sull’uso, la sicurezza e la manutenzione dell’umidicatore. Conservate con cura per consultazioni
future. Questo è un elettrodomestico atto ad umidicare e profumare un ambiente domestico .
Utilizzate l’apparecchio soltanto per gli scopi indicati nelle presenti istruzioni. Osservate i messaggi

AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI
Questo elettrodomestico è progettato per essere utilizzato SOLTANTO per uso
domestico, in ambiente chiuso, non commerciale, non industriale, non all’aria
aperta. Utilizzate l’apparecchio esclusivamente nel modo descritto in questo
manuale. Altri usi non contemplati possono causare la generazione di fuoco
o shock elettrico.
• Precedentemente al primo uso, e periodicamente durante la vita del pro-
dotto, controllate l’integrità della struttura dell’apparecchio e del cavo di ali-
mentazione per accertarvi che non vi siano danni; se risultasse danneggia-
to, non inserite la spina e portate immediatamente il prodotto ad un centro
di assistenza autorizzato FLAEM o dal Vs. rivenditore di ducia.
• Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, deve essere sostituito da un cen-
tro di assistenza autorizzato FLAEM o dal Vs. rivenditore di ducia al ne di
evitare situazioni pericolose.
• ATTENZIONE: per evitare i rischi connessi al reset accidentale del dispositi-
vo di sicurezza, questo apparecchio non deve essere alimentato tramite un
dispositivo di accensione/spegnimento esterno, come un timer, né collega-
to ad un circuito che venga acceso e spento regolarmente dal fornitore di
energia.
• Allo scopo di evitare l’eventualità di ustioni, l’umidicatore deve essere uti-
lizzato sotto la stretta supervisione di un adulto che abbia letto le istruzioni
seguenti e familiarizzato con esse. Non utilizzate in prossimità di bambini,
persone non autosucienti e animali domestici, onde evitare il rischio di
scottature. ATTENZIONE: VAPORE BOLLENTE!

• Questo dispositivo può essere utilizzato da bambini dagli 8 anni in su e da
persone con capacità siche, sensoriali o mentali ridotte, oppure non in pos-
sesso dell’esperienza e delle conoscenze necessarie. Ciò a condizione che le
stesse abbiano ricevuto le informazioni necessarie all’utilizzo sicuro del di-
spositivo e che siano in grado di comprendere i rischi inerenti, oppure che
utilizzino l’apparecchiatura sotto supervisione. Non permettere ai bambini
di giocare col dispositivo. Le operazioni di pulizia e manutenzione possono
essere eettuate da bambini unicamente sotto la supervisione di un adulto.
• Tenete i materiali di imballaggio come i sacchetti di plastica fuori della por-
tata dei bambini.
• Non trascinate e non tirate l’apparecchio dal cavo di alimentazione. Non
arrotolate il cavo di alimentazione attorno all’apparecchio. Non toccate il
cavo di alimentazione con le mani bagnate, non muovete e non accendete
l’apparecchio se si è a piedi nudi.
• Non utilizzate l’apparecchio vicino a vasche da bagno, lavabi, grandi conte-
nitori d’acqua, né esporlo all’umidità o alla pioggia. Non immergete com-
pletamente l’unità riscaldante (2) nell’acqua. Se l’apparecchio dovesse ac-
cidentalmente cadere nell’acqua, staccate immediatamente la spina dalla
presa di alimentazione prima di estrarlo dall’acqua. Non utilizzarlo di nuovo
nche non sarà stato ispezionato o riparato in un centro di assistenza auto-
rizzato.
• Non utilizzate mai adattatori per tensioni di alimentazione diverse da quelle
riportate sul fondo dell’apparecchio (dati targa). Non alimentare l’apparec-
chio da una alimentazione in corrente continua (DC).
• Posizionate l’apparecchio su una supercie piatta, stabile e resistente all’ac-
qua. Non posizionatelo direttamente sui mobili, sui tappeti o sui parquet.
Non esponete l’apparecchio alla luce diretta del sole o agli agenti atmosferi-
ci esterni. Non dirigere il getto di vapore verso i mobili, i muri o i pavimenti.
Non muovete o manovrate l’apparecchio mentre è in uso e fate attenzione
a non inciampare in esso.
• Non ostruite o bloccate le prese d’aria. Mantenete le aperture di ventilazio-
ne libere dalla polvere. Non fate mai cadere o inserire oggetti nelle aperture.
• Gli apparecchi dotati di serbatoio per l’acqua possono generare perdite
d’acqua. Prima di ogni uso, controllate che il serbatoio non sia danneggiato
o incrinato.
• Utilizzate solo ACQUA CORRENTE.
• Non aggiungete medicinali nel serbatoio dell’acqua o nella vaschetta porta
essenze aromatiche. Gli oli aromatici non devono mai essere aggiunti all’ac-
qua nel serbatoio.
• Tutte le parti dell’apparecchio devono essere installate come illustrato nella
descrizione prima dell’accensione.
• Staccate sempre la spina prima di riempire, rabboccare o pulire l’apparec-

