We congratulate you on the purchase of your new
device. You have chosen a high quality product. The
instructions for use are part of the product. They
contain important information concerning safety,
use and disposal. Before using the product, please
familiarise yourself with all of the safety information
and instructions for use. Only use the unit as de scribed
and for the specified applications. If you pass the
product on to anyone else, please ensure that you
also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
The tool - normative sabre saw - with fixed stop (shoe)
is intended for cutting wood, plastic and building
materials. The tool is suitable for rough saw cuts,
straight or curved cuts, and flush surface cuts. Used
with the holding bracket the tool is suitable for cut-
ting branches. Please note the information on saw
blades and instructions on sawing. Any other use
or modification of the tool is deemed improper use
with serious risks. The manufacturer is not liable for
damage caused by improper use. The tool is not in-
tended for commercial use.

The vibration level specified in
these instructions was measured in accordance with
an EN 60745 standardised measurement process
and can be used to compare tools. The vibration
emission value specified can also serve as a prelim-
inary assessment of the exposure.
The vibration level will change according to the
application of the power tool and in some cases,
may exceed the value specified in these instructions.
Regularly using the power tool in such a way may
make it easy to underestimate the vibration.
Try to keep the vibration loads as low as possible.
Measures to reduce the vibration load are, e.g.
wearing gloves and limiting the working time. Where-
in all states of operation must be included (e.g. times
when the power tool is switched off and times where
the power tool is switched on but running without
load).
General safety advice for

and instructions! Failure
to observe the safety advice and instructions may
result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Keep all the safety advice and instructions
in a safe place for future reference!
The term “electrical tool” used in the safety advice
refers to electrical tools powered by mains electricity
(by means of a mains lead) and electrical tools pow-
ered by rechargeable batteries (without a mains lead).
1. Workplace safety
a) K eep your working area clean and wel l
lit. Untidy or poorly lit working areas can lead
to accidents.
b) Do not work with the device in poten-
tially explosive environments in which
there are inflammable liquids, gases o r
dusts. Electrical power tools create sparks,
which can ignite dusts or fumes.
c) Keep children and other people away
while you are operating the electrical
tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control
of the device.
2. Electrical safety
a) The mains plug on the power tool (or
on the power supply) must fit the mains
socket. Never modify the plug in any
way. Never use adapter plugs with
earthed power tools. Unmodified plugs
and the correct sockets reduce the risk of elec-
tric shock.
b) Avoid touching earthed surfaces such
as pipes, radiators, ovens and refrig-
erators with any part of your body.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if
your body is earthed.
c) Keep the device away from rain or
moisture. Water entering an electrical device
increases the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not use the mains lead for any pur-
pose for which it was not intended, e. g.
to carry the device, to hang up the de-
vice or to pull the mains plug out of
the mains socket. Keep the mains lead
away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts of the device. Damaged or
tangled mains leads increase the risk of elec-
tric shock.
e) When working outdoors with an elec-
trical power tool always use extension
cables that are also approved for use
outdoors. The use of an extension cable suit-
able for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric
shock.

