Einleitung
Wir beglückwünschen Sie zum Kauf Ihres neuen Produkts. Sie haben sich da-
mit für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden. Machen Sie sich vor der ersten
Inbetriebnahme mit dem Produkt vertraut. Lesen Sie hierzu aufmerksam die
nachfolgende Bedienungsanleitung und die Sicherheitshinweise. Benutzen Sie
das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche.
Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung auf. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weiter-
gabe des Produktes an Dritte mit aus.
Sicherheitshinweise
Das Produkt darf ausschließlich zum beidhändigen Schneiden von Sträuchern
im Freien verwendet werden. Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben
und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Das Produkt ist nicht für den ge-
werblichen Einsatz bestimmt.
J Halten Sie Kinder stets vom Produkt fern. Kinder unterschätzen häufig die
Gefahren. Bewahren Sie das Produkt in einem trockenen, geschlossenen
Raum unerreichbar für Kinder auf.

J Stellen Sie vor jedem Gebrauch sicher, dass sich das Produkt in einem
einwandfreien Zustand befindet. Beschädigte oder lockere Teile können
Verletzungen zur Folge haben.
J VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! Berühren Sie die Schneide nicht mit bloßen
Händen.
J Achten Sie auf den festen Sitz der Teleskopstiel-Fixierung. Andernfalls kann
sich die Schere lösen und Verletzungen und/oder Sachschäden verursachen.
J Verwenden Sie beim Gebrauch des Produktes folgende Schutz-
ausrüstung: Tragen Sie eine Schutzbrille, Arbeitsschutzschuhe,
Schutzhandschuhe und Kopfschutz. So schützen Sie sich vor
herabfallenden Astresten und Verletzungen durch Äste und Dornen.
J Achten Sie auf einen sicheren Stand beim Arbeiten. Andernfalls können Ver-
letzungen die Folge sein.
J WARNUNG! Vermeiden Sie Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen
Schlag. Verwenden Sie die Schere nicht in der Nähe von Hoch-
spannungsleitungen, Elektrokabeln, elektrischen Weidezäunen,
etc. Halten Sie zu Hochspannungsleitungen einen Mindestabstand von 10m.
Die Schere ist nicht gegen Stromschläge beim Berühren von Hoch-
spannungsleitungen geschützt.
J VERLETZUNGS- UND ABSTURZGEFAHR! Verwenden Sie
die Schere nicht auf Leitern.
J VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! Ziehen Sie bei Nichtgebrauch eine Schutz-
hülle über die Klingen.

J VORSICHT! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! Die Astschere ist sehr scharf
und gefährlich. Bitte während der Arbeit immer die nötige Vorsicht walten
lassen.
Q
Sägeblatt montieren (s. Abb. B)
Hinweis: Lassen Sie die Schutzhülle auf dem Sägeblatt, während Sie dieses
einsetzen oder abmontieren.
jLösen und entfernen Sie die Fügelschraube und Unterlegscheibe.
jSetzen Sie das Sägeblatt ein.
jFühren Sie die Schrauben durch die vorgesehenen Bohrlöcher des Säge-
blatts.
jSetzen Sie die Unterlegscheibe wieder ein und sichern Sie die Verbindung
mit der Flügelschraube.
Q Astschere verwenden (s. Abb. D)
j Lösen Sie den Arretierstift der Astschere.
j Ziehen Sie den Kunststoffgriff nach unten, um einen Schnitt durchzuführen.
j Sichern Sie den Arretierstift, sobald Sie die Arbeit mit der Astschere beenden.

Q Schnittwinkel einstellen (s. Abb. E)
j Drehen Sie die Drehscheibe im Uhrzeigersinn und wählen Sie eine der
sieben verfügbaren Winkeleinstellungen.
j Drehen Sie die Drehscheibe gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, um diese nach der
Auswahl der Winkeleinstellung zu fixieren.
Hinweis: Achten Sie darauf, dass die Drehscheibe fixiert ist, wenn Sie mit
der Arbeit beginnen.
Q
Teleskopstange verlängern (s. Abb. F)
j Lösen Sie den Arretierstift, um die Teleskopstange verlängern zu können.
j Verlängern Sie die Teleskopstange wie gewünscht.
Hinweis: Die maximale Länge der Kombi-Astschere beträgt 2,77m, die
minimale Länge beträgt 2m.
j Befestigen Sie den Arretierstift gut.
Hinweis: Achten Sie darauf, dass der Arretierstift nach jedem Einstel-
lungsvorgang gut befestigt ist.
Q
Äste schneiden und sägen
j Der Durchmesser der zu schneidenden Äste darf 30mm nicht übersteigen
(siehe Abb. C).

j Für stärkere Äste können Sie die Astsäge verwenden. Die maximale
Sägelänge beträgt 300mm (siehe Abb. C).

