1. Work Area
a) Keep your work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered benches and dark areas invite
accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in
explosive atmospheres, such as in the
presence of ammable liquids, gases,
or dust. Power tools create sparks which
may ignite the dust or fumes.
c) Keep bystanders, children, and
visitors away while operating a power
tool. Distractions can cause you to lose
control. Protect others in the work area
from debris such as chips and sparks.
Provide barriers or shields as needed.
2. Electric Safety
a) Double Insulated tools are equipped
with a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other.) This power plug
will t in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not t fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not t,
contact a qualied electrician to install a
polarized outlet. Do not change the plug
in any way. Double Insulation eliminates
the need for the three wire grounded
power cord and grounded power supply
system.
b) Avoid body contact with grounded
surfaces such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an
increased risk of electric shock if your
body is grounded.
c) Don’t expose power tools to rain or
wet conditions. Water entering a power
tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the
cord to carry the tools or pull the plug
from an outlet. Keep cord away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Replace damaged cords immediately.
Damaged cords increase the risk of
electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outside,
use an outdoor extension cord marked
“W-A” or “W”. These cords are rated
for outdoor use and reduce the risk of
electric shock.
3. Personal Safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are
doing, and use common sense when
operating a power tool. Do not use
tool while tired or under the inuence of
drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment
of inattention while operating power tools
may result in serious personal injury.
b) Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair.
Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewelry, or long hair can be caught in
moving parts.
c) Avoid accidental starting. Be sure
switch is off before plugging in.
Carrying tools with your nger on the
switch or plugging in tools with the switch
on invites accidents.
d) Remove adjusting keys or switches
before turning the tool on. A wrench
or a key that is left attached to a rotating
part of the tool may result in personal
injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing
and balance at all times. Proper footing
and balance enables better control of the
tool in unexpected situations.
f) Use safety equipment. Always wear
eye protection. Dust mask, non-skid
safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing
protection must be used for appropriate
conditions.
4. Tool Use and Care
a) Use clamps or other practical way to
secure and support the work piece to
a stable platform. Holding the work by
hand or against your body is unstable and
may lead to loss of control.
b) Do not force tool. Use the correct tool
for your application. The correct tool will
do the job better and safer at the rate for
which it is designed.
c) Do not use tool if switch does not
turn it on or off. Any tool that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous
and must be repaired.

d) Disconnect the plug from the
power source before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or
storing the tool. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the
tool accidentally.
e) Store idle tools out of reach of
children and other untrained persons.
Tools are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
f) Maintain tools with care. Keep cutting
tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained tools with sharp cutting edge
are less likely to bind and are easier
to control. Do not use a damaged tool.
Tag damaged tools “Do not use” until
repaired.
g) Check for misalignment or binding
of moving parts, breakage of parts,
and any other condition that may
affect the tool’s operation. If damaged,
have the tool serviced before using.
Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained tools.
h) Use only accessories that are
recommended by the manufacturer
for your model. Accessories that may
be suitable for one tool may become
hazardous when used on another tool.
5. Service
a) Tool service must be performed only
by qualied repair personnel. Service
or maintenance performed by unqualied
personnel could result in a risk of injury.

instructions in the Maintenance section of

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1 - Keep work area clear

a) Do not expose tools to rain.

3 - Guard against electric shock
a) Avoid body contact with earthed or
grounded surfaces (e.g. pipes, radiators,
ranges, refrigerators).
4 - Keep other persons away
a) Do not let persons, especially children,
not involved in the work touch the tool or
the extension cord and keep them away
from the work area.
5 - Store idle tools
a) When not in use, tools should be stored
in a dry locked-up place, out of reach of
children.
6 - Do not force the tool
a) It will do the job better and safer at the
rate for which it was intended.
7 - Use the right tool
a) Do not force small tools to do the job of a
heavy duty tool.

a) If the tool is provided for the connection of
dust extraction and collecting equipment,
ensure these are connected and properly

a) Never yank the cord to disconnect it from
the socket. Keep the cord away from
heat, oil and sharp edges.
12 - Secure work
a) Where possible use clamps or a vice to
hold the work. It is safer than using your
hand.
13 - Do not overreach
a) Keep proper footing and balance at all
times.
14 - Maintain tools with care
a) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean for
better and safer performance.
b) Follow instruction for lubricating and
changing accessories.
c) Inspect tool cords periodically and if
damaged have them repaired by an
authorized service facility.
d) Inspect extension cords periodically and
replace if damaged.
e) Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil
and grease.
15 - Disconnect tools
a) When not in use, before servicing and
when changing accessories such as
blades, bits and cutters, disconnect tools
from the power supply.
16 - Remove adjusting keys and
wrenches
a) Form the habit of checking to see
that keys and adjusting wrenches are
removed from the tool before turning it
on.
17 - Avoid unintentional starting
a) Ensure switch is in “off” position when
plugging in.
18 - Use outdoor extension leads
a) When the tool is used outdoors, use only
extension cords intended for outdoor use
and so marked.

