zeugen transportieren!

• Ihr Produkt ist kein Spielzeug und gehört nicht in Kinderhände, weil es zerbrechliche,
kleine und verschluckbare Teile enthält, die bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch Personen
verletzen können!
• Lassen Sie Verpackungsmaterial nicht einfach liegen, da sich spielende Kinder daran
schneiden können. Weiterhin besteht die Gefahr des Verschluckens und Einatmens von
Kleinmaterial und Dämmmaterial.
• Setzen Sie Ihr Produkt keiner starken Hitze, Kälte oder direkter Sonneneinstrahlung
aus. Achten Sie auf sich erhitzende Geräteteile während des Betriebs.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät nur auf brandfeste, nicht wärmeleitende und stabile Unterlagen.
• Schalten Sie das Produkt bei Nichtgebrauch ab.

2 Beschreibung und Funktion:
Ihr Fixpoint®-Gaslötkolben dient dem von Stromquellen unabhängigen Löten, ist klein, leicht
und wird mit Butan-Feuerzeuggas betrieben. Eine Piezo-Zündung ist integriert. Die Löttem-
peratur ist einstellbar, die Lötspitze wechselbar. Nutzen Sie die Schutzkappe als Sicherheits-
ablage für den Gaslötkolben.
3 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch:
Eine andere Verwendung als in Kapitel Beschreibung und Funktion beschrieben, ist nicht
zugelassen. Ihr Produkt darf nur in trockenen Innenräumen benutzt werden. Das Nichtbeach-
ten und Nichteinhalten dieser Bestimmungen und der Sicherheitshinweise kann zu schweren
Unfällen und Schäden an Personen und Sachen führen.
4 Lieferumfang:
• Modizieren und ändern Sie den Artikel und dessen Zubehörteile nicht! Beachten Sie
dazu auch das Kapitel „Gewährleistung und Haftung“
• Weiterhin sind Vibrationen, mechanische Einwirkungen, magnetische und elektro-
magnetische Felder sowie Feuchtigkeit und Staubeinwirkung zu vermeiden.
• Bei Defekten, mechanischen Beschädigungen, Betriebsstörungen und anderen nicht
durch diese Anleitung behebbaren Funktionsproblemen, nehmen Sie das Gerät sofort
außer Betrieb und wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler zur Reparatur oder zum Austausch
wie in Kapitel Gewährleistung und Haftung beschrieben.
• Achten Sie beim Transport auf die im Kapitel „Technische Daten“ gelisteten Angaben und
treffen Sie geeignete Transportmaßnahmen, z.B. in der Originalverpackung.
• Öffnen Sie niemals das Gehäuse, da das Gerät nach Befüllung leicht entzündliche Stoffe
enthält!
• Verwenden Sie keine beschädigten Teile.
• Im Fall einer Verbrennung halten Sie die betroffene Hautstelle zuerst unter ießendes,
kaltes Wasser. Konsultieren Sie im Notfall sofort einen Arzt.
• Beachten Sie die Aufheizzeiten und verwenden Sie ausschließlich original Fixpoint® -
Zubehör, um einwandfreie Funktion zu gewährleisten.
• Vor dem Einlagern muss das Gerät vollständig abgekühlt sein, um Schmorbrände zu
vermeiden.
• Lötdämpfe können gesundheitsschädlich sein und Krebs verursachen. Achten Sie auf
ausreichende Belüftung.
• Zünden Sie entfernt von Gesicht und kleidung!

5 Bedien- und Einstellelemente:
Nutzen Sie die Schutzkappe als Sicherheitsständer während
der Arbeitspausen wie in Abb. 1 gezeigt.

Der EIN/AUS-Schalter ist in der linken Position aus.

6 Inbetriebnahme und Bedienung:
Berühren Sie weder Lötspitze noch Gehäuse des
aufgeheizten Gerätes.
Nutzen Sie die Schutzkappe als Sicherheitsständer während der
Arbeitspausen.
1. Befüllen:
Drehen Sie den Gaslötkolben und drücken Sie eine Butangasasche
in das Füllventil. Der Tank ist in ca. 15 Sekunden aufgeladen.
Lassen Sie das Gas nach dem Befüllen noch ca. 3 Minuten
stabilisieren.
2. Zündung:
1. Drehen Sie die Gaszufuhr auf, in dem Sie den Gasregler auf die
rechte Mittelposition (A) stellen.
2. Zünden Sie den Gaslötkolben mit dem Zünder (B).
3. Warten Sie ca. 3 Sekunden bis der Auslöser aufglüht.