f) Use a residual current device (RCD) for
protection if operating the electrical
power tool in a moist environment is
unavoidable. The use of an RCD reduces
the risk of electric shock.
3. Personal safety
a) Remain alert at all times, watch what
you are doing and always proceed
with caution. Do not use the device if
you are tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medication. One mo ment
of carelessness when using the device can lead
to serious injury.
b) Wear personal protective equipment
and always wear safety glasses. The
wearing of personal protective equipment such
as dust masks, non-slip safety shoes, safety hel-
mets or ear protectors, appropriate to the type
of electrical power tool used and work under-
taken, reduces the risk of injury.
c) Avoid accidental starting. Verify the po-
wer tool is switched off before connec-
ting it to the mains and / or connecting
the battery, picking it up, or carrying it.
Accidents can happen if you carry the device
with your finger on the ON/OFF switch or with
the device switched on.
d) Remove any setting tools or spanners
before you switch the device on. A tool
or spanner left attached to a rotating part of a
device can lead to injury.
e) Avoid placing your body in an unnat-
ural position. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. By doing this you will
be in a better position to control the device in
unforeseen circumstances.
f) Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear
loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your
hair, clothing and gloves clear of mov-
ing parts. Loose clothing, jewellery or long
hair can become trapped in moving parts.
g) If vacuum dust extraction and collection
devices are fitted do not forget to
check
that they are properly connected and
correctly used. The use of these devices
reduces the hazard presented by dust.
4. Careful handling and use
of electrical power tools
a) Do not overload the device. Always
use an electrical power tool that is
intended for the task you are under-
taking. By using the right electrical power
tool for the job you will work more safely and
achieve a better result.
b) Do not use an electrical power tool if
its switch is defective. An electrical power
tool that can no longer be switched on and off
is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Pull the mains plug out of the socket
and/or remove the rechargeable bat-
terybefore you make any adjustments
to the device, change accessories or
when the device is put away. This pre-
caution is intended to prevent the device from
unintentionally starting.
d) When not in use always ensure that
electrical power tools are kept out of
reach of children. Do not let anyone use
the device if he or she is not familiar
with it or has not read the instructions
and advice. Electrical power tools are dan-
gerous when they are used by inexperienced
people.
e) Look after the device carefully. Check
that moving parts are working prop-
erly and move freely. Check for any
parts that are broken or damaged
enough to detrimentally affect the
functioning of the device. Have dam-
aged parts repaired before you use
the device. Many accidents have their origins
in poorly maintained electrical power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools clean and sharp.
Carefully maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are less likely to jam and are
easier to control.
g) Use the electrical power tool, accesso-
ries, inserted tools etc. in accordance
with these instructions and advice, and

the stipulations drawn up for this par-
ticular type of device. In doing this, take
into account the working conditions
and the task in hand. The use of electrical
power tools for purposes other than those in-
tended can lead to dangerous situations.
5. Use and handling of the cord-
less electrical power tool
a) Charge a rechargeable battery unit
using only the charger recommended
by the manufacturer. Chargers are often
designed for a particular type of rechargeable
battery unit. There is the danger of fire if other
types of rechargeable battery units are used.
b) Only the rechargeable battery units
supplied are to be used with an elec-
trical power tool. The use of other recharge-
able battery units may lead to the danger of
injury or fire.
c) When they are not being used, store
rechargeable battery units away from
paperclips, coins, keys. nails, screws
or other small metal objects that could
cause the contacts to be bridged. Short-
circuiting the contacts of a rechargeable battery
unit may result in heat damage or fire.
d) Fluids may leak out of rechargeable
battery units if they are misused. If this
happens, avoid contact with the fluid.
If contact occurs, flush the affected area
with water. Seek additional medical
help if any of the fluid gets into your
eyes. Escaping battery fluid may cause skin
irritation or burns.
CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION!
The batteries must never be recharged!
Protect the battery against
heat, e.g., against continuous
intense sunlight, fire, water
and moisture. Danger of explo-
sion.
6. Service
a) Have your device repaired at the ser-
vice centre or by qualified specialist
personnel using original manufacturer
parts only. This will ensure that your device
remains safe to use.
Safety notices specific
to sabre saws
To prevent the risk of injury and fire, as
well as health hazards:
Hold the tool by the insulated handles
when performing work where the tool
may hit hidden electrical wires. Contact
with a live wire could cause metal parts of the
tool to become live and lead to electric shock.
Use suitable detectors in order to searc h
for hidden supply lines, or consult your
local power authority. Contact with elec-
tric lines can lead to fire and electric shock.
Damage to a gas line can result in explosion.
Breaking a water line causes property damage.
Keep you hands away from the area
of the saw blade. Do not grip the un-
derside of the work piece. Contact with
the saw blade may result in injury.
Keep hands away from the lifting rod
and the quick-action blade clamp. Con-
tact with components poses a crushing risk.
Always switch on the power tool be-
fore placing it against the work piece.
There is also the risk of kickback if the power
tool becomes caught in the work piece.
Be sure the guide plate touches the
work piece when sawing without
holding bracket. The saw blade could c atch,
resulting in losing control over the power tool.
After finishing work switch off the
power tool and only remove the saw
blade from the cut once it has stopped.
This will prevent kickback and allows you to
safely put down the power tool.
Only use undamaged, defect-free saw
blades. Bent or dull saw blades can brake,
negatively impact the cut or cause kickback.

