POSITIONING
The minimum installation height of the hood must be 2 metres for a new building and 1.90 metres for a renovated building.
To ensure optimum capture, a minimum overflow system for the hood of 300 mm must be respected on the sides and front
of the range cooker (for versions with visor).
The hood must be suspended using threaded rods with a minimum diameter of 8 mm and a maximum of 10 mm; the number
and positions of the mounting points are shown on the preceding diagrams.
If there are several modules, the kit supplied must be used for mechanical connection; refer to the assembly instructions
contained in the kit.
AIR SYSTEM CONNECTION
This hood must be connected to air extraction and compensation networks made from a rigid, non-combustible material
(material classed A1, formerly M0). The connection between the air extraction and compensation networks and the hood
may be made using a flat take-off or a spigot plate. This take-off or spigot must be attached to the hood using rivets or any
other means of fastening apart from self-tapping or self-drilling screws which could cause injuries during cleaning or
maintenance operations.
If the optional guillotine dampers are fitted, the extraction plenum is supplied with circular cut-outs (355 mm in diameter),
shown on the preceding diagrams; otherwise the plenums are supplied without holes.
The compensation plenums are supplied with circular cut-outs (250 mm in diameter) shown on the preceding diagrams.
The diameter of the extraction network where it joins the hood must be no less than 315 mm. There is a risk of noise
disturbance if this dimension is smaller.

ADVICE
During commissioning, it is recommended that measurements (flow rate, pressure, etc.) are taken to assess whether the
installation is operating correctly.
FAULTS
Should any faults be observed: contact the after-sales service.
This hood is mainly made from stainless steel materials, therefore special care must be taken when selecting which cleaning
products to use. Only use products designed for stainless steel. Use a sponge to wipe in the direction of the brushing, then
rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth. The cleaning products used must not contain any hydrochloric acid or bleach-based
substances. We recommend that the cleaning and polishing product Brilinox (product code 760030) is used to maintain and
protect your stainless steel hood. We advise against the use of abrasive powders or pads as these may scratch surfaces and
alter their appearance. For minor scratches, we recommend that you use the foam eraser pad (product code 760032). Before
using any maintenance product, please read through the technical information provided.
Visible areas of the hood must be cleaned every day after each service. The filters and extraction plenum must cleaned as
and when it is deemed necessary; once a week is the compulsory minimum. The filters can be removed for cleaning in a bath
of cleaning solution or in a pass through or normal dishwasher.
The extraction network must be cleaned at least once a year.
Maintenance must be performed on Mooréa Compensation and Atria Compensation hoods at least once a year by a
professional (general condition checked, electrical connections checked, etc.).
If there is a fault with an LED spotlight, it must be replaced as its components cannot be removed.
If there is a fault with the flush-mounted lighting, the polycarbonate diffuser will need to be removed to access the fluorescent
tubes and the various components; remove the screws around the perimeter of the diffuser. The tubes are fluorescent tubes,
16 mm in diameter, type T5, 4000 K, with a 21 W or 28 W output depending on the model.