chio.
• Lasciate rareddare l’apparecchio e disconnettete la spina dalla presa prima
di pulirlo o di rifornire l’acqua al serbatoio. Gettate l’acqua residua e risciac-
quate prima di rifornire il serbatoio.
• Assicuratevi che l’apparecchio sia privo di acqua e preferibilmente asciutto
prima di riporlo.
• Periodicamente eettuate le operazioni di“Manutenzione e Pulizia”.
• Il Fabbricante, il Venditore e l’Importatore si considerano responsabili agli
eetti della sicurezza, adabilità e prestazioni soltanto se: a) l’apparecchio è
impiegato in conformità alle istruzioni d’uso; b) l’impianto elettrico dell’am-
biente in cui l’apparecchio viene utilizzato è conforme alle leggi vigenti.
• Le riparazioni devono essere eettuate da un centro di assistenza autorizza-
to. Le riparazioni non autorizzate invalidano la garanzia e potrebbero gene-
rare un potenziale rischio elettrico.
• Considerare che livelli di umidità elevati possono favorire la crescita di
organismi biologici nell’ambiente.
• Fare in modo che l’area circostante l’umidicatore non diventi umida o
bagnata. In presenza di umidità, diminuire la produzione dell’umidicato-
re. Se il volume prodotto dall’umidicatore non può essere ridotto, usare
l’apparecchio in modo intermittente. Evitare che materiali assorbenti,
come tappeti, tende, panni o tovaglie diventino umidi.
• Durante le operazioni di riempimento e pulizia scollegare l’apparecchio
dall’alimentazione.
• Non lasciare mai acqua nel serbatoio quando l’apparecchio non viene uti-
lizzato.
• Svuotare e pulire l’umidicatore prima di riporlo. Pulire l’umidicatore
prima dell’uso successivo.
• Tenere l’apparecchio fuori dalla portata dei bambini. Vapore e acqua bol-
lente possono causare ustioni.
Questo testo è per gli utenti al di fuori dell’Unione europea:
- Questo apparecchio non è destinato all’uso da parte di persone (bambini

- I bambini dovranno essere sorvegliati per assicurarsi che non giochino con
l’apparecchio.

MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA
Prima di procedere alla pulizia dell’apparecchio, scollegate sempre il cavo di alimentazione (2.1) dalla
presa e lasciate che l’apparecchio si rareddi per circa 30 minuti. In previsione di un lungo periodo di
tempo in cui si prevede di non usarlo, riponete l’apparecchio pulito e asciutto nella propria scatola.
ATTENZIONE: La mancanza o la non puntuale manutenzione e pulizia può portare ad una ec-
cessiva incrostazione della resistenza che può causare il mancato funzionamento con conse-
guente non accensione della luce notturna ON/OFF (2.7) anche con serbatoio pieno.
Pulizia/manutenzione giornaliera:
1- Rimuovere l’unità riscaldante (2) ruotando e tirando verso l’alto (Fig. B).
2- Svuotare completamente il serbatoio fate uscire l’acqua dal foro (1.3) (Fig. G).
3- Prima di riempire, pulite il serbatoio sciacquandolo abbondantemente un paio di volte con acqua,
se non lo riutilizzate scolare e asciugare con un panno asciutto.
Attenzione: NON usate detergenti abrasivi o spazzole. NON lasciate acqua nel serbatoio dell’acqua
quando l’apparecchio non è in uso. Ciò può dar luogo a crescita di batteri nel serbatoio.
Pulizia/manutenzione settimanale:
1- Con cadenza settimanale pulite l’umidicatore nel modo descritto in“Pulizia giornaliera”.
2- Pulite l’unità riscaldante. Immergete l’unità riscaldante per 10 minuti in 10 cm di soluzione con il
50% di acqua ed il 50% di aceto bianco. Inne risciacquate abbondantemente con acqua calda
(circa 40°C) vedi (Fig. H).
ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
1. Prima di procedere al rabbocco dell’apparecchio, scollegate sempre il cavo di alimentazione (2.1)
dalla presa.
2. Per rimuovere l’unità riscaldante (2) vedi (g. B), premere l’unità riscaldante verso il basso (B1),
ruotare contemporaneamente in senso antiorario (B2) ed inne estraetela (B3) dal serbatoio (1).
3. Riempite il serbatoio (1) con acqua corrente no al livello indicato con Max sul serbatoio (1.1) (Max
4,5 litri).
4. Inserire unità riscaldante 2 nel serbatoio 1.
4.1 Far corrispondere alette (2.4) poste sull’unità riscaldante con le fessure (1.2) poste sul serbatoio
(Fig. D).
4.2 Ruotare in senso orario no al completo arresto.
5. ATTENZIONE: per non compromettere il funzionamento dell’umidicatore NON VERSATE le
essenze aromatiche direttamente nel serbatoio dell’acqua (1). Versate le essenze aromatiche
solamente nella vaschetta porta essenze (2.2) (g. E), facendo attenzione a non tracimare, riempire
no al livello segnato nella vaschetta (2.2).
6. Inserite la spina nella presa di corrente corrispondente alla tensione dell’apparecchio la luce not-
turna (2.7) si accenderà.
7. Regolare usso del vapore muovendo il parzializzatore usso vapore (2.3) avanti indietro (Fig. F).
8. Quando l’acqua nel serbatoio nisce la luce notturna ON/OFF (2.7) si spegne, staccare la spina dalla
presa di corrente e lasciare rareddare per 10 minuti prima di eseguire una nuova operazione dal
(punto 1).
NOTE: E’normale che durante l’utilizzo sentiate un dolce suono di ribollimento.
- L’umidicatore include anche un spegnimento di sicurezza, caratteristica che spegne l’unità
quando nel serbatoio termina l’acqua o si fa funzionare l’unità a secco.
- Per riavviare l’umidicatore scollegate la spina elettrica e lasciare rareddare per 5 minuti,
rabboccare il serbatoio con acqua e ripartire dal (punto 4).

Pulizia/manutenzione di ne stagione:
1- Pulite l’umidicatore nel modo descritto in“Pulizia settimanale”.
2- Disincrostate la resistenza (2.6), staccando il tappo dell’unità riscaldante (2.5) ruotando in senso
anti-orario (g. I) e con una spugna per piatti rimuovere il calcare (g. L).