After switching off do not stop the saw
blade by pressing it sideways against
an object. The saw blade could be damaged,
brake, or cause kickback.
Secure the material well. Do not sup-
port the work piece with your hand or
foot. Do not touch objects or the ground
with the saw running. Risk of kickback.
Secure the work piece. Use clamps or a
vice to firmly hold the work piece. This results
in a safer grip than with your hand.
Wait for the power tool to stop before
putting it down. The tool being used could
catch, resulting in losing control over the pow-
er tool.
Lock the on/off switch to the off posi-
tion before working on the power tool
(e.g. maintenance, tool change, etc.),
and when transporting or storing. Risk
of injury if the on/off switch is accidentally acti-
vated.
Protect the power tool from heat, e.g.
also from continuous sunlight, fire,
water and moisture. Risk of explosion.
Wear the dust mask when using the tool.
Safety notices for chargers
This device may be used by children age 8 years
and up, as well as by persons with reduced phys-
ical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking
experience and/or knowledge, so long as they
are supervised or instructed in the safe use of
the device and understand the associated risks.
Children should not be allowed to play with the
device. Cleaning and user maintenance should
not be performed by children without supervision.
The charger is only suitable for
indoor use.
Do not operate the device if
the cable, mains cable, or plug are damaged. A
damaged mains cable indicates a life-threaten-
ing danger due to electric shock.
Working instructions for sawing
Check the material you wish to cut for foreign
objects such as nails, screws, etc. and remove
these.
Immediately switch off the tool if the saw blade
is jammed. Spread the previously cut slit with a
suitable tool and remove the sabre saw.
Saw the material with an even feed motion.
Original accessories/tools
Use only the accessories specified in
the operating instructions. Using tools or
accessories other than those recommended in
the operating instructions could result in injury.
Information about saw blades
You can use any saw blade, provided it has the
correct shank fitting - ½ (12.7 mm) universal shank.
Saw blades in various lengths optimised for any sa-
bre saw application are available from your retailer.
Note: TPI = teeth per inch = number of teeth per
2.54cm
Before using
Removing/charging/inserting
the battery pack
Note: The battery is partly charged at the time of
delivery. Charge the battery before use. Li-Ion bat-
teries can be charged at any time without reducing
the life. Interrupting the charging process does not
damage the rechargeable battery.
1. To remove the battery pack 3press the release
buttons 4and slide the battery pack 3out
of the tool.
2. Insert the rechargeable battery pack 3into
the rapid charger 12 .
3. Insert the mains plug into the mains socket. The
status LED 14 will light up red.

4. The green status LED 13 shows charging is
completed and the battery pack is 3ready
for use.
5. Slide the battery pack 3into the tool.
Checking the battery charge
Press the test button 16 to check the battery
condition (see Fig. A).
The battery LED 15 indicates the condition and
the remaining charge as follows:
RED/ORANGE/GREEN = maximum
charge/power
RED/ORANGE = medium charge/power
RED = low charge – recharge battery
Attaching/Removing the
holding bracket
Note: The retaining bracket 11 cannot be installed/
removed with the saw blade installed.

(see Fig. B–D):
Press the release button 10 .
Slide the holding bracket over the guides of the
shoe 7into the tool.
Lock the release button 10 .
Removing the holding bracket:
Press the release 10 and pull the holding
bracket 11 forward and out of the guide.
Installing / replacing the
saw blade
Always wear safety gloves when installing /chang-
ing the saw blade.
Turn the quick-release chuck 8all the way in
the direction of the arrow and keep it turned.
Push the selected saw blade all the way into the
quick-action blade clamp 8.
ATTENTION! The teeth on the saw blade 6
must be facing down!

