For Installers
INSTALLATION
WARNING
• All electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrician.
• Do not place any object on the power cord.
Neglecting this note may cause electric shock and/or re.
CAUTION
• The diaphragms will be damaged by the chlorine gas and/or other fume so any hole and
gap (i.e. conduit or air pipe) where the chlorine gas could pass through to the air pump
must be sealed completely with silicon sealant or any suitable materials.
• The air pump should be installed in a well ventilated place and away from direct sunlight
preferably undercover.
• Install the air pump in a place which has neither direct rain, water splashing nor
water immersion.
• Do not install the air pump at the place which is under the kitchen fan or possible to take
air including oil into the air pump.
• Avoid installing the air pump in a bedroom or other places where noises may be
a nuisance.
• Install the air pump in a place that provides easy access for inspection and maintenance.
• Install the air pump close to the use point, preferably within 5 meters.
Pipe work should be with minimum bends.
• Install the air pump in a place where is apart from the building wall by over 20cm using
a concrete base so as not to transfer the vibration.
• Make sure the concrete base for the air pump is level.
• Connect the air pump and the pipe by a rubber tube; tighten by a pinch cock.
• Insert the power plug rmly into the power point. Do not pull out the plug by the cable.
It may damage the cable.
• The air pump must be connected to a grounded, metallic, permanent wiring system,
or an equipment-grounding terminal or lead on the product.
• Please be sure to conduct earth construction work. (2 hole plug case)
FOR FREIGHT / EXPRESS / COURIER COMPANIES
CAUTION
• Do not drop, throw or tilt the air pump during the transportation. The internal parts may
get damaged, and the air pump may not be working properly.

TEST OPERATION
CAUTION
• The airline outlet area must be lled with water up to the prescribed line before turning
on the air pump.
• Make sure the aeration is conducted properly.
• Make sure the air pump is making no abnormal noise and vibration.
• Measure the working pressure between the use point and air pump. The accepted value
for the pressure is ± 20% of the normal pressure which is specied on the air pump
name plate.

Inspection and Maintenance
as required
A diaphragm change is only permitted by trained maintenance personnel. Work on electrical
components may only be carried out by qualied electricians in accordance with the
applicable regulations.
AIR FILTER
INSPECT AND CLEAN EVERY 3 OR 4 MONTHS AND REPLACE EVERY YEAR
In order to optimize the lifespan of the air lter when it is used in areas where dust
accumulation may be high, frequent maintenance is required. If the air lter gets too dirty,
replacement will be necessary.
ATTENTION
Neglecting this note may cause abnormal heat generation, decrease in
air ow volume, and/or early breakdown of the diaphragm.
DIAPHRAGM/VALVE
REPLACE THE DIAPHRAGM/VALVE EVERY YEAR
If the diaphragm/valve becomes damaged, the automatic stop function engages (except
FujiMAC40 R2). Further action must be taken to rectify the problem or deterioration of the
use point due to an inoperable air pump may result. A discernible odour will be present in
this event. The diaphragm/valve assembly should be replaced before it gets damaged.
ATTENTION
Neglecting this note may adversely affect the performance
of the use point.
PRESSURE
HIGH PRESSURE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED
Irregular heat generation and/or early diaphragm breakage may result if operation of the
air pump is sustained at an abnormally high pressure. The accepted value for the working
pressure between the use point and the air pump is +/- 20 % of the normal pressure which
is specied on the pump name plate.
WARNING
Neglecting this note may cause material damage.

ATTENTION
Working air pump is hot! While operating, the lower part of the
air pump gets hot. Do not touch directly. Neglecting this note may
cause injury and burn.
POWER PLUG
FIRE ACCIDENT PREVENTION
WARNING
Check whether any dirt and/or dust has built up on the power plug
at least once a year and insert to the base and t rmly. Dirt/dust
accumulation and/or a faulty connection may cause electric shock
and/or a re accident.
AUTO-STOP FUNCTION
MAKE SURE TO INSPECT THE FUNCTION EVERY TIME THE DIAPHRAGM/VALVE
ASSEMPLY IS REPLACED
Remove the auto-stop piece and put in the plug to ensure the auto-stop function works
properly. After checking, disconnect the plug from the power point and set the auto-stop
piece in the right position. (See below)
WARNING
Make sure to turn off the power when replacing the diaphragm/valve
assembly and/or handling the auto-stop piece. Neglecting this note
may cause an electric shock.