COMPATIBILITÀ ELETTROMAGNETICA

L’umidicatore è stato studiato per soddisfare i requisiti attualmente richiesti per la compatibilità
elettromagnetica. In ogni caso, se avete il sospetto che il funzionamento dell’apparecchio interferisca
con il normale funzionamento del vostro televisore, radio o altro apparecchio elettrico provate a posi-
zionare diversamente l’apparecchio no a che l’interferenza sparisce, oppure collegate l’apparecchio
ad una presa elettrica diversa.
Il simbolo riportato sull’apparecchiatura indica che l’apparecchio da smaltire, è considerato
come riuto, e deve essere quindi oggetto di“raccolta separata”. Pertanto, l’utente dovrà confe-
rire (o far conferire) il suddetto riuto ai centri di raccolta dierenziata predisposti dalle ammini-
strazioni locali, oppure consegnarlo al rivenditore all’atto dell’acquisto di una nuova apparecchiatura
di tipo equivalente. La raccolta dierenziata del riuto e le successive operazioni di trattamento, recu-
pero e smaltimento, favoriscono la produzione di apparecchiature con materiali riciclati e limitano gli
eetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute causati da un’eventuale gestione impropria del riuto. Lo
smaltimento abusivo del prodotto da parte dell’utente comporta l’applicazione delle sanzioni ammi-

instructions carefully before using the device, as they provide important information on the use,
safety and maintenance of the humidier. Store carefully for future reference. This household device
is used to humidify and perfume a domestic environment. Use the device only for the purposes
indicated in these instructions. Comply with the important safety warnings. Suitably remove the
packaging.

This household device is intended ONLY for domestic use. It is not intended
for commercial or industrial use and it must not be used outdoors. Use the
device in compliance with the instructions contained in this manual. Any
other uses may generate re or electric shock.
• Before using the product for the rst time, and periodically during its life-
time, check the integrity of the device structure and of the power cable to
make sure there is no damage. In the event of damage, do not plug in the
cable and immediately take the product to an authorised FLAEM service
centre or to your trusted dealer.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
its service agent or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
• CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the
thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external
switching device, such as timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and o by the utility.
• In order to prevent burns, use the humidier in the presence of an adult
who has read and is familiar with the instructions. Do not use near chil-
dren, non-self-sucient individuals, and pets to prevent the risk of burns.
ATTENTION: HOT STEAM!
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Keep the packaging material, such as plastic bags, out of the reach of chil-
dren.
• Do not drag or pull the device by the power cable. Do not wind the power
cable around the device. Do not touch the power cable with wet hands.
Do not move and switch the device on if you are barefoot.
• Do not use the device near bathtubs, sinks, large water containers, or ex-
pose it to humidity or rain. Do not entirely immerse the heating unit (2) in
water. In the event of immersion, immediately disconnect the plug and
then remove the device from the water. Do not use it again until it has
been inspected or repaired at an authorised service centre.
• Never use adapters for power supply values other than those indicated on
the bottom of the device (plate data). Do not power the device with direct
current (DC).
• Position the device on a at, stable, and water-resistant surface. Do not
place it directly on furniture, carpets, or parquet. Do not expose the device
to direct sunlight or external weather agents. Do not direct the steam jet
directly towards furniture, walls, or oors. Do not move or manoeuvre the
device when it is running. Pay attention not to trip over it.
• Do not obstruct or block the air vents. Keep the ventilation inlets free from
dust. Ensure that no object falls or is inserted into the vents.
• Devices equipped with a water tank may be subject to water leaks. Before
each use, make sure that the tank is not damaged or cracked.
• Only use RUNNING WATER.
• Do not add medicines to the water tank or to the aromatic essence con-
tainer. Never add aromatic oils to the water tank.
• All the parts of the device must be installed as indicated in the rst start-
up description.
• Unplug the appliance during lling and cleaning.
• Wait for the device to cool down and disconnect the plug from the socket
before cleaning or relling the tank with water. Throw out the residual wa-
ter and rinse before relling the tank.
• Make sure that there is no water left in the device and that it is preferably
dry before storage.
• Periodically perform “Maintenance and Cleaning”operations.
• The Manufacturer, the Vendor and the Importer shall be held responsible
for safety, reliability and performance only if: a) the device is used in com-
pliance with the instructions for use b) the wiring where the device is be-
ing used is in compliance with current laws.
• Repairs must be carried out by an authorised service centre. Unauthorised
repairs void and null the warranty and may pose a potential electric risk.