Release the quick-action blade clamp 8, which
must then return to its original position.The saw
blade is now locked.
Start-up
Switching on and off
Switching on:
Press the switch lock 1.
Press the ON-/OFF switch 5.
Switching off:
Release the ON-/OFF switch 5.
Sawing techniques
A) Working without holding bracket
(see Fig. E):
When cutting thicker branches or sawing wood,
plastic or materials, work WITHOUT holding
bracket. The piece to be sawed must touch the
shoe. Use a rocking motion when cutting round
pieces.
A1) Flush cuts:
When using flexible saw blades with the respective
length you can cut protruding pieces, e.g. pipes, flush
with the wall.

2. Apply sideways pressure to the sabre saw,
bending it so the foot plate 7touches the
wall sideways.
3. Switch on the tool and saw through the work
piece, applying consistent pressure.
A2) Plunge sawing (see Fig. F):
CAUTION! RISK OF KICK-BACK! Only
plunge saw soft work pieces (wood, etc.).
1. Place the bottom edge of the sabre saw shoe 7
onto the work piece.
Switch on the tool.
2. Tip the sabre saw forward and plunge the saw
blade into the work piece.
3. Straighten the sabre saw into a vertical posi-
tion and continue cutting along the cutting line.
B) Using the holding bracket (see Fig. G):
Move the saw, applying slight downward pressure.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always disconnect the mains plug from the
socket and remove the battery pack 3before
cleaning.
Always remove the saw blade before working
on the power tool.
Always keep the tool and the ventilation louvres
clean. Clogged ventilation louvres may result in
the tool overheating and/or being damaged.
Clean the tool after finishing work.
Do not allow liquids to enter the tool. Please
use a soft cloth for cleaning the housing. Never
use petrol, solvents or cleaning agents that at-
tack plastic.
Clean the saw blade holder, if necessary using
a brush or blowing out with compressed air.
When storing a lithium-ion battery for extended
periods, regularly check the charge. The optimal
charge is between 50% and 80 %. The optimal
storage climate is cooling and dry.
Service
Only have your tool
repaired by qualified professionals,
and only using original manufacturer
parts. This will maintain the safety of the tool.
Note: Spare parts not listed (e.g. carbon brushes,
switches) can be ordered through our call centre.
Warranty
The warranty for this appliance is for 3
years from the date of purchase. The ap-
pliance has been manufactured with care
and meticulously examined before deliv-
ery. Please retain your receipt as proof
of purchase. In the event of a warranty
claim, please make contact by telephone
with our Service Department. Only in this
way can a post-free despatch for your
goods be assured.
The warranty covers only claims for material and
maufacturing defects, but not for transport damage,
for wearing parts or for damage to fragile compo-
nents, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for pri-
vate use only and is not intended for commercial use.
The warranty is void in the case of abusive and im-
proper handling, use of force and internal tampering
not carried out by our authorized service branch. Your
statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this
warranty.
The warranty period will not be extended by repairs
made unter warranty. This applies also to replaced
and repaired parts. Any damage and defects extant
on purchase must be reported immediately after
unpacking the appliance, at the latest, two days after
the purchase date. Repairs made after the expiration
of the warranty period are subject to payment.

disposed of through your local recycling
facilities.
Do not dispose of power tools

on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its
implementation into national legislation, worn out pow-
er tools must be collected separately and recycled
in an environmentally friendly fashion.
Return the tool to a local recycling facility.

batteries in your household refuse!
Faulty or used rechargeable batteries must be recy-
cled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC.
Return the rechargeable battery pack and/or the
tool via the recycling facilities provided.

