Protectivecover
1.Use thumbandforefinger toholdthehookofthe loadlever andpullthe lever
downandaway fromsockettounlock it.Lift theload lever.
2.Pushdownthe rear tab withyourforefingertobringthefrontendofthe load
plateupslightly.Open the loadplatewiththumb.Becarefulnottotouch the
contacts.

3.HoldCPUwiththumbandforefinger.Ensurefingersaligntosocket cutouts.
Match theCPUtrianglemarkertoPin1positionasshownbelow.Thealignment
key also providestheorientation directedfunction.Lower the CPUstraight down
withouttiltingorslidingtheCPU inthesocket.
4.Afterinstalling theCPU,removetheprotectivecoverfromload plate. The
protectivecoverisusedtoprotectthecontactsofthe socket. Donotdiscardthe
protective cover.Always replacethesocketcover if theCPUisremovedfromthe
socket.

Note:
Excessive temperatures willseverelydamage theCPU and
system.Therefore, you shouldinstall CPU coolingfanand make
surethatthe coolingfanworksnormallyatalltimesinorderto
preventoverheatinganddamagingtotheCPU.Pleaserefertoyour
CPU fanuserguidetoinstall itproperly.
5.Closetheloadplate,andslightlypushdownthe tongueside.
6.Lowertheleverand lock ittotheloadplate,thentheCPU islockedcompletely.

Thismotherboardincludestwo240-pinDIMMslots. SoYou mustinstall atleast
onememorybank toensurenormaloperation.
InstallationofDDR2Memory
1.ThereisonlyonegapnearthecenteroftheDIMMslot, and thememory
modulecan be fixedinonedirection only.Unlock aDIMM slotbypressing the
moduleclips outward.
2.AlignthememorymoduletotheDIMM slot,and insert the modulevertically
intotheDIMMslot.
3.Theplasticclipsatbothsides oftheDIMM slotwill lock automatically.

Theconnectorconnectstothecase’sHDD indicator LED indicatingtheactivity
statusofharddisks.
ResetSwitch (RESET)
Attach theconnectortothe Resetswitchonthe frontpanelofthecase;the
systemwillrestartwhenthe switch ispressed.
Power LEDConnector(PWRLED)
Attachtheconnectortothe powerLEDonthefront panelof thecase. ThePower
LEDindicatesthe system’sstatus.When thesystemisinS0status,theLEDis
on.Whenthe systemisinS1status, the LEDisblink;When thesystemisinS3,
