Processors, the Fujitsu A1220 LifeBook notebook
provides all the computing power you will ever need,
even for the most demanding applications.
The Fujitsu A1220 LifeBook, depending upon configu-
ration can be purchased with a Dual-Layer, Multi-
format DVD writer or Blu-ray RW optical drive. The
Dual-layer DVD-R or RW technology lets you record up
to 8.5 GB of data on a single disc. This nearly doubles
the standard DVD capacity of 4.7 GB. With a Blu-ray
optical RW drive, not only can you enjoy hi-def DVD
tltles on your notebook but you can play it on a larger
HD screen via the HDMI jack. You will also reap all the
benefits of being able to write to a Blu-ray disc that has
a capacity of 50 GB. Of course you can listen to your
CDs and write to CD-Rs as well on either drive.

The Ethernet LAN built-in, you can easily connect to
your office network and the Internet at home or at work.
For wireless connectivity, the built-in Atheros XSPAN
®
BGN (802.11BGN) wireless offers you a seamless and

high as 108 Mbps. The high resolution 2 mega-pixel
webcam adds a fun (and very useful) dimension to
staying in touch with family and friends. With
Bluetooth technology you will be able to wirelessly
connect to other Bluetooth devices such as cell
phones, headphones, or speakers cutting down
on workspace clutter.

1) Preinstalled with a free 60-day trial version
of Symantec Norton Internet Security
2009. The 60-day trial version is activated
upon user’s acceptance of software license
agreement. After 60 days, the user must
purchase a subscription from Symantec
to download latest virus definitions.
2) One gigabyte (GB) = one billion bytes.
Accessible capacity will be less and actual
capacity depends on the operating
environment and formatting. Approximately
16.2GB of the hard drive is reserved
for system recovery software.
