ options. At the end of the cycle, the
drum will rotate periodically and cool air will be
circulated through the load to minimise wrinkling and
creasing. This is particularly useful if you cannot
remove the items immediately after the cycle ends.
• ‘ON’ provides ‘Wrinkle
Free’ operation for 1 hour.
• ‘Extra’ provides ‘Wrinkle
Free’ operation for 24
hours.
Damp Dry Signal
Use this option if you want your dryer to alert you to
remove items once your load reaches the damp
stage. The dryer will beep to alert you to remove
your items, then it will continue drying until the
remaining load reaches the dryness level you
selected. Note: If ‘Beeps’ have been set to OFF in
the ‘Settings’ menu — this option will not be
available.
