Loadlever Load plate
Protectivecover
1.Use thumbandforefinger toholdthehookofthe loadlever andpullthe lever
downandaway fromsockettounlock it.Lift theload lever.
2.Pushdownthe rear tab withyourforefingertobringthefrontendofthe load
plateupslightly.Open the loadplatewiththumb.Becarefulnottotouch the
contacts.

3.HoldCPUwiththumbandforefinger.Ensurefingersaligntosocket cutouts.
Match theCPUtrianglemarkertoPin1positionasshownbelow.Thealignment
key also providestheorientation directedfunction.Lower the CPUstraight down
withouttiltingorslidingtheCPU inthesocket.
4.Afterinstalling theCPU,removetheprotectivecoverfromload plate. The
protectivecoverisusedtoprotectthecontactsofthe socket. Donotdiscardthe
protective cover.Always replacethesocketcover if theCPUisremovedfromthe
socket.

5.Closetheloadplate,andslightlypushdownthe tongueside.
6.Lowertheleverand lock ittotheloadplate,thentheCPU islockedcompletely.
Note:
Excessive temperatureswillseverelydamagetheCPUandsystem.
Thereforeyou shouldinstall theCPU cooling fanand makesurethat
itworksnormallyatall times inordertopreventoverheating and
damagetotheCPU.Please refer toyour CPU fanuserguidefor
correctinstallation.

Installation of the Memory
1.ThereisonlyonegapnearthecenteroftheDIMMslot, and thememory
modulecan be fixedinonedirection only.Unlock aDIMM slotbypressing the
moduleclips outward.
2.AlignthememorymoduletotheDIMM slot,and insert the modulevertically
intotheDIMMslot.
Warning:
Besuretounplugthe ACpowersupplybeforeaddingorremoving
expansion cardsorothersystemperipherals,especiallythememory
devices,otherwise yourmotherboardorthesystemmemorymight
be seriouslydamaged.