Uvod
Iskrene čestitke ob nakupu vaše nove naprave.
Odločili ste se za zelo kakovosten izdelek. To navo-
dilo za uporabo je sestavni del tega izdelka. Vse-
buje pomembna navodila za varnost, uporabo in
odstranitev. Preden začnete izdelek uporabljati, se
seznanite z vsemi navodili za uporabo in varnostni-
mi napotki. Izdelek uporabljajte samo tako, kot je
opisano, in samo za navedena področja uporabe.
Če izdelek odstopite novemu lastniku, mu zraven
izročite tudi vse dokumente.
Predvidena uporaba
Naprava – normativno gledano sabljasta žaga –
je s trdnim omejevalniko (podstavek) predvidena za
žaganje lesa, umetne mase in gradbenega materi-
ala. Naprava je primerna za grobo žaganje, ravne,
vijugaste reze in ravno odreže površino. S pritrjenim
ročajem
je naprava primerna za žaganje vej. Upo-
števajte informacije o sabljasti žagi in delovne na-
potke za žaganje. Kakršna koli drugačna uporaba
ali sprememba stroja velja kot nepredvidena in pred-
stavlja znatno nevarnost nesreč. Za poškodbe, nastal e
zaradi nepredvidene uporabe, proizvajalec ne pre-
vzema odgovornosti. Naprava ni namenjena za
profesionalno uporabo.

Nivo nihanja, ki je naveden
v teh navodilih, je bil merjen skladno z merilnim
postopkom, normiranim po standardu EN 60745
in se ga lahko uporablja za primerjavo naprav.
Navedeno vrednost emisije nihanja lahko uporabite
tudi za uvodno ocene izpostavitve.
Nivo nihanja se bo spreminjal skladno z uporabo
električnega orodja in lahko v nekaterih primerih leži
nad vrednostjo, navedeno v teh navodilih. Kadar
se električno orodje redno uporablja na tak način,
bi nihajno obremenitev lahko podcenili.
Poskusite ohraniti obremenitev zaradi vibracij čim
nižjo. Najboljši ukrep za zmanjšanje obremenitve
zaradi vibracij je nošnja rokavic med uporabo
orodja in omejitev delovnega časa. Pri tem je treba
upoštevati vse dele obratovalnega cikla (npr. čase,
med katerimi je električno orodje izklopljeno, in
čase, ko je sicer orodje vklopljeno, vendar deluje
brez obremenitve).

Neupoštevanje varnostnih opozoril in navodil lahko
vodi do povzročitve električnega udara, požara
in/ali hudih poškodb.
Vsa varnostna opozorila in navodila shra-
nite za uporabo v prihodnje!
V varnostnih navodilih uporabljeni pojem »električno
orodje« se nanaša na električno orodje na omrežni
pogon (s kablom za priključitev na omrežje) in na
električno orodje na akumulatorski pogon (brez
kabla za priključitev na omrežje).
1. Varnost na delovnem mestu
a) Delovno območje naj bo vedno čisto
in dobro osvetljeno. Nered in neosvetljena
delovna področja so lahko vzrok za nezgode.
b) Z orodjem ne delajte v okolici, kjer
obstaja nevarnost eksplozije in v kate-
ri se nahajajo vnetljive tekočine, plini
ali prah. Električna orodja proizvajajo iskri ce,
ki bi lahko povzročile vžig prahu ali pare.
c) Poskrbite, da bodo otroci in druge
osebe med uporabo električnega orod-
ja dovolj oddaljene od mesta upora be.
Če vaša pozornost ni v celoti usmerjena na delo,
lahko izgubite nadzor nad orodjem.
2. Električna varnost
a) Priključni vtič električnega orodja (oz.
napajalnika) mora ustrezati električni
vtičnici. Vtiča v nobenem primeru ne
smete spreminjati. Skupaj z ozemlje-
nimi stroji ne uporabljajte dodatnih
nastavkov vtiča. Originalen nespremenjen
vtič in ustrezna vtičnica zmanjšata tveganje
električnega udara.
b) Preprečite telesni stik z ozemljenimi
površinami, kot so cevi, grelci, štedil-
niki in hladilniki. Obstaja povečano tveganje
električnega udara, če je vaše telo ozemljeno.
c) Preprečite stik orodja z vodo ali vlago.
Vdor vode v električno orodje poveča tveganje
električnega udara.
d) Kabla ne uporabljajte za nošenje
orodja, za obešanje orodja ali za vle-
čenje vtiča iz vtičnice. Kabel zavarujte
pred vročino, olji, ostrimi robovi ali