• Be aware that high humidity levels may encourage the growth of biologi-
cal organisms in the environment.
• Do not permit the area around the humidier to become damp or wet.
If dampness occurs, turn the output of the humidier down. If the hu-
midier output volume cannot be turned down, use the humidier inter-
mittently. Do not allow absorbent materials, such as carpeting, curtains,
drapes, or tablecloths, to become damp.
• Unplug the appliance during lling and cleaning.
• Never leave water in the reservoir when the appliance is not in use.
• Empty and clean the humidier before storage. Clean the humidier be-
fore next use.
• Keep the appliance out of the reach of children. Steam and boiling water
may cause burns.
This text is intended for users outside the European Union:
- This device is not intended to be used by individuals (including children)
with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities or lacking experi-
ence and/or knowledge, unless they are monitored or they have received
instructions on using the device by the person responsible for their safety.
- Children must be monitored to make sure they do not play with the de-
vice.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Always disconnect the power cable (2.1) before topping up the device.
2. To remove the heating unit (2) see (g. B), press it downwards (B1), simultaneously turning it anti-
clockwise (B2) and then remove it (B3) from the tank (1).
3. Fill the tank (1) with running water up to the Maximum level indicator on the tank (1.1) (Max. 4.5
litres).
4. Insert heating unit 2 inside tank 1.
4.1 Ensure that the ns (2.4) on the heating unit correspond with the slits (1.2) on the tank.
4.2 Rotate clockwise until it comes to a complete stop.
5. WARNING: to prevent damage to the humidier, DO NOT POUR the aromatic essences di-
rectly into the water tank (1). Pour the aromatic essences into the essence container (2.2) (g. E).
Pay attention to prevent over ows, and ll the container up to the level indicated (2.2).
6. Insert the plug into the socket corresponding to the device voltage in order to switch the night
light on (2.7).
7. Adjust the steam ow by moving the steam ow shutter (2.3) forwards and backwards (g. F).
8. When there is no water in the tank, the ON/OFF night light (2.7) switches o. Unplug it from the
socket and wait 10 minutes for it to cool down before performing a new operation from (point 1).
NOTES: During operation, you may hear a gentle bubbling sound.
- The humidier also includes a safety switch that switches the unit o when the tank runs out
of water or if the unit runs in dry operation.
- To restart the humidier, disconnect the plug and wait 5 minutes for it to cool down. Top up
with water and restart from (point 4).
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Always disconnect the power cable (2.1) and wait 30 minutes for the device to cool down, before
cleaning. For ex-tended periods of non-use, store the device, only when it is clean and dry, inside its
box.
ATTENTION: Presence of excessive scale may be found on the resistance due to lack of or poor
maintenance and cleaning operations. This may be the cause of malfunctions on the ON/OFF
night light (2.7) even when the tank is full.
Daily cleaning/maintenance:
1- Remove the heating unit (2) by rotating it and pulling it upwards (Fig. B).
2- Fully drain the tank. Ensure that water drains from the hole (1.3) (Fig. G).
3- Before relling the tank, clean and rinse a couple of times with abundant water. If you do not use
it immediately, drain and dry with a cloth.
Warning: DO NOT use abrasive detergents or brushes. DO NOT leave water in the water tank when
the device is not running. This prevents bacteria from forming in the tank.
Weekly cleaning/ maintenance:
1- On a weekly basis, clean the humidier as described in “Daily cleaning”.
2- Clean the heating unit. Immerse the heating unit into 10 cm of solution containing 50% water and
50% white vinegar for 10 minutes. Lastly, rinse abundantly with hot water (approximately 40 °C)
see (Fig. H).
End of season cleaning/maintenance:
1- Clean the humidier as described in “Weekly cleaning”.
2- Descale the resistance (2.6), by removing the cap of the heating unit (2.5) rotating it anti-clockwise
(g. I). Use a regular sponge to remove the scale (g. L).