7 Wartung, Pege, Lagerung und Transport:
3. Lötspitzenwechsel:
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Lötspitze erkaltet ist.
2. Drehen Sie die Lötspitze mit einem passenden Ring- oder
Maulschlüssel gegen den Uhrzeigersinn ab.
Stecken Sie die Schutzkappe erst nach erfolgtem Abkühlen wieder auf.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und lassen Sie es vollständig abkühlen!
• Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur mit einem trockenen Leinentuch. Gehen Sie beim
Reinigen vorsichtig vor, um Kratzer zu vermeiden. Bei starken Verschmutzungen kann
das Reinigungstuch leicht mit Wasser angefeuchtet werden. Setzen Sie keine
Reinigungsmittel und Chemikalien ein, da dies den Kunststoff angreifen kann.
• Entfernen Sie Rückstände vorsichtig mit einem kleinen Messer.
• Lagern Sie Ihr Produkt bei längerem Nichtgebrauch bitte für Kinder unzugänglich und in
trockener und staubgeschützter Umgebung.
• Vermeiden Sie Stellen mit hohen Temperaturen und Feuchtigkeit, bzw. Stellen, die nass
werden können, auch bei Wartung, Pege, Lagerung und Transport.
• Entleeren Sie das Gerät vollständig vor dem Transport oder vor dem Lagern.
• Heben Sie für den Transport die Originalverpackung auf, um Schäden zu vermeiden.
8 Problembehebung:
Problem Lösung
Das Produkt heizt nicht auf. Prüfen Sie, ob das Gerät ausreichend mit Butan-
gas befüllt ist und der Gasregler aufgedreht.
Das Lötergebnis ist unzureichend. Nutzen Sie eine andere Lötspitze und passen Sie
die Löttemperatur mit dem Gasregler an.

11 Entsorgungshinweise:
Dieses Produkt gehört nicht in den Hausmüll. Geben Sie es am Ende seiner Lebensdauer
an den Hersteller, die Verkaufsstelle oder an dafür eingerichtete, öffentliche Sammelstellen
kostenlos zurück. Einzelheiten zur Entsorgung regelt das jeweilige Landesrecht. Wertstoffe
werden dem Recyclingkreislauf zugeführt, um daraus neue Rohstoffe zu gewinnen.
Folgende Wertstoffe werden in kommunalen Sammelstellen gesammelt:
• Altglas, Kunststoffe, Altmetalle, Bleche uvm.
Mit dieser Art der Verwertung von Altgeräten leisten Sie einen wichtigen Beitrag zum
Schutz unserer Umwelt.

Produktes hat, deckt die Garantie nur das Produkt selbst ab.
• Falls ein Fehler oder Defekt an Ihrem Gerät festgestellt werden sollte, wenden Sie sich
bitte an Ihren Fachhändler und zeigen Sie ggf. Ihre Quittung oder Rechnung als
Kaufnachweis vor. Ihr Händler wird den Fehler entweder vor Ort beheben, oder das
Gerät an den Hersteller weiterleiten. Sie erleichtern unseren Technikern Ihre Arbeit sehr,
wenn Sie eventuelle Fehler ausführlich beschreiben – nur dann haben Sie Gewähr,
dass auch selten auftretende Fehler mit Sicherheit gefunden und beseitigt werden!
• Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Personen- oder Sachschäden, die durch unsachgemäße
Installation oder Bedienungsschritte, die nicht in dieser Anleitung beschrieben sind,
entstanden sind. Dazu zählt u. a. jegliche Änderung und Modikation des Produktes
und seines Zubehörs.
• Ein anderer als in dieser Betriebsanleitung beschriebener Einsatz ist unzulässig und

• Do not interrupt the product to extreme heat, coldness or direct sun insulation.
Mind warmed up parts of the device during operating!
• Only place the product on re resistant, not heat conducting and solid surfaces.
• Switch off the product, when not in use.
• Do not modify or alter the device or its accessories! Therefor mind chapter “warranty
and liability“.