gibljivim delom orodja. Poškodovani ali
zavozlani kabli povečajo tveganje električne ga
udara.
e) Kadar z električnim orodjem delate na
prostem, uporabljajte samo električne
podaljške, ki so primerni in namenjeni
uporabi na prostem. Uporaba električnega
podaljška, ki je izdelan za uporabo na prostem,
zmanjša tveganje električnega udara.
f) Če se uporabi električnega orodja v
vlažnem okolju ne da izogniti, upora-
bljajte zaščitno stikalo za okvarni tok.
Uporaba zaščitnega stikala za okvarni tok
zmanjša tveganje električnega udara.
3. Varnost oseb
a) Ves čas bodite pozorni, pazite, kaj de-
late in pri delu z električnim orodjem
ravnajte razumno. Orodja ne upora-
bljajte, če ste utrujeni ali če ste pod
vplivom droge, alkohola ali zdravil.
Trenutek nepozornosti med uporabo orodja
lahko povzroči resne poškodbe.
b) Vedno uporabljajte osebno zaščitno
opremo in vedno zaščitna očala. Upo-
raba osebne zaščitne opreme kot so maska za
prah, delovni čevlji z zaščito proti drsenju, za-
ščitna čelada ali zaščita sluha, odvisno od na-
čina uporabe električnega orodja, zmanjšuje
tveganje nastanka poškodb.
c) Preprečite nenameren vklop naprave.
Prepričajte se, ali je električno orodje
izklopljeno, preden ga priključite na
napajanje in / ali akumulator, ga dvi-
gnete ali nosite. Če imate pri nošenju na-
prave prst na stikalu za VKLOP/IZKLOP ali je
naprava vklopljena, to lahko vodi do povzro-
čitve nesreč.
d) Pred vklopom orodja odstranite vsa
orodja, ki jih potrebujete za nastavitve
in vse vijačne ključe. Orodje ali ključ v
vrtečem se delu orodja bi lahko povzročil po-
škodbe.
e) Izogibajte se abnormalni telesni drži.
Skrbite za varno stojišče in pazite na
ravnotežje. Na ta način lahko napravo, še
posebno v nepričakovanih situacijah, bolje
kontrolirate.
f) Oblečeni bodite v primerna oblačila.
Ne nosite širokih oblačil ali nakita.
Poskrbite, da v bližino vrtečih se de-
lov stroja ne pridejo lasje, oblačila in
rokavice. Ohlapna oblačila, nakit ali dolgi
lasje bi se lahko ujeli v premikajoče se dele.
g) Kadar je vgrajena oprema za odsesa-
vanje ali prestrezanje prahu, se pre-
pričajte, da je oprema priključena in
pravilno uporabljena. Uporaba opreme
zmanjša ogrožanje zaradi prahu.
4. Skrbno ravnanje in uporaba
električnega orodja
a) Naprave ne preobremenjujte. Za vaše
delo uporabljajte za to namenjeno
električno orodje. Z ustreznim električnim
orodjem boste v določenem območju zmoglji-
vosti delali bolje in bolj varno.
b) Ne uporabljajte električnega orodja,
čigar stikalo je defektno. Električno orod je,
ki se ne da več vklopiti ali izklopiti, je nevarno
in ga je treba dati v popravilo.
c) Preden izvajate nastavitve na napravi,
zamenjujete dele opreme ali napravo
daste iz rok, izvlecite električni vtič iz
vtičnice in/ali odstranite akumulator.
Ti previdnosti ukrepi preprečujejo nenameren
zagon električnega orodja.
d) Neuporabljano električno orodje hra-
nite zunaj dosega otrok. Osebam, ki
z napravo niso seznanjene ali niso
prebrale teh navodil, uporabe naprave
ne dovolite. Električno orodje je nevarno, če
ga uporabljajo neizkušene osebe.
e) Napravo skrbno negujte. Kontrolirajte,
če premikajoči se deli naprave brezhib-
no delujejo in se ne zatikajo, če so deli
naprave odlomljeni ali poškodovani,
ter da delovanje naprave ni ovirano.
Poškodovane dele dajte pred ponov-
no uporabo naprave v popravilo. Vzrok
za mnoge nesreče je slabo vzdrževano elek-
trično orodje.

