downandaway fromsockettounlock it.Lift theload lever.
2.Pushdownthe rear tab withyourforefingertobringthefrontendofthe load
plateupslightly.Open the loadplatewiththumb.Becarefulnottotouch the
contacts.

3.HoldCPUwiththumbandforefinger.Ensurefingersaligntosocket cutouts.
Match theCPUtrianglemarkertoPin1positionasshownbelow.Thealignment
key also providestheorientation directedfunction.Lower the CPUstraight down
withouttiltingorslidingtheCPU inthesocket.
4.Afterinstalling theCPU,removetheprotectivecoverfromload plate. The
protectivecoverisusedtoprotectthecontactsofthe socket. Donotdiscardthe
protective cover.Always replacethesocketcover if theCPUisremovedfromthe
socket.

5.Closetheloadplate,andslightlypushdownthe tongueside.
6.Lowertheleverand lock ittotheloadplate,thentheCPU islockedcompletely.

Excessivetemperatures will severelydamagetheCPU and
system.Therefore, you shouldinstall CPU coolingfanand make
surethatthe coolingfanworks normallyatalltimes inorderto

stallatleastonememorymoduletoensurenormaloperation.If you installtwo
modules,theymustbethesamespeed.Mixedmemorymodules fromdifferent
manufacturersisnotrecommended.
Installation ofDDR Memory
1.Thereisonlyone gap inthecenter of theDIMMsocket, andthememory
modulecan be fixedinonedirection only.Unlock aDIMM socketbypressing
the moduleclipsoutward.
2.AlignthememorymoduletotheDIMM socketandinsertthemoduleverti-
callyintotheDIMMsocket.
3.The plasticclipsatbothsidesoftheDIMM socketwilllockautomatically.