19 - Stay alert
a) Watch what you are doing, use common
sense and do not operate the tool when
you are tired.
20 - Check damaged parts
a) Before further use of tool, it should be
carefully checked to determine that it will
operate properly and perform its intended
function.
b) Check for alignment of moving parts,
binding of moving parts, breakage of
parts, mounting and any other conditions
that may affect its operation.
c) A guard or other part that is damaged
should be properly repaired or replaced
by an authorized service centre unless
otherwise indicated in this instruction
manual.
d) Have defective switches replaced by an
authorized service centre.
e) Do not use the tool if the switch does not
turn it on and off.
21 - Warning
a) The use of any accessory or attachment
other than one recommended in this
instruction manual may present a risk of
personal injury.
22 - Have your tool repaired by a
qualied person
a) This electric tool complies with the
relevant safety rules. Repairs should only
be carried out by qualied persons using
original spare parts, otherwise this may
result in considerable danger to the user.
Hold power tool by insulated gripping
surfaces when performing an operation
where the cutting tools may contact
hidden wiring. Contact with a “live” wire will
make exposed metal parts of the tool “live” and
shock the operator. Do not drill, fasten or break
into existing walls or other blind areas where
electrical wiring may exist. If this situation is
unavoidable, disconnect all fuses or circuit
breakers feeding this worksite.
Use clamps or another practical way to
secure and support the workpiece to a
stable platform. Holding the work by hand or
against your body leaves it unstable and may
lead to loss of control.
Use a metal detector to determine if there
are gas or water pipes hidden in the work
area or call the local utility company for
assistance before beginning the operation.
Striking or cutting into a gas line will result in
explosion. Water entering an electrical device
may cause electrocution.
Always hold the tool rmly with both hands
for maximum control. Keep proper footing
and balance at all times. This enables better
control of the power tool in unexpected
situations.
Keep hands away from cutting area. Do
not reach under the material being cut. The
proximity of the blade to your hand is hidden
from your sight.
Do not use dull or damaged blades. Bent
blade can break easily or cause kickback.
Exercise extreme caution when handling
the accessories. The accessories are very
sharp.
Wear protective gloves when changing
cutting accessories. Accessories become
hot after prolonged usage.
Use thick cushioned gloves and limit the
exposure time by taking frequent rest
periods. Vibration caused by the tool may be
harmful to the hands and arms.
Before scraping, check workpiece for nails.
If there are nails, either remove them or set
them well below intended nished surface.
Striking a nail with accessory edge could
cause the tool to jump.
Do not wet sand with this tool. Liquids
entering the motor housing is an electrical
shock hazard.
Never work in area which is soaked with a
liquid, such as a solvent or water, or
dampened such as newly applied
wallpaper. There is an electrical shock
hazard when working in such conditions with a
power tool and heating of the liquid caused by
scraping action may cause harmful vapors to
be emitted from workpiece.
Always wear eye protection and a dust
mask for dusty applications and when
sanding overhead.

SAFETY RULES FOR MULTI PURPOSE TOOL
GETTING STARTED
1. Accessories
a) The multi purpose tool is supplied with the following accessories:
Stainless Steel Saw Blade
Fixed Scraper Blade
Sander Paper Fixing Plate
Sanding particles can be absorbed by your
eyes and inhaled easily and may cause health
complications.
Use special precautions when sanding
chemically pressure treated lumber, paint
that may be lead based, or any other
materials that may contain carcinogens.
A suitable breathing respirator and protective
clothing must be worn by all persons entering
the work area. Work area should be sealed
by plastic sheeting and persons not protected
should be kept out until work area is
thoroughly cleaned.
Do not use sandpaper intended for larger
sanding pads. Larger sandpaper will extend
beyond the sanding pad causing snagging,
tearing of the paper or kick-back. Extra paper
extending beyond the sanding pad can also
cause serious lacerations.
SYMBOLS
The rating plate on your tool may show symbols. These represent
important information about the product or instructions on its use.

