セットアップガイド
使用上の注意
⚫指定電圧以外の電源電圧は使用しないでください。
⚫必ずアースをとってください。
⚫電源コードのプラグおよびコネクターはしっかりと差し込んでください。
⚫内部設定を行う場合は必ず電源を切ってから操作してください。
⚫パネルやカバーを外したままで保管や使用をしないでください。
⚫高温多湿、塵埃が多い、振動がある場所などには設置しないでください。火災や感電の原因になることがあります。
⚫内部に水や異物を入れないでください。万一入った場合は、すぐ電源を切り、電源コードや接続コードを抜いて内
部から取り出すか、販売代理店、サービスセンターへご相談ください。
⚫電源が入らない、異臭がする、異常な音が聞こえるときは、すぐに電源を切り、販売代理店、サービスセンターまでご
連絡ください。

INITIALIZATION を行う際は、必ずバックアップを行ってから実行してください。設定済みのデータは全て初期化され、工
場出荷時設定になります。設定データが全て消えてしまうのをご了承の上、初期化を行ってください。

INITIALIZATION
本体の初期化を行います。下記注意事項をお読みの上、行ってください。
INITIALIZATION ボタンを押しながら電源起動すると実行されます。そのとき
INITIALIZATION ボタンはステータス LED が起動時の全点灯から起動後のステータス表示
に変わるまで押し続けます。
2. セットアップ手順
上の図の番号に沿ってセットアップします。
1電源コードを繋ぎます。同梱の AC コードクランプで抜けないように止めてください。アースも安全
のため必ず接地してください。
2SDI OUT コネクターにモニターやレコーダーなどを接続します。
3SDI IN コネクターにカメラやスイッチャーなどの入力信号を接続します。
4リモート制御に使用する PC のLAN コネクターと LAN ケーブルで接続します。
5前面の電源スイッチを押し電源を入れます。起動時は、前面のステータスパネル（ALARM ステ
ータスを含め）が全て点灯します。起動後は入力信号、オプション搭載状況を反映したステータ
ス表示がされます。
全ての接続を完了させてから、電源を入れてください。
設定変更をした場合は、設定変更後 10 秒間は電源を切らないでください。正常にデータが保存
されない場合があります。
＜操作方法の選択＞
FA-505 には、操作方法が 2通りあります。
シーンに合わせて使い分けてください。
・Windows GUI ・フル操作が可能
・レスポンス速度が速い
・Web GUI ・タブレット端末等で操作が簡単
・設置場所を選ばない
1. 接続・システム図
6PC のネットワーク設定をします。
ローカルエリア接続＞全般＞プロパティ＞全般＞インターネットプロトコル＞プロパティ
で、IP アドレス、サブネットマスクを設定します。
PC の
IP アドレス
192.168.0.xxx （xxx は本体に設定した値およびゲートウェ
イの番号を除く 1～254 の任意の値です。）
サブネットマスク
255.255.255.0 に設定します。
※FA-505 の工場出荷時 IP アドレスは 192.168.0.10 です。
＜Windows GUI の場合＞
7インストーラを起動します。
FA-505GUI フォルダーを開き、Setup アイコンをダブルクリックして、セットアップウィザ
ードを実行します。
GUI が起動し、画面が開いたら、FA-505 のIP アドレスを入力し、Select 欄の番
号ボタンで接続するユニットを選択します。Connect ボタンをクリックすると、FA-505
に接続します。
＜Web GUI の場合＞
7端末にある Web ブラウザーを起動してください。
起動したブラウザーのアドレスバーに接続先の FA-505 のIP アドレスを入力してくだ
さい。

バージョン確認
(1) FA-505 と端末を無線 LAN または有線 LAN で接続しま
す。
(2) FA-505 のIP アドレスを、ブラウザーのアドレスバーに入力
します。
(工場出荷時の IP アドレス: 192.168.0.10)
(3) Software にバージョンが表示されます。
朋栄 HP へアクセスし、メールアドレスを登録して、
FA-505 のページから本体の S/W バージョンに合った
GUI 等のソフトウェア、取扱説明書、各種資料を
ダウンロードしてください。(本用紙「バージョン確認」参照)

Quick Setup Guide
Precautions
⚫Operate the unit only at the specified supply voltage.
⚫Ensure the unit is properly grounded at all times.
⚫Ensure the power cord and connectors are firmly connected.
⚫Do not access circuitry with power applied to the unit.
⚫Unit should not be operated or stored with the cover, panels, and/or casing removed.
⚫Unit should not be operated or stored in a humid, dusty, etc. environment. Doing so could
result in fire or electrical shock.
⚫Do not allow fluids, metal fragments, or any other foreign objects to enter the unit. If foreign
matter does enter the unit, turn the power off and disconnect the power cord immediately.

⚫If you notice any strange smells or noises coming from the unit, turn the power off immediately,
turn OFF the power switch, disconnect the power cord, then contact your authorized service
representative.
3. Front Panel Indicators
All setting data will initialize. Back up before executing a reinitialization.
2. Setup Procedure
The procedure is shown numbered in the above figure.
1Apply DC power to the FA-505 using the supplied AC cord. Secure the cord with the
supplied AC cord retaining clip.
Ground the unit for your safety.
2Connect monitors and/or recorders to the SDI OUT connectors.
3Connect signal source devices such as video cameras and/or switchers, to the SDI IN
connectors.
4Connect a PC to be used for remote control to the FA-505 LAN connector using a LAN
cable.
5Turn the power of the FA-505 on. When the FA-505 is powered on, all LEDs on the front
panel, including Alarm indicators light. Once startup is complete, current status will be
indicated.
Complete connections before turning the power of the unit on.
After a setting change, do not turn the unit power off for at least 10 seconds.
The setting data may otherwise not save properly.

The FA-505 offers you 2 control systems allowing you to choose in different situations.
Windows GUI
- Enables full control over the FA-505
- Quicker response compare to the Web GUI
Web GUI
- Easy operation on tablet PC or PC
- No space required
1. Connection and System Configuration
6Change the PC network settings for the connection with the FA-505.
Go to Local Area Connection > General > Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP) > General > Properties, then set the IP address and
Subnet mask to match that of the FA-505.
PC IP address
192.168.0.xxx （xxx is any number from 1 to 254
except for the number set for the FA-505 unit and
gateway number.）
Subnet mask
Set to 255.255.255.0.
*192.168.0.10 is the default IP address.
<To start up Windows GUI>
7Install the software, FA-505 GUI.
Open the FA-505GUI folder. Double-click the Setup icon to start the
setup wizard.
Once the GUI starts up and a GUI page opens, enter the FA-505 IP
address to register the unit. Click a number under Select to select a
unit, then click Connect to establish a connection with the FA-505.
<To start up Web GUI>
7Start a web browser on the PC.
Enter the FA-505 IP address into the web browser address bar.

INITIALIZATION
Used to reinitialize the unit. Read the WARNING below before proceding.
To reinitialize the unit, turn the unit on while holding down the
INITIALIZATION button. Continue pressing the button until all LEDs that
light together at startup indicate their current status.

Check Version
(1) Connect FA-505 and a terminal device via LAN
(wired or wireless)
(2) Enter the FA-505 IP address in the address bar of
web browser.(Default: 162.168.0.10)
(3) The FA-505 software version is displayed.

go to the FA-505 page. Download the GUI and other
software, manuals and materials that match
your FA-505 Software version.