f) Poskrbite, da bodo rezalna orodja
vedno ostra in čista. Skrbno vzdrževana
rezalna orodja z ostrimi rezili se ne zatikajo in
so lažje vodljiva.
g) Električna orodja, dodatno opremo,
nastavke itd. uporabljajte v skladu z
navodili za uporabo in na način, ki je
predpisan posebej za ta specialni tip
stroja. Vedno upoštevajte delovne po-
goje in vrsto dela, ki ga želite opraviti.
Uporaba električnih orodij v namene, ki se
razlikujejo od namenov, ki jih je predvidel
proizvajalec, lahko povzroči nastanek nevar-
nih situacij.
5. Uporaba akumulatorskega
orodja in ravnanje z njim
a) Akumulatorje polnite samo v polnilnih
napravah, ki jih je priporočil izdelova-
lec. Za polnilno napravo, ki je namenjena za
določeno vrsto akumulatorjev, obstaja nevarnost
požara, če se jo uporablja z drugimi akumulatorji.
b) V električnem orodju uporabljajte samo
akumulatorje, ki so za to namenjeni.
Uporaba drugih akumulatorjev lahko vodi do
povzročitve poškodb in nevarnosti požara.
c) Akumulatorje, katerih ne uporabljate,
hranite stran od pisarniških sponk,
kovancev, ključev, žebljev, vijakov ali
drugih majhnih kovinskih predmetov, ki
bi lahko povzročili premostitev kontak-
tov. Kratki stik med kontakti akumulatorja ima lah-
ko za posledico povzročitev opeklin ali požara.
d) V primeru napačne uporabe lahko iz
akumulatorja izteče tekočina. Izogi bajte
se kontaktu s to tekočino. V primeru
naključnega kontakta prizadeto mesto
sperite z vodo. Če tekočine pride v oči,
dodatno poiščite tudi zdravniško po moč.
Tekočina, ki izteka iz akumulatorja, lahko pov-
zroči draženje kože ali opekline.

Baterij, ki niso primerne za ponovno polnjenje,
nikoli ne polnite.

Napolnjivo baterijo zaščitite
pred vročino, npr. pred stalnim
sončnim obsevanjem, ognjem,
vodo in vlago. Obstaja nevarnost
eksplozije.
6. Servis
a) Vaše naprave dajte vpopravilo servi-
sni službi ali strokovnjaku za električ-
ne naprave, popravilo pa naj poteka
samo z originalnimi nadomestnimi deli.
Na ta način se zagotovi, da varnost naprave
ostane ohranjena.
Specifična varnostna navodila
za sabljaste žage
Nevarnosti poškodb in požara ter ogro-
žanja zdravja preprečite tako, da:
Kadar izvajate delovne operacije, pri
katerih uporabljeno električno orodje
lahko zadene ob skrito električno na-
peljavo ali lastni priključni kabel, držite
napravo samo na izoliranih površinah
za prijemanje. Stik z vodnikom, ki je pod
napetostjo, lahko premosti napetost na kovinske
dele naprave in povzroči udar električnega toka.
Uporabite primerne iskalne priprave,
da odkrijete skrite oskrbovalne nape-
ljave, ali pa za nasvet povprašajte lo-
kalno podjetje za oskrbo. Stik z električno
napeljavo lahko privede do nastanka ognja in
električnega udara. Poškodba plinske napelja-
ve lahko privede do eksplozije. Vdor v vodo-
vodno napeljavo povzroči materialno škodo.
P azite, da bodo vaše roke izven območja
žaganja. Ne segajte pod obdelovance.
Pri stiku z listom žage obstaja nevarnost poškodb.
Rok ne držite v bližini nihajnega dela
in glave za hitro vpenjanje. Ob stiku s
sestavnimi deli obstaja nevarnost stisnjenja.