Dieses Haushaltsgerät ist AUSSCHLIEßLICH für eine Anwendung in der
häuslichen Umgebung geeignet. Es wurde nicht für einen Einsatz im ge-
werblichen oder Industrieumfeld gedacht und darf nicht im Freien verwen-
det werden. Das Gerät den in diesem Handbuch enthaltenen Anweisungen
entsprechend verwenden. Jede andere Anwendung kann zur Bränden oder
Stromschlag führen.
• Bevor das Gerät zum ersten Mal verwendet wird, und daraufhin dann re-
gelmäßig, die Unversehrtheit des Gehäuses und des Stromkabels prüfen,
um sicherzugehen, dass keine Schäden vorhanden sind. Sollte eine Be-
schädigung festgestellt werden, das Stromkabel nicht einstecken und das
Gerät sofort zu einem autorisierten FLAEM- Kundendienst- Zentrum oder
dem Händler Ihres Vertrauens bringen.
• Sollte das Stromkabel beschädigt sein, muss es vom Hersteller oder des-
sen Kundendienst oder von einer auf gleiche Weise ausgebildeten Fach-
kraft ausgetauscht werden, um Gefahren zu vermeiden.
• WARNUNG: Um eine Gefährdung durch eine unbeabsichtigte Rückstel-
lung des Thermosicherung zu vermeiden, darf dieses Gerät nicht über
eine externe Schaltvorrichtung, wie z.B.eine Zeitschaltuhr, oder an einen

Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Kindern, nicht-selbstständigen Personen
und Tieren verwenden, um einer Brandgefahr vorzubeugen. ACHTUNG:

• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und Personen mit körperli-
chen, senorischen oder mentalen Einschränkungen oder fehlender Erfah-
rung und Kenntnis bedient werden, wenn diese dabei beaufsichtigt wer-
den oder zuvor darüber unterrichtet wurden, wie das Gerät sicher bedient
wird und welche Gefahren mit seiner Verwendung verbunden sind. Kinder
dürfen mit dem Gerät nicht spielen und die Reinigung und Wartung darf
von Kindern nur unter der Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen durchgeführt wer-
den.
• Das Verpackungsmaterial, wie z.B. Plastiküten, außer der Reichweite von
Kindern aufbewahren.
• Das Gerät nicht am Stromkabel tragen oder ziehen. Das Stromkabel nicht
um das Gerät wickeln. Das Stromkabel nicht mit nassen Händen anfassen.
Das Gerät mit nackten Füßen nicht versetzen oder einschalten.
• Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Badewannen, Waschbecken, großen Was-
serbehältern verwenden oder Feuchtigkeit oder Regen aussetzen. Die
Heizeinheit (2) nicht vollständig in Wasser eintauchen. Sollte es dennoch
in Wasser eingetaucht werden, sofort den Netzstecker ziehen und das
Gerät aus dem Wasser nehmen. Es nicht verwenden, bevor es nicht von
einem autorisierten Kundendienst-Zentrum überprüft oder repariert wur-
de.
• Niemals Adapter verwenden, die andere Werte für die Stromversorgung
als die am Geräteboden angegebenen aufweisen (siehe Angaben auf dem
Typenschild). Das Gerät nicht an Gleichstrom (DC) anschließen.
• Das Gerät auf eine ebene, stabile und wasserfeste Oberäche stellen. Es
nicht direkt auf Möbelstücke, Teppiche oder Parkett stellen. Das Gerät vor
direkter Sonneneinstrahlung und Witterungseinüssen schützen. Den
Dampfstrahl nicht direkt auf Möbel, Wände oder den Fußboden richten.
Das Gerät während des Betriebs nicht bewegen oder versetzen. Nicht über
das Gerät stolpern.
• Die Entlüftungsönungen nicht verstopfen oder blockieren. Die Luftein-
lässe frei von Staub halten. Sicherstellen, dass keine Gegenstände in die
Entlüftungsönungen fallen können oder gesteckt wurden.
• Bei einem mit Wasserbehälter ausgestatteten Geräten können undichte
Stellen vorkommen. Vor jeder Verwendung sicherstellen, dass der Behäl-
ter nicht beschädigt ist oder Sprünge aufweist.
• Ausschließlich LEITUNGSWASSER verwenden
• Keine Medikamente in den Wasserbehälter oder den Behälter für ätheri-
sche Öle einfüllen. Niemals ätherische Öle in den Wasserbehälter einfül-
len.

