Tools and Hardware Required
Installation of the heatsink cover requires only a Philips screwdriver.

Installation Procedure
1. Locate the three (3) Philips-head screws located on the topside of the SubDrive
NEMA 4 unit.
2. Remove the screws using a Philips screwdriver. DO NOT discard these screws as
they are used to install the heatsink cover.

5. Be sure that the eyelets of the cover align with the screw holes on the topside
of the drive.
6. Reinstall the three (3) Philips-head screws to secure the heatsink cover to the drive.

3. Position the heatsink cover with the retention hooks pointing into the four
(4) square opening in the mounting bracket of the drive.
4. Pivot the heatsink cover to lay flat against the topside of the mounting bracket
of the drive. Make sure that the retention hooks are properly positioned to grasp
the sheet metal.