Električno orodje pomaknite do obde-
lovanca le, ko je vklopljeno. Drugače
obstaja nevarnost vzvratnega udarca, če se
uporabljeno orodje zatakne v obdelovancu.
Pazite na to, da bo vodilna plošča med
žaganjem vedno pritisnjena k obdelo-
vancu. Žagin list se lahko zatakne, kar lahko
vodi k nadzoru nad električnim orodjem.
Po končanem delu električno orodje
izklopite in list žage odstranite iz reza
šele, ko se popolnoma zaustavi. Tako
preprečite povratni udar in orodje lahko varno
odložite.
Uporabljajte samo nepoškodovane in
brezhibne liste žage. Skrivljeni ali topi,
neostri listi se lahko zlomijo, negativno učinkujejo
na rezanje ali povzročijo povratni udarec.
Lista žage po izklopu ne poskušajte
zaustaviti s pritiskanjem ali stiskanjem
lista. List žage lahko na ta način poškoduje-
te, zlomite ali povzročite povratni udarec.
Trdno vpnite material. Obdelovanca
ne podpirajte z roko ali stopalom. Ne
dotikajte se predmetov ali tal z delujoč o
žago. Obstaja nevarnost povratnega udarca.
Obdelovanec zavarujte. Za fiksiranje ob-
delovanca uporabljajte vpenjalne priprave/
primež. Tako je bolj varno fiksiran, kot v vaši
roki.
Počakajte, da se električno orodje po-
polnoma zaustavi, preden ga odložite.
Žagin list se lahko zatakne, kar lahko vodi k
nadzoru nad električnim orodjem.
Pred vsakim posegom na električnem
orodju (npr. vzdrževanje, menjava
orodja, itd.) ter njegovim prevozom in
shranjevanjem dajte VKLOPNO/IZ-
KLOPNO stikalo v položaja za izklop.
Pri nenamernem vklopu vklopnega/izklopnega
stikala obstaja nevarnost poškodbe.
Električno orodje zaščitite pred vročino,
npr. pred stalnim sončnim obsevanjem,
ognjem, vodo in vlago. Obstaja nevarnost
eksplozije.
Med uporabo naprave nosite masko za zaščito
pred prahom.
Varnostni napotki za
polnilne naprave
To napravo lahko uporabljajo otroci od 8. leta
naprej ter osebe z zmanjšanimi fizičnimi, čutilni-
mi ali duševnimi sposobnostmi ali osebe s po-
manjkanjem izkušenj in/ali znanja, če so pod
nadzorom ali če so bili poučeni o varni upora-
bi naprave in razumejo nevarnosti, do katerih
lahko pride med uporabo. Otroci se ne smejo
igrati z napravo. Otroci ne smejo brez nadzora
izvajati čiščenja in vzdrževanja.
P olnilnik je primeren samo za uporabo
v notranjih prostorih.
Naprave ne uporabljajte, če
je poškodovan kabel, priključni kabel ali priključ-
ni vtič. Poškodovan priključni kabel predstavlja
smrtno nevarnost zaradi udara električnega toka.
Navodila za žaganje
Preglejte obdelovanec za tujki, kot so žeblji,
vijaki itd. in jih odstranite.
Napravo takoj izklopite, če se žagin list zatakn e.
Razširite že urezano režo z ustreznim orodjem
in izvlecite sabljasto žago.
Material žagajte z enakomernim potiskom.

Uporabljajte samo dodatno opremo,
ki je navedena v navodilu za uporabo.
Uporaba drugih orodij ali opreme, kot je nave-
deno v navodilu za uporabo, lahko za vas pred-
stavlja nevarnost poškodb.

Uporabljate lahko vsak list žage, pomembno je le, da
ima na sredini ustrezno - ½ (12,7mm) univerzalno
odprtino. Za vse načine žaganja so v trgovinah na
voljo optimalni listi žage različnih dolžin.