GETTING STARTED
OPERATION
Mounting the tool
For adjustment of the most convenient
working position, the application tool
can be mounted in 45° steps.
1. Unscrew the clamping screw (9).
2. Clean the tool holder (1), the
application tool and the clamping
screw (9).
3. Place the application tool exactly onto
the star-shaped tool accessory holder
(4). Pay attention that the application
tool has a ush t.
4. Tighten the clamping screw (9) using
the supplied Allen key (10).
Mounting the dust extractor
1. Mount the suction device step by step
as shown in the gures.
2. For connection with a Dustex or
a vacuum cleaner, various hose
adapters are available as an
accessory.
3. To remove the suction device again,
push the clamp at the mark to the rear.
Intended use.
The oscillating movement of your
“multi purpose power tool”has distinct
advantages which no other electric
power tool can offer:
1. No recoil when sanding in corners and
along edges.
2. High cutting performance right into the
corner.
3. Minimum operating noise without
independent movement of power tool.
The oscillating movement transforms
your multi-purpose power tool:
Switching On and Off
First check that the cable and plug are
not damaged.
Switching the power tool ON:
Slide switch(2)forwards (I).
Switching the power tool OFF:
Slide switch (2)backwards(0).
The tools is switched “ON” by the slide
switch located on the topside of the motor
housing.
WARNING! Hold the tool rmly while starting
the tool, since torque from the motor can
cause the tool to twist.
Speed setting
The device is equipped with an electrical
speed adjustor. The adjusting disk is
marked with gures: “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6”. You
can increase the speed when you turn to
higher number. To decrease the speed, turn
the adjusting to lower number.

within a millimeter
b) Can be plunged at any point into
the workpiece
c) Cutting depth automatically
determined.

2. Scraping
a) Minimum effort required.

OPERATION
Machining method
Sanding
1. Materials:Wood,paint,metal,stone.
2. Typical application:
a) Sanding small areas,particularly in
corners,along edges and in areas
which are difcult to access.
b) Sanding down and stripping window
frames,furniture,railings,etc.
c) Sanding rust off vehicles.
d) Also random orbit,belt or
orbital sander for sanding
doors,gates,boats,wooden
oors,wooden stairs,etc.
3. Operating tips:
a) When sanding,move the power
tool continuously and applylight
pressure.
b) Work with the sanding pad at on
the material;do not work with just the
point.
c) Do not apply excessive pressure;this
will not increase the cutting
performance,but will simply wear out
the sanding pad quicher.
d) Select a high vibration frequency,the
power tool is adjustable.
Sawing with the saw blade
1. Typical application: wood, plastics,
sheet metal.
2. Select high oscillation frequency.
3. The saw blade lasts longer if the wear
is distributed evenly. To ensure an even
distribution, loosen the saw blade, turn it
round a little and then tighten again rmly.
Sawing with the E-Cut saw blade
1. Before sawing make sure that no live
cables will be damaged.
2. The workpiece must be inserted
rmly or clamped tightly before it is
processed.
3. Typical application: wood, plaster
board and soft plastics. Not suitable for
metal (e. g. nails) and stone.
4. Only clamp the E-Cut saw blade and
saw in a straight position. For xation
use a tightening screw with a large disc.
Carefully remove the protective coating.
5. Always set the E-Cut saw blade
straight (at 90°) and guide it in the gap
without tilting. Always guide the E-Cut
saw blade along the cutting line without
exerting any pressure.
6. When plunging and sawing with
a slight pendulum motion, make
sure that sufcient chip removal is
provided for.
7. Keep a certain distance away from
hard metals (stone/metal) (approx. 3
mm), since there is increased danger
of the outer saw teeth breaking off.
Scraping
1. Typical application:
With rigid scraper
a) Removing damaged coatings,e.g.pai
nt,adhesives,underseal.
b) Removing carpet adhesive
residue(e.g.on stairs or other small
to mediumsized areas).
2. With exible scraper
a) Light scraping work.
b) Removing stickers from glass
surfaces.
c) Removing old silicone ller
WARNING!
The sawing teeth are very sharp.
Do not touch during mounting
and application.Before sawing
make sure that no live cables will
be damaged. The workpiece must
be inserted rmly or clamped tightly
before it is processed.

