Description, General Specification
The DV-HDA-15 HDMI Distribution Amplifier allows one digital video source to be
spilt into 5 digital displays. The built-in amplification and re-clock function enables
HDMI signal distribution without signal loss.

Description
High Quality Picture - No Signal Loss and Digital Noise Free
Signal Amplification for signal reliability and long length signal
transmission.
The DV-HDA-15 Distribution Amplifier provides the quality you would expect
from FSR, for home and commercial applications. The unit features 5 outputs
and signal boosting power for long cable runs up to 33ft, this HDMI Distribution
Amp is ready for duty in home theaters, restaurants, churches, retail outlets,
trade shows...the list goes on and on.
Our 12V power adapter supplies adequate power to amplify the video
signals from the video source. This is necessary as the overall length from
the video source to the displays is longer when using the distribution
amplifiers (distance from the video source to the distribution amplifier +
distance from the distribution amplifier to the display). In most cases, the
overall distance that the HDMI signal will need to travel is over 10 ft. Due to
the nature of HDMI signals, amplification is necessary to ensure video
quality and reliability. (Without amplification, there may be occasional
blackouts or blinking effects or no sound) With this amplification feature, the
video display can be extended up to 33ft using high quality HDMI copper
cables.
Our HDMI distribution amplifiers are fully HDCP compliant. Many video
sources such as Blue-ray players and Satellite/Cable Receivers are HDCP
encrypted. For these video sources to be displayed correctly, the displays
must be HDCP compliant devices (e.g., TV / Projector, Distribution amplifier).

Video Connections:
1. Connect your video source’s HDMI/DVI output port to the DV-HDA-
15’s HDMI input port using standard HDMI cables (not included). Make
sure your HDMI source and displays are turned off before connecting
the cables.
2. Connect your display’s HDMI input port to DV-HDA-15’s HDMI output
port. Make sure your display is turned off before connecting the cables.
3. Plug the 12V power supply into the HD-D105N’s power input port.
4. Plug the 12V wall mount power supply into the wall outlet.
5. Turn on Distributor power.
6. Turn on your displays.
7. Turn on your video source.

1. Disconnect Input HDMI cable,
2. Connect Monitor or HDTV to “OUTPUT 1” back panel of distributor
3. Turn on distributor and Display / Projector power
4. Enter Menu and select input1 for EXT EDID mode

Internal EDID selection:
To use factory pre-programmed EEprom EDID data:
1. Disconnect input HDMI cable on DV-HDA-15
2. Turn on distributor power
3. Select one of the” INTERNAL EDID” settings by using the menu key.
Please refer to the Internal EDID list in the “Technical Specification”.
4. Push the Enter key to save the desired setting.
5. Connect all cables
6. Power cycle the DV-HDA-15 and HDMI source.

Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
Distribution Amplifier will
not operate Make sure the 12V power is plugged in the back of the unit.
Check to see if the power & status LED light is on.
No picture(or signal)
Or Poor picture 1. In case your video source is HDCP enabled, make sure your video display (HDTV) is HDCP
compliant.
2 Image stability is influenced by cable quality and
cable length.
3. Try the other high quality HDMI cables.
4. If you are using computers, try other lower
resolutions settings. Some HDTV’s support 720p
rate of 60Hz and computer’s video cards are
usually set at higher resolution and refresh rate
(75Hz).
5. Make sure all HDMI connectors are tightly
secured to all HDMI ports.
6. Turn off all equipments (video source, distributor
and Display) and restart all equipments.
Incorrectly sized picture
/resolution or No picture Please remember that your video source will only support one resolution setting. If To connect 1080p
resolution display and 1080i/720p resolution
display, the resolution setting of your video source
must be set to the lower resolution setting (720p)

Limited Warranty
The DV-HDA-15 is warranted against failures due to defective parts or faulty workmanship for a
period of three years after delivery to the original owner. During this period, FSR will make any
necessary repairs or replace the unit without charge for parts or labor. Shipping charges to the
factory or repair station must be prepaid by the owner, return-shipping charges (via UPS Ground)
will be paid by FSR.
This warranty applies only to the original owner and is not transferable. In addition, it does not apply
to repairs done by other than the FSR factory or Authorized Repair Stations.
This warranty shall be cancelable by FSR at its sole discretion if the unit has been subjected to
physical abuse or has been modified in any way without written authorization from FSR. FSR’s
liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective unit.
FSR will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or
misuse of its products. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential
damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal
rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Warranty claims should be accompanied by a copy of the original purchase invoice showing the
purchase date (if a Warranty Registration Card was mailed in at the time of purchase, this is not
necessary). Before returning any equipment for repair, please read the important information on
service below.
SERVICE
Before returning any equipment for repair, please be sure that it is adequately packed and
cushioned against damage in shipment, and that it is insured. We suggest that you save the original
packaging and use it to ship the product for servicing. Also, please enclose a note giving your name,
address, phone number and a description of the problem.
NOTE: all equipment being returned for repair must have a Return authorization (RMA) Number. To
get a RMA Number, please call the FSR Service Department (1-800-332-FSR1). Please display
your RMA Number prominently on the front of all packages.
