3 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 GENERAL INFORMATION
Please read all safety instructions carefully. Failure to comply with the warnings or take residual risks into account
may result in electric shock, fire and / or serious injury.
Keep the operating instructions in a safe place and have them readily available to consult. Pass these instructions
on if you provide your e-bike for someone else’s use.
The generic names used in these operating instructions, such as motor, battery and operating element, all refer to
original FIT e-bike components.
3.2 TYRE PRESSURE SENSOR
Do not use the sensor if it is damaged and / or if there are other visible defects. You must use a new sensor in such
cases. For safety reasons and to guarantee optimum operation, we recommend having maintenance and repair work
carried out by your specialist dealer only.
The e-bike manufacturer is not liable for and does not replace any parts which have been damaged as the result of in-
correct fitting or incorrect usage or which have been damaged in an accident which is neither partially nor completely
due to a fault in the sensor.
Biketec GmbH has not tested the compatibility of third-party manufacturer parts with the sensor and can thus not
approve their use. To ensure optimal operation, the sensor must only be used with original Biketec valves and original
Biketec accessories and only fitted with installation tools provided by Biketec GmbH. If the installation and safety
instructions are not observed, this can cause a fault which is not covered by the warranty.