3. Operating tips:
a) When scraping soft
material(e.g.wood),keep the scraper
at on the surface and apply light
pressure,otherwise the scraper may
cut into the material(diagram).if
required,clamp the scraper the other
way round;this reduces scraping
pressure.
b) If required,sharpen the scraper
blade: While the power tool is
running,hold the scraper against a
whetstone or abrasive paper.
c) Select a high vibration frequency (if
power tool is adjustable).
Rasping.
Materials:
Plaster,cement,tile
adhesive,ller,brick,wood.
Typical applications:
1. Rough sanding plaster,cement,tile
adhesive.
2. Removing oil stains from the
garage oor.
3. Rough sanding wood or ller.
4. Sculpting natural and articial
stone or carving wood.
Operating tips:
1. Caution when working on
sensitive surfaces! A tungsten-
carbide rasp has a high cutting
performance on painted wooden
surfaces.
2. Sand the surface,continuously
moving the power tool and
applying medium to high pressure.
3. Select a high vibration frequency ,
power tool is adjustable.
4. If required,clean the tungsten-
carbide rasp with a wire brush
while the power tool is running.
Cutting (grinding wheel)
Typical applications:
With diamond saw blade
1. Removing marble.trass,epoxy
resin grout from between tiled
surfaces
2. Repairs to tiled surfaces indoors
and outdoors.
3. Making cuts in plaster,brick
walls,pumice,porous concrete and
breeze blocks.
4. With diamond segmental saw
blade
5. As above,however can also
be used in corners without
overcutting.
Operating tips:
1. Select a high vibration
frequency,(if power tool is
adjustable).
Polishing
Materials:
Marble,granite,gneiss,articial
stone,chromium,brass,bronze.
Gelcoat coatings on boats.
Typical applications:
1. Windows-sills,stairs,stone oors.
2. Car,motorcycle,boat.
Operating tips:
1. Apply a little polish which is
compatible with the material(see
table). Before polishing marble,test
polish in an inconspicuous area
(possible discoloration).
2. Operate the power tool in slow
circular movements.
3. Select a high contact pressure and
vibration frequency for stone and
metal.
4. Polish Gelcoat coatings carefully
at a low contact pressure and
vibration frequency.
5. Then remove residual polish with
a soft cloth.
6. For an optimum gloss nish
repolish with a second, dry felt
polishing pad.

Please hand these operating instructions
to the repair centre. An overview of spare
parts can be found at the end of these
operating instructions.
Upon request a repair manual is sent to
the electrical engineers.
Only use original FORCE spare parts.
Changing the sanding sheet .
With fast Velcro xation.
1. Position the sanding sheet and
press on by hand.
2. Press on the sanding sheet by
giving it a short, rm push against
a at surface and switch on the
power tool.
3. This ensures good adhesion and
prevents premature wear.
4. If the point has become worn,
pull off the sanding sheet, turn it
through 120° and place it on again,
or change the sanding sheet.
Maintenance
1. Regular cleaning.
2. Carry out the following steps once
a week, or more often if used
frequently:
a) Clean the cooling air vents.
b) Use non-metallic tools to clean the
air vents.
c) Blow out the interior of the power
tool from outside through the air
vents with dry, compressed air.

2. Seguridad Eléctrica

a) Esté alerta, concéntrese en lo que está
haciendo y recurra al sentido común
cuando maneje una herramienta
eléctrica. No la utilice si se encuentra
fatigado o bajo la inuencia de drogas,
alcohol o medicamentos. Un momento
de distracción puede ocasionar lesiones
graves.
b) Vístase de manera adecuada. No
utilice ropa suelta o artículos de
joyería. Recójase el cabello largo.
Mantenga su cabello, ropa y guantes
alejados de las piezas móviles. Las
prendas de vestir sueltas, los artículos de
joyería y el cabello largo pueden quedar
atrapados en piezas móviles.
c) Evite el encendido accidental.
Asegúrese de que el interruptor
esté apagado antes de enchufar la
herramienta. Transportar herramientas
con el dedo apoyado en el interruptor o
enchufarlas con el interruptor encendido
puede provocar accidentes.
d) Retire las llaves de ajuste antes de
encender la herramienta. Si se deja
una llave en una pieza giratoria de la
herramienta puede ocasionar lesiones
personales.
e) No se estire demasiado. Mantenga
en todo momento el equilibrio y una
postura correcta. Esto permite un mejor
control de la herramienta eléctrica en
situaciones inesperadas.

