Specifications
The freeView Power 80ME allows you to remotely control the
power of up to 8 devices. Ideal for secure server rooms and
remote locations, the freeView Power 80ME can reboot
servers, routers, and switches that have locked up by accessing
it through a computer on the network or over the internet or
by using an analog telephone. In addition, up to 16 units of
the freeView Power 80ME can be daisy chained together to
provide control of up to 128 devices using a single IP address.
With enhanced management features such as email and trap
notifications, MIB support for network management software,
and an easy to use graphical web interface, the freeView
Power 80ME allows you to control the power to your devices
with ease.
The included freeView Power Env module adds an external
modem port and a temperature and humidity sensor to the
freeView Power 80ME. The environmental sensor is integrated
with the freeView Power 80ME web interface, allowing the
unit to automatically turn individual ports on or off if the
ambient temperature or humidity exceeds preset limits. For
example, if the server room starts to get too warm, the
freeView Power 80ME can turn on a fan to cool down the
room, and turn servers off to prevent them from overheating.