Pflegehinweise
j Säubern Sie die Klingen sorgfältig nach jedem Gebrauch. Schmutz und
Saft auf der Klinge führen zu Rostbildung, behindern den Schneidevorgang
und können Pflanzenkrankheiten verbreiten.
j Reiben Sie alle Metallteile mit einem ölhaltigen Tuch ein.
So schützen Sie diese vor Rostablagerungen.
j Eine regelmäßige und sachgemäße Pflege ermöglicht einen jahrelangen
Gebrauch.

Entsorgung
Die Verpackung besteht aus umweltfreundlichen Materialien, die Sie über die
örtlichen Recyclingstellen entsorgen können.
Möglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des ausgedienten Produktes erfahren Sie bei
Ihrer Gemeinde- oder Stadtverwaltung.

Tritt innerhalb von 3 Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material-
oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl –
für Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt
beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind
(z. B. Batterien) und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder

Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a
high quality product. Familiarise yourself with the product before using it for the
first time. In addition, please carefully refer to the operating instructions and the
safety advice below. Only use the product as instructed and only for the indi-
cated field of application. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass
the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the doc-
umentation with it.
Safety advice
The product may only be used for the outdoor two-handed cutting of bushes and
shrubs. Use the product only as described and for the indicated purpose. The
product is not intended for commercial use.
J Always keep the product out of reach of children. Children often underesti-
mate danger. Store the product indoors in an enclosed, dry place where it
cannot be reached by children.
J Check that the product is in perfect condition before each use. Damaged
or loose components may lead to injury.

J DANGER OF INJURY! Never touch the cutting edges with your bare hands.
J Check that the telescopic handles are fixed in place properly. If not the
shears could become loose and cause injury to you or damage to property.
J Use the following personal protective equipment when using the
product: Wear protective glasses, safety boots, protective gloves
and a safety helmet. This should ensure you are protected from
falling pieces of branches and injury from branches and thorns.
J Keep a proper footing and balance otherwise you could become injured.
J WARNING! Avoid danger to life from electric shock. Do not
use the shears near high voltage wires, electricity cables, electric
fences, etc. Keep a minimum distance of 10 m away from high
voltage wires. The shears are not insulated against electric shock resulting
from contact with high voltage wires.
J RISK OF INJURY AND FALLING!
Do not use the shears on ladders.
J DANGER OF INJURY! When not in use put the protective sleeve on the
blades.
J CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! The branch and hedge shears are very
sharp and dangerous. Please exercise due caution at all times when work-
ing with them.

Attaching a saw blade (see Fig. B)
Note: Keep the protective sleeve on the saw during installing or removing it from
the cutter.
j Unscrew and remove the thumbscrew and washer.
j Insert the saw blade.
j Guide the bolts through the holes in the saw blade.
j Re-insert the washer and secure the connection with the thumbscrew.

Using the loppers (see Fig. D)
j Loosen the retaining pin of the loppers.
jPull the plastic handle down to make a cut.
jAs soon as you have finished working with the loppers, secure with the
retaining pin.

Setting the cutting angle (see Fig. E)
jTurn the rotating disc clockwise and choose one of the seven available
angle adjustments.
jTurn the rotating disc anticlockwise to fix it after the angle has been adjusted.
Note: Please ensure that the turning disc is fixed, before starting work.

Extending the telescopic pole (see Fig. F)
j Loosen the retaining pin to be able to extend the telescopic pole.
j Extend the telescopic pole to the desired length.
Note: The maximum length of the combination loppers is 2.77 m, the
minimum length is 2m.
j Fasten the retaining pin well.
Note: Please ensure after each adjustment that the retaining pin is well secured.

Cutting and sawing branches
j Do not cut branches with diameters greater than 30 mm (see Fig. C).
j Use the branch saw for thicker branches. The maximum saw length is
300mm (see Fig. C).

Care advice
j Clean the blades carefully after every use. Dirt and sap on the blades lead
to rust formation, obstruction of the cutting action and plant disease.
j Rub the metal parts with an oiled cloth to protect them from the build up of rust.
j Regular care carried out properly will ensure that your shears will give you
years of use.

Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose
of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose
of your worn-out product.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticu-
lously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal
rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any
way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this
product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the
date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge
to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original
sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of
purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or
used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does
not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered con-
sumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechar-
geable batteries or glass parts.