f) Utilice equipos de seguridad. Siempre
use protección ocular. Para contar con
las condiciones adecuadas, se debe
hacer uso de máscaras para polvo,
calzado de seguridad antideslizante,
cascos y protección auditiva.
4. Uso y Cuidado
a) Utilice abrazaderas u otro método
práctico para apoyar y sujetar con
rmeza la pieza de trabajo en una
plataforma estable. Nunca lo sujete con
las manos ni contra su cuerpo, esto es
inestable y podría provocar la pérdida de
control de la herramienta.
b) No fuerce la herramienta. Utilice la
herramienta que sea adecuada para su
aplicación. La herramienta correcta hará
el trabajo mejor y de forma más segura si
se la utiliza a la velocidad para la cual fue
diseñada.
c) No use la herramienta si no puede
encenderla y apagarla con el
interruptor. Toda herramienta eléctrica
que no pueda ser controlada mediante
el interruptor es peligrosa y debe ser
reparada.
d) Desconecte el enchufe de la fuente
de energía antes de realizar ajustes,
cambiar accesorios o almacenar la
herramienta eléctrica. Estas medidas de
seguridad preventivas reducen el riesgo
de encender la herramienta eléctrica en
forma accidental.
e) Guarde las herramientas eléctricas
que no estén en uso fuera del
alcance de niños y personas que no
estén familiarizadas con ella. Las
herramientas son peligrosas en manos
de personas inexpertas.
f) Realice un mantenimiento cuidadoso
de las herramientas. Mantenga limpias
y aladas las herramientas de corte.
Las herramientas que cuentan con un
buen mantenimiento y el borde de corte
alado tienen menos probabilidades de
atascarse y son más fáciles de controlar.
No utilice una herramienta dañada.
Coloque una etiqueta en las herramientas
dañadas que diga “No usar” hasta que
sean reparadas.
g) Controle que no haya piezas móviles
mal alineadas o trabadas, piezas
rotas o cualquier otra situación que
pueda afectar el funcionamiento de
la herramienta. Si la herramienta
eléctrica se avería, hágala reparar
antes de volver a utilizarla. Muchos
accidentes se producen a causa de
un mantenimiento inadecuado de las
herramientas.
h) Utilice únicamente los accesorios
que el fabricante recomienda para su
modelo. Algunos accesorios que son
adecuados para una herramienta pueden
ser peligrosos si se utilizan en otra.
5. Servicio
a) Las reparaciones deben ser realizadas
únicamente por personal calicado.
Si las reparaciones o el mantenimiento
los lleva a cabo personal no calicado
podrían producirse lesiones.
b) Cuando se repara una herramienta
deben utilizarse únicamente repuestos
idénticos. Siga las instrucciones de
la sección de este manual llamada
‘Mantenimiento’. El uso de piezas no
autorizadas o el incumplimiento de las
instrucciones de mantenimiento pueden
provocar una descarga eléctrica o
lesiones.

3 - Protección contra descargas

a) Mantenga a los niños alejados. No
permita que las visitas entren en
contacto con la herramienta o el cable
prolongador. Todas las visitas deben
alejarse del área de trabajo.
5 - Guarde las herramientas que no
estén en uso
a) Cuando las herramientas no están siendo
utilizadas deben guardarse en un lugar
seco y cerrado, fuera del alcance de los
niños.
6 - No fuerce la herramienta
a) Hará el trabajo mejor y de forma más
segura si se la utiliza a la velocidad para
la cual fue diseñada.
7 - Use la herramienta adecuada
a) No fuerce herramientas pequeñas a
hacer el trabajo de una herramienta de
trabajo pesado.
b) No utilice una herramienta para nes no
previstos, por ejemplo: no utilizar sierras
circulares para cortar ramas o troncos de
árboles.
8 - Vístase de manera adecuada
a) No use ropas holgadas, pueden
atascarse en las piezas en movimiento.
b) Para trabajos al aire libre se recomienda
el uso de calzado antideslizante.
c) Use una redecilla para el cabello largo.
9 - Utilice equipos de protección
a) Utilice gafas de seguridad.
b) Utilice máscaras antipolvo si las
operaciones generan polvillo.
10 - Conecte equipos de extracción de
polvo
a) Si la herramienta se proporciona para
la conexión de equipos de aspiración
y recolección de polvo, asegúrese
de que estén conectados y se usen
correctamente.
11 - No fuerce el cable
a) Nunca tire del cable para desconectarlo
de la toma. Mantenga el cable alejado del
calor, el aceite y los bordes alados.
12 - Sujete la pieza de trabajo
a) Siempre que sea posible, utilice
abrazaderas o una prensa para sujetar
el trabajo. Es más seguro que usar las

Si están dañados, llévelos a un centro de

15 - Desconecte las herramientas
a) Desenchufe las herramientas cuando
no las utilice, antes del mantenimiento y
cuando cambie accesorios (por ejemplo:

