DESCRIPTION
-The model SM-2703UB is a professional 7-channel mixer. It plays music from smartphones, tablets and
other bluetooth devices. It has an MP3 player with connection port for USB storage devices.
-The mixer inputs supports a wide variety of signals, the controls of each channels allow adjustment of the
different audio source levels, volumes and to obtain a final mix of the audio sources.
-The microphone inputs have phantom power supply (+48 V) via their XLR connectors for condenser
microphones.
-The mixer has an effect section which can be sent to the input signals. The repetition and delay of the effect
can be adjusted. It is also possible to individually send each input channel to the effect section.
-It is a mixer designed for use in live applications, music group sound systems, social events and audio
editing. It can be used in a great variety of applications thanks to its flexibility.
CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
FRONT PANEL
1.- MIC: balanced microphone input with XLR connector and +48 V selectable
power supply.
2.- INSERT: connector (signal output and input) to insert an audio processor
(noise gate, compressor, etc.) in the signal path.
3.- LINE: balanced line level input, 6.3 mm jack connector.
4.- GAIN: gain control of the corresponding channel. Input sensitivity setting.
5.- PAN: balance control. Sends the signal to the left channel (L) or right (R)
of the stereo image of the final mix (MAIN).
6.- HIGH, MID, LOW: three band equalizer per channel. Treble, mid and bass
tone controls with a gain of ±15 dB.
7.- FADER: sliding volume control. Adjusts the signal level of the channel that
is sent to the final mix (MAIN).
8.- AUX: sending of the input channel signal to the mix bus AUX
(PRE-FADER).
9.- EFF: sending of the input channel signal to the mix bus EFF
(POST-FADER).
10.- PEAK: LED peak level indicator. The LED indicator will light up when the
input signal has a high level and is distorted. Adjust the input level with
the GAIN control so that this LED indicator lights up occasionally.

11.- REC: line level output, 2 x RCA connectors. For recording applications.
12.- AUX: unbalanced signal output of AUX bus, 6.3 mm jack connector.
13.- EFFECT: unbalanced signal output of EFF bus, 6.3 mm jack connector.
14.- CH 7/L - CH 7/R: unbalanced line inputs with 6.3 mm jack connectors for the
left (L) and right (R) channel of the stereo image.
15.- GAIN: channel CH 7 and the BT/USB/MP3 player input signal gain control.
16.- USB storage device connection port.
17.- Headphone output, 6.3 mm jack connector.
18.- BT/USB/MP3 player module information display.
19.- MAIN (L, R): unbalanced line level output, 2 x 6.3 mm jack
connectors. The output signal is the final mix.
20.- Controls for the playback of files contained in the USB storage
device. For more information, consult the MP3 Operating module
section.
21.- POWER: mixer LED power indicator. It lights up in red when the
mixer is connected to the power supply.
22.- PHANTOM +48 V: +48 V phantom power supply selector to power
the condenser microphones. The phantom power supply is activated
in the channels CH 1 to CH 6 at the same time. The LED indicator
lights up red when the switch is activated.
23.- LED indicators of the MAIN output signal level (L, R).
24.- REPEAT: control to adjust the number of repetitions of the effect.
25.- DELAY: control to adjust the time interval between the effect
repetitions.
26.- Headphone output volume control.
27.- FADER: sliding volume control. Adjusts the signal level of the final
mix output (MAIN).
28.- AUX: AUX output level control.
29.- EFF: EFF output level control.

BT/USB/MP3 OPERATING MODULE
When the SM-2703UB mixer is connected to the power supply, a menu appears on the screen with 5 options:
1.- Music (MSC): accesses the USB/MP3 player. When a USB storage device is connected, it
automatically accesses this option.
2.- Bluetooth (BT): allows music to be played from smartphones, tablets and other bluetooth devices.
With the bluetooth option activated in your bluetooth device, select the device from the list of
bluetooth devices. At that moment, your bluetooth device will be paired with the device.
3.- Recording (REC): allows a recording to be made of the MAIN output.
4.- (PC): activates the audio interface. Allows playback of audio files from a computer.
Connect the computer via the USB port on the mixer and use it to play MP3 audio files contained in
it. Playback is controlled from the computer.
5.- System (SYS): allows the following mixer parameters to be consulted/modified:
- Date and time
- Backlighting
- Language
- Contrast
- Firmware version
Access each menu with the 12 button, navigate through the options with the {/}buttons and select
the required option with the 12 button.
CONTROLS DURING PLAYBACK
1.- 12: starts/pauses playback.
2.- {: a short press of this button allows moving to the previous track. A long press
allows the volume of MP3 playback to be lowered.
3.- }: a short press of this button allows moving to the next track. A long press
allows the volume of MP3 playback to be increased.
4.- MENU: allows you to choose among the following options:
-Repeat: allows selection of playback mode among the following: all (repeat
all tracks), one (repeat one track) and random (random playback).
-Equalizer: allows selection among the equalizations available: natural, pop,
rock, jazz, classic, country.
- File explorer: displays files (tracks and folders) in a list.
Access each menu with the 12 button, navigate through the options with the
{/}buttons and select the required option with the 12 button.
CONNECTION
-Before making any connections, make sure that all the devices are switched off and disconnected from
the mains.
-Check that all the sliding controls, the gain control of each channel and the MAIN sliding control are at their
minimum.
-Connect the required devices to the channel inputs, use the XLR connector if it is a microphone (MIC) or
the 6.3 mm jack connectors if it is a line level input (LINE).
-Connect the MAIN L/R unbalanced ouput to a line level input on a power amplifier. If you wish, the REC
output can be connected to a recorder.
- If you wish, connect a USB storage device with MP3 files in the corresponding port.
- Connect the devices to the power supply.
-Switch the devices on in this order: firstly the periphery devices such as CD players, followed by the
SM-2703UB mixer and finally, the power amplifier.