2 Description and Function:
Your Fixpoint® gas powered soldering iron is made for soldering, independent from mains. It
is small, light weight and is used with butane lighter gas. You can adjust the soldering
temperature and change the soldering tip. It comes with electronic piezo ignition. Use the
protection cap as safety stand for the soldering iron.
3 Intended Use:
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter Description and
Function. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations and
safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and
property.

5 Operating Elements:
Use the protection cap as safety stand for the soldering iron during
work breakes like shown in Fig. 1.

solvable with this manual, take the device out of work immediately and consult your
dealer for questions, repairing or change.
• Mind the specications for transporting and use applicable methods for it, e.g. by

• Never open the housing because the device contains easily inameable gas after
charging!
• Do not touch heated parts. There is a risk of burning!
• In case of burning, cool down the injured skin by owing and cool water. Immediately call
a doctor for emergencies.
• Mind the heating-up time and only use original Fixpoint® accessories for efcient
operating.• Let the device cool down completely before storing to avoid smoldering res.
• Soldering steams can be injurious and cause cancer. Mind adequate air ventilation during
work.
• Ignite away from face and clothing!

6 Installing and Operating:
Do not touch the heated soldering tip or barrel!
Use the protection cap as safety stand for the soldering iron during
work breakes.
1. Relling:
Turn the soldering iron upside down and push a butane can into
the lling valve. The tank is llied within 15 seconds. Let the gas
stabilize after lling for approx. 3 minutes.
2. Ignition:
1. Turn on the fuel by moving the control lever to the right at the
mid position (A).
2. Ignite by pushing the ignition button (B).
3. Wait 3 seconds for catalyst to glow.
3. Changing tips:
1. Make sure the soldering tip has cooled down bevore the removal.
2. Turn it anti-clockwise for loosening with a combination wrench and
fasten it clockwise.
Put on the protection cap only when the soldering iron has cooled
down completely.

8 Troubleshooting:
Problem Help
The product does not heat up. Check, if enough butane gas is inside the tank
and if the control lever is turned on.
The soldering result is inadequate. Use another soldering tip or adjust the soldering
temperature.

9 Warranty and Liability:
• The producer grants a 2 years guarantee to a new device.
• As the manufacturer has no inuence on installation, warranty of the product only
applies to the product itself.
• If any fault or damage is detected on your device, please contact your dealer and provide
your sales slip or invoice as evidence of the purchase, if necessary. Your dealer will
repair the fault either on site, or send the device to the manufacturer. You make the work
of our technicians considerably easier, when you describe possible faults in detail – only
then you can be assured that faults occurring only rarely will be found and repaired with
certainty!
7 Care, Maintenance, Storage and Transport:

• Switch off the device and let it cool down completely!
• Clean the product only with a dry linen. Be careful with the cleaning to avoid
scratches. For intensive pollution you can damp the linen with some water. Do not use
cleaning supplies and chemicals, because they can corrode the plastic material.
• Remove residues carefully with a small knife.
• Empty the gas completely before transport or storing.
• Avoid places with high temperatures, humidity, or places which can become wet, also
during maintenance, care, storage, and transport.
• Please store your product in a dry and dustproof surround when not used for longer
time. The product must be stored impenetrably for children.
• Please retain the packaging to avoid damages during transport.

11 Disposal Instructions:
This product should not be disposed together with domestic waste. Please return your pro-
duct free of charge at the end of its service life at the producer, the sales outlet, or a public
collection point, established for this purpose. Details for disposal are regulated in the rele-
vant federal state law. Potential recyclable materials are fed into the recycling cycle to obtain
new raw materials from them. Following materials are collected a local collection points:
• Waste glass, plastic, waste metal, metal sheet, and more.
This type of recycling of waste contributes signicantly to the protection of our environment.
• The manufacturer is not liable for damages to persons or property caused by improper
installation or operation not described in this guide. This includes, among others, any
alteration and modication of the product and its accessories.
• Any use other than described in this user‘s guide is not permitted, and causes loss of
warranty, loss of guarantee, and non-liability.