REGLAS DE SEGURIDAD PARA LA HERRAMIENTA MULTIUSO
16 - Retire las llaves de ajuste
a) Adquiera el hábito de vericar que
las llaves de ajuste se quiten de la
herramienta antes de encenderla.
17 - Evite el arranque accidental
a) Asegúrese de que el interruptor esté
en la posición “off” cuando enchufe la
herramienta.
18 - Utilice cables prolongadores
a) Cuando deba usar la herramienta al
aire libre, utilice únicamente cables
prolongadores para intemperie.
19 - Esté atento
a) Observe lo que está haciendo, use
el sentido común y si está cansado
no pongan en funcionamiento la
herramienta.
20 - Verique si hay piezas dañadas
a) Antes de volver a utilizar la herramienta,
revísela cuidadosamente para determinar
si funcionará apropiadamente y cumplirá
con su función.
b) Controle que no haya piezas móviles
mal alineadas o trabadas, piezas
rotas o cualquier otra situación que
pueda afectar el funcionamiento de la
herramienta.
c) Un protector o alguna otra pieza que esté
dañada debe ser reparada o sustituida
por un centro de mantenimiento
autorizado, a menos que se indique
lo contrario en este manual de
instrucciones.
d) Procure que los interruptores defectuosos
sean reemplazados por un centro de
mantenimiento autorizado.
e) No use la herramienta si no puede
encenderla y apagarla con el interruptor.
21 - Advertencia
a) El uso de accesorios que no hayan
sido recomendados en este manual de
instrucciones puede presentar un riesgo
de lesiones personales.
22 - Haga que su herramienta sea
reparada por una persona calicada
a) Esta herramienta eléctrica cumple con
las normas de seguridad pertinentes.
Las reparaciones deben ser efectuadas
por personal calicado y con repuestos
originales, de lo contrario esto puede
suponer un peligro considerable para el
usuario.
Cuando realice una operación en la cual
la herramienta de corte pueda entrar en
contacto con cables ocultos, sostenga la
herramienta eléctrica por las supercies
con aislamiento. El contacto con un cable
con corriente hará que las partes metálicas
queden electricadas y el operador recibirá
una descarga eléctrica. No perfore, sujete
o rompa paredes existentes u otras zonas
ciegas donde pueda existir cableado eléctrico.
Si esta situación es inevitable, desconecte
todos los fusibles o interruptores de circuito
que alimenten este lugar de trabajo.
Utilice abrazaderas u otra forma
práctica de jar la pieza de trabajo en una
plataforma estable. La pieza queda inestable
si se sujeta con la mano o contra el cuerpo y
puede provocar la pérdida de control.
Utilice un detector de metales para
determinar si hay tuberías ocultas de gas
o de agua en el área de trabajo o llame a
la compañía local de servicios para recibir
ayuda antes de comenzar la operación.
Si se golpea o corta una tubería de gas puede
producirse una explosión. Si entra agua
en un aparato eléctrico puede causar una
electrocución.
Siempre sostenga rmemente la
herramienta con ambas manos para
tener el máximo control. Mantenga el
equilibrio y una postura correcta en todo
momento. Esto permite un mejor control
de la herramienta eléctrica en situaciones
imprevistas.
Mantenga las manos alejadas del área
de corte. No ponga la mano por debajo
del material a cortar. No podrá observar la
proximidad de la hoja con respecto a su mano.
No utilice hojas desaladas o dañadas. Una
hoja torcida puede romperse con facilidad o
producir un contragolpe.
Tenga mucho cuidado al manejar los
accesorios ya que son muy losos.
Utilice guantes de protección cuando deba
cambiarlos.
Los accesorios se calientan si se usan
durante un período de tiempo prolongado.
Utilice guantes gruesos acolchados y limite el
tiempo de exposición tomando períodos de
descanso frecuentes.

REGLAS DE SEGURIDAD PARA LA HERRAMIENTA MULTIUSO
INTRODUCCIÓN
1. Accesorios
a) La herramienta multiuso se suministra con los siguientes accesorios:
hoja de sierra de acero inoxidable placa de jación del papel de lija
La vibración causada por la herramienta
puede ser perjudicial para las manos y los
brazos. Antes de rasquetear, compruebe que
la pieza de trabajo no tenga clavos.
Si hay alguno, quítelo o húndalo bien por
debajo de la supercie que va a rasquetear.
Golpear un clavo con el borde de un
accesorio puede causar que la herramienta
salte. No use esta herramienta para
humedecer arena.
Si entra algún líquido en la carcasa del
motor puede producirse una descarga
eléctrica. Nunca se debe trabajar en un área
que esté empapada de líquido, como solvente
o agua, o en un área humedecida, como papel
tapiz recién aplicado.
Existe el riesgo de una descarga eléctrica
cuando se trabaja en esas condiciones
y el calentamiento del líquido producido
por el rasqueteado puede emitir vapores
nocivos. Siempre utilice protección ocular y
una máscara en trabajos que generen polvo
y cuando el lijado produzca partículas que
puedan entrar en sus ojos o ser inhaladas ya
que podrían causar complicaciones de salud.
Se deben tomar precauciones especiales
al lijar madera tratada a presión con
químicos, pintura que pueda ser a base
de plomo u otro material que contenga
sustancias cancerígenas. Toda persona que
ingrese al área de trabajo deberá utilizar un
respirador adecuado y ropa de protección.
El área de trabajo debe estar sellada con
láminas de plástico y las personas que
no tengan protección deben mantenerse
fuera de la misma hasta que quede
totalmente limpia. No use papel de lija
diseñado para platos de lijado más grandes ya
que sobresaldrá del plato causando tirones,
ruptura del papel o un contragolpe. Además,
podría causar laceraciones graves.
SIMBOLOS
La placa de características de la herramienta muestra algunos símbolos. Estos
representan información importante acerca del producto o instrucciones sobre su uso.