• Alle Teile des Geräts müssen wie in der Beschreibung zur Inbetriebnahme
angegeben eingebaut werden.
• Während des Auüllens und Reinigens den Netzstecker des Geräts ziehen.
• Warten bis das Gerät abgekühlt ist und den Netzstecker vor der Reinigung
und dem Auüllen des Behälters mitWasser aus der Steckdose ziehen. Das
verbliebene Wasser ausgießen und den Behälter ausspülen, bevor er er-
neut gefüllt wird.
• Vor dem Lagern des Geräts überprüfen, ob noch Wasser in seinem Inneren
verblieben ist, es sollte vorzugsweise trocken sein.
• Das Gerät regelmäßig "warten und reinigen".
• Der Hersteller, der Verkäufer und der Importeur haften für die Sicherheit,
Zuverlässigkeit und Leistung, vorausgesetzt dass: a) das Gerät gemäß der
Bedienungsanleitung verwendet wird, b) der Stromanschluss, an den das
Gerät angeschlossen wird, mit der geltenden Gesetzgebung überein-
stimmt.
• Reparaturen müssen von einem autorisierten Kundendienst-Zentrum
durchgeführt werden. Ungenehmigte Reparaturen führen zu einem Ver-
lust der Garantieansprüche und können eine elektrische Gefahr darstel-
len.
• Bitte beachten Sie, dass ein hohes Feuchtigkeitslevel das Wachstum von
biologischen Organismen in der Umgebung fördern kann.
• Lassen Sie den Bereich um den Luftbefeuchter herum nicht feucht oder
nass werden. Wenn zu viel Feuchtigkeit entsteht, schalten Sie bitte die
Dampfausgabe des Luftbefeuchters herunter. Falls die Ausgabemenge
des Luftbefeuchters nicht heruntergeschaltet werden kann, verwenden
Sie den Luftbefeuchter mit Unterbrechungen. Achten Sie darauf, dass
saugfähige Materialien wie Teppiche, Vorhänge, Gardinen oder Tischde-
cken nicht feucht werden.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des Geräts beim Auüllen oder Reinigen.
• Lassen Sie nie Wasser im Behälter, wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird.
• Leeren und reinigen Sie den Luftbefeuchter vor dem Wegstellen. Reinigen
Sie den Luftbefeuchter vor der nächsten Benutzung.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass sich das Gerät außer Reichweite von Kindern ben-
det. Dampf und kochendes Wasser können Verbrennungen verursachen.
Dieser Text richtet sich an Verwender außerhalb der Europäischen Union:
- Dieses Gerät ist nicht für eineVerwendung durch Personen (einschließlich
Kindern) mit körperlichen, sensorischen oder mentalen Einschränkungen
oder fehlender Erfahrung und/oder Kenntnis gedacht, es sei denn, sie
werden dabei überwacht oder wurden von einer für ihre Sicherheit ver-
antwortlichen Person in die Bedienung des Geräts eingewiesen.
- Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht
mit dem Gerät spielen.

BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG
1. Vor dem Auüllen des Geräts immer den Netzstecker (2.1) aus der Steckdose ziehen.
2. Zur Entfernung der Heizeinheit (2) siehe (Abb. B), die Heizeinheit nach unten drücken (B1), sie
dabei gleichzeitig gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen (B2) und sie schließlich aus dem Tank (1) her-
ausziehen (B3).
3. Den Behälter (1) mit Leitungswasser bis zur Markierung für den maximalen Füllstand auf dem Be-
hälter (1.1) füllen (Max. 4, 5 Liter).
4. Die Heizeinheit 2 in den Behälter 1 einsetzen.
4.1 Überprüfen, ob die Führungsrippen (2.4) an der Heizeinheit mit den Spalten (1.2) am Behälter
übereinstimmen.
4.2 Nun im bis zum Anschlag im Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
5. WARNHINWEIS: Um einer Beschädigung des Luftbefeuchters vorzubeugen, das ätherische
Öl NICHT DIREKT in den Wasserbehälter (1) GIEßEN. Das ätherische Öl in den Behälter für äthe-
rische Öle (2.2) einfüllen (Abb. E). Den Behälter bis zum angegebenen Füllstand (2.2) füllen und
dabei darauf achten, dass dieser nicht überläuft.
6. Den Netzstecker in die Steckdose mit der angemessenen Spannung stecken, um das Nachtlicht
einzuschalten (2.7).
7. Den Dampfstrahl durch Bewegen der Dampfabgabeklappe (2.3) nach vorn und hinten regulieren
(Abb. F).
8. Wenn sich kein Wasser mehr im Behälter bendet, schaltet sich die ON/OFF- Funktion des Nacht-
lichts (2.7) aus. Den Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät 10 Minuten abkühlen lassen, bevor erneut
mit der ab Punkt 1 beschriebenen Vorgehensweise begonnen wird.
HINWEISE: Während des Betriebs kann ein leichtes Blubbern zu hören sein.
- Der Luftbefeuchter verfügt auch über einen Sicherheitsschalter, der das Gerät ausschaltet,
wenn das Wasser zu Ende geht oder das Gerät während des Betriebs trocken läuft.
- Um den Luftbefeuchter erneut einzuschalten, den Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät 5 Minu-
ten abkühlen lassen. Wasser nachfüllen und erneut ab Punkt 4 beginnen.
WARTUNG UND REINIGUNG
Vor dem Reinigen immer den Netzstecker (2.1) aus der Steckdose ziehen und das Gerät 30 Minuten
abkühlen lassen. Wenn das Gerät für einen längeren Zeitraum nicht verwendet wird, es sauber und
trocken in seiner Schachtel aufbewahren.
ACHTUNG: Es kann zu übermäßigen Kalkablagerungen auf dem Heizwiderstand kommen,
wenn das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß gewartet und gereinigt wird. In Folge kann es dann auch
bei vollem Behälter zu Störungen der Nachtlicht- ON/OFF (EIN/AUS)-Funktion (2.7) kommen.
Tägliche Reinigung/Wartung:
1- Die Heizeinheit (2) durch Drehen und Ziehen nach oben herausnehmen (Abb. B)
2- Den Behälter vollständig entleeren. Sicherstellen, dass dasWasser aus dem Auslass (1.3) läuft (Abb.
G).
3- Vor dem erneuten Füllen den Behälter reinigen und mehrmals mit reichlich Wasser ausspülen.
Sollte es nicht sofort verwendet werden, das Wasser ablassen und das Gerät mit einem Tuch trock-
nen.
Achtung: KEINE Scheuermittel oder Bürsten zur Reinigung verwenden. KEIN Wasser im Behälter las-
sen, wenn das Gerät nicht eingeschaltet ist. Dies verhindert ein Bakterienwachstum im Behälter.
Wöchentliche Reinigung/Wartung:
1- Einmal wöchentlich den Luftbefeuchter wie unter "Tägliche Reinigung" beschrieben reinigen.
2- Reinigen der Heizeinheit Die Heizeinheit in 10 cm einer Lösung aus 50% Wasser und 50% weißem

Reinigung/Wartung am Ende der Anwendungssaison:
1- Den Luftbefeuchter wie unter "Wöchentliche Reinigung" beschrieben reinigen.
2- Den Heizwiderstand (2.6) entkalken. Hierzu den Deckel der Heizeinheit (2.5) durch Drehen gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn abnehmen (Abb. I). Mit einem Haushaltsschwamm die Kalkablagerungen ent-
fernen (Abb. L).