OPERACIÓN
Montaje de la herramienta
Para el ajuste de la posición de trabajo
más conveniente, la herramienta de
aplicación puede ser montada en
pasos de 45°.
1. Desatornille el tornillo de sujeción (9).
2. Limpie el portaherramientas (1), la
herramienta de aplicación y el tornillo
de sujeción (9).
3. Coloque la herramienta de aplicación
exactamente dentro del porta-
accesorios con forma de estrella (4).
Preste atención a que la herramienta de
aplicación tiene un calce al ras.
4. Apriete el tornillo de sujeción (9) con
la llave Allen (10).
Montaje del extractor de polvo
1. Instale el dispositivo de succión
paso a paso como se muestra en las
guras.
2. Para conectar con un Dustex o una
aspiradora, hay disponibles en forma
de accesorio varios adaptadores de
manguera.
3. Para volver a quitar el dispositivo
de succión, presione hacia atrás la
abrazadera en la marca.
Uso previsto.
El movimiento oscilante de su
“herramienta eléctrica multipropósito”
tiene claras ventajas sobre el resto de
las herramientas eléctricas:
1. No hay retroceso al lijar en esquinas y
bordes.
2. Alto rendimiento de corte justo en la
esquina.
3. Produce un mínimo de ruido
al funcionar, sin movimiento
independiente de la herramienta.
El movimiento oscilante transforma a su
herramienta multipropósito en:
Encendido y Apagado
En primer lugar compruebe que el cable
y el conector no estén dañados.
Encendido de la herramienta eléctrica:
Deslice el interruptor (2) hacia
adelante (I).
Apagado de la herramienta eléctrica:
Deslice el interruptor (2) hacia atrás (0).
La herramienta se enciende con el
interruptor situado en la parte superior de la
carcasa del motor.
ADVERTENCIA! Sujete con rmeza la
herramienta al encenderla, ya que el par del
motor podría causar que gire.
Ajuste de velocidad
El dispositivo está equipado con un
dispositivo de ajuste de velocidad eléctrico.
El disco de ajuste está marcado con los
números: “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6”. La velocidad
aumenta cuando se pone un mayor número.
Para reducir la velocidad se debe girar el
disco a un número menor.

Método de maquinado
Lijado
1. Materiales: madera, pintura, metal,
piedra.
2. Aplicación típica:
a) Lijado de zonas pequeñas,
especialmente esquinas, a lo largo
de bordes y en zonas de difícil
acceso.
b) Lijado y decapado de marcos de
ventanas, muebles, pasamanos, etc.
c) Quitar el óxido de vehículos.
d) También como lijadora orbital
aleatoria, orbital o de banda para
puertas, portones, barcos, pisos de
madera, escaleras de madera, etc.
3. Recomendaciones de uso:
a) Al lijar, mueva la herramienta
eléctrica de forma continua y aplique
una ligera presión.
b) Trabaje con la almohadilla de lijado
apoyada horizontalmente sobre el
material (no funciona con un solo
punto).
c) No aplique una presión excesiva,
esto no aumentará el rendimiento de
corte, sino que simplemente gastará
la almohadilla de lijado.
d) Seleccione una frecuencia de
vibración alta (la herramienta
eléctrica es ajustable).
Aserrado con la hoja de sierra
1. Aplicación típica: madera, plásticos,
láminas de metal.
2. Seleccione una frecuencia de
oscilación alta.
3. La hoja de sierra dura más tiempo si el
desgaste se distribuye uniformemente.
Para asegurar una distribución uniforme,
aoje la hoja de sierra, gírela un poco y
luego vuelva a ajustarla con rmeza.
Aserrado con la hoja de sierra E-Cut
1. Antes de cortar, asegúrese de que no
dañará cables con corriente.
2. Sujete con rmeza la pieza de trabajo
antes de procesarla.
3. Aplicación típica: madera, paneles
de yeso y plásticos blandos. No es
adecuada para metales (clavos, por
ejemplo) y piedra.
4. Sólo sujete la hoja de sierra E-Cut
y corte en una posición recta. Para
jar, utilice un tornillo de apriete con un
gran disco. Retire con cuidado la capa
protectora.
5. Siempre coloque la hoja de sierra
E-Cut derecha (a 90°) y guíela a través
del hueco sin inclinación. Siempre guíe
la hoja de sierra E-Cut a lo largo de la
línea de corte sin ejercer ninguna
presión.
6. Cuando corte con un leve movimiento
pendular, asegúrese de quitar la viruta
suciente.
7. Mantenga cierta distancia de los
metales duros (piedra y metal) (aprox.
3mm), ya que existe un mayor riesgo
de que los dientes exteriores de la
sierra se rompan.
Rasqueteado
1. Aplicación típica:
Con espátula rígida
a) Eliminación de recubrimientos
dañados, por ejemplo: pintura,
adhesivos, impermeabilizantes.
b) Extracción de residuos de
pegamento en alfombras (por
ejemplo en escaleras u otras áreas
de pequeño y mediano tamaño).
2. Con una espátula exible
a) Trabajo de rasqueteado suave.
b) Eliminación de adhesivos de
supercies de vidrio.
c) Eliminación de relleno de silicona viejo

los dientes de la sierra tienen mucho
lo. No tocar durante el montaje y la
aplicación. Antes de cortar,
asegúrese de que no dañará cables
con corriente. Sujete con rmeza la
pieza de trabajo antes de procesarla.

3. Recomendaciones de uso:
a) Cuando rasquetee un material
suave (por ejemplo, madera),
mantenga la espátula horizontal a
la supercie y aplique una ligera
presión, de lo contrario podría cortar
el material (gráco). Si es necesario,
ajuste la espátula al revés, esto
reduce la presión de rasqueteado.
b) Si es necesario, ale la espátula:
Mientras se está ejecutando la
herramienta, apoye la espátula
contra una piedra de alar o papel
de lija.
c) Seleccionar una frecuencia de
vibración alta (si la herramienta
eléctrica es ajustable).
Raspado
Materiales:
Yeso, cemento, pegamento de
azulejos, masilla, ladrillos, madera.
Aplicaciones típicas:
1. Áspero lijado de yeso, cemento,
pegamento de azulejos.
2. Eliminación de manchas de aceite
en el piso del garaje.
3. Áspero lijado de madera o masilla.
4. Para esculpir piedra natural y
articial o tallar madera.
Recomendaciones de uso:
1. Tenga cuidado cuando trabaja
sobre supercies sensibles! Una
escona de carburo de tungsteno
tiene un alto rendimiento de corte en
las supercies de madera pintada.
2. Lije la supercie moviendo
continuamente la herramienta y
aplicando una presión media a alta .
3. Seleccione una frecuencia de
vibración alta (la herramienta
eléctrica es ajustable).
4. Si es necesario, limpie la
escona de carburo de tungsteno
con un cepillo de alambre
mientras la herramienta está en
funcionamiento.
Corte (rueda de amolar)
Aplicaciones típicas:
Con hoja de sierra de diamante
1. Extracción de mármol, latón,
resina epoxi de entre las
supercies embaldosadas.
2. Reparaciones en supercies
azulejadas en interiores y al aire libre.
3. Para hacer cortes en yeso,
paredes de ladrillo, hormigón,
piedra, cemento poroso y bloques
de cemento.
4. Con hoja de sierra segmentada de
diamante.
5. Igual que la anterior, sin embargo
también puede utilizarse en
esquinas sin cortar de más.
Recomendaciones de uso:
1. Seleccione una frecuencia de
vibración alta (si la herramienta
eléctrica es ajustable).
Pulido
Materiales:
Mármol, granito, gneis, piedra
articial, cromo, latón, bronce.
Revestimientos de Gelcoat en barcos.
Aplicaciones típicas:
1. Alféizares, escaleras, pisos de piedra.
2. Automóvil, motocicleta, barco.
Recomendaciones de uso:
1. Aplique un poco de pulido que sea
compatible con el material (ver
tabla). Antes de pulir mármol, haga
una prueba en un área oculta (es
posible una decoloración).
2. Aplique la herramienta eléctrica
con movimientos lentos y circulares.
3. Para piedra y metal seleccione
una alta frecuencia de vibración y
presión de contacto.
4. Pula cuidadosamente los
revestimientos de Gelcoat
aplicando una baja frecuencia de
vibración y presión de contacto.
5. Luego quite los residuos del
pulido con un paño suave.
6. Para obtener un óptimo acabado
brillante, vuelva a pulir con una
almohadilla de eltro seca.
