Operation
English
Your refrigerator must stand on a flat
surface. If the appliance is to be placed
onto the carpet, support it with a wooden
board. Do not put the appliance directly
onto the carpet, because the heat from
the compressor may cause the carpet to
fade.
Temperature Control
The temperature
07
4
control is located
inside the
refrigerator
compartment on
the top. The temperature control ranges
from 0 to 7 (from cold to coldest). The
first time the unit is turned on, adjust the
temperature control knob to a higher
(colder) setting and run for at least 24
hours before readjusting the temperature
and placing food inside. This will ensure
the cabinet is thoroughly chilled before
food is placed into the refrigerator.
If you choose to change the thermostat
setting, adjust the thermostat by
one increment at a time. After each
movement of the control knob, allow
several hours for the unit to adjust
completely. Large amounts of food
may lower the cooling efficiency of the
appliance.
NOTE: If losing power during working
time, the refrigerator will rework after 3
to 5 minutes automatically.
Replacing the Interior Light
Switch off the fridge. Failure to do so may
result in electrical shock or personal
injury. Replace the old bulb with a new
bulb of the same wattage and size.
Freezer Compartment
Operation
Temperature Control
Your refrigerator has one control for
regulating the temperature in the freezer
compartment. The freezer temperature
control is located on the interior back
panel of freezer compartment. For the
best performance, leave the freezer
control at the midpoint and adjust
the refrigerator
compartment
temperature control.
Adjust the freezer
control one increment at a time until the
desired temperature is reached.
NOTE:
• Do not store the canned food or store
the food with glass containers in the
freezer compartment.
• MIN stands for the setting of "cold".
MAX stands for the setting of
"coldest".
The Freezer Compartment
• This compartment is designed to
store the frozen food for a long period
of time. The storage life varies by the
frozen food and should not exceed the
recommended time.
• Place frozen food into the freezer as
early as possible after purchased.
Follow the packaging's instruction on
recommended storage time.

Maintenance
English
Cleaning Your Refrigerator
• Switch off the fridge.
• Clean the interior of the refrigerator
with a cloth soaked in lukewarm
water and baking soda solution. A
solution of 2 tablespoons baking soda
to a quart of water will clean and
neutralize odors. Rinse and wipe dry.
• Be sure to keep the door gasket (seal)
clean to keep the fridge running
efficiently.
• Clean the exterior of the refrigerator
with a warm damp cloth and mild
detergent. Do not use harsh or
abrasive cleaners.
• Never clean the refrigerator with
flammable fluids. This may result in a
risk of fire.
Vacation Time
• For long vacations, remove all food.
Then, switch off the refrigerator.
• Clean the interior and leave doors
open to avoid possible odor or mold
formation.
• Keep the refrigerator not easily
accessible by children.
Moving Your Refrigerator
• Switch off the refrigerator.
• Remove all the foodstuff, shelves,
drawers and doors.
• Be sure the refrigerator stays
in the upright position during
transportation.
Energy Saving Tips
• Locate the refrigerator in the coolest
area of the room, away from heat
producing appliances or heating
ducts, and out of the direct sunlight.
• Cool off the hot food to room
temperature before placing in the
refrigerator.
• Wrap the food properly with the
containers and ensure them dry
before placing in the refrigerator, to
avoid the frost built on interior walls.
• Organize and label the food to reduce
the time to open the door or search

Troubleshooting
English
If you encounter a problem with the refrigerator as below tables stated, firstly try the
suggested solutions. If problems persist, please call the service or the dealer.
Problem Solution
Refrigerator does not
operate Ensure that the refrigerator is powered on correctly.
Compressor turns on and off
Check whether the room temperature is higher than the normal.
Check whether the door is open or is frequently opened.
Check whether the refrigerator has been recently disconnected for a
period of time.
Refrigerator compartments
are too warm
Ensure that the temperature control is set correctly.
Check whether the door is open or is frequently opened.
Ensure that the door gasket is properly sealed.
Ensure that the warm or hot foodstuff is cooled down before storing in
the refrigerator.
Check if the refrigerator has been recently disconnected for a period of
time.
Vibrating or rattling (slight
vibration is normal)
Adjust the leveling legs.
Ensure that the refrigerator is placed on a flat and solid surface.
The temperature on the
exterior of the refrigerator
is high.
Check if the temperature of the exterior refrigerator walls is much
higher than the room temperature 30°C.
This is normal when the surface is warm, because the compressor
works to convey the heat from the interior to the exterior.
Moisture collects inside the
refrigerator Check whether the door is open or is frequently opened.
Moisture forms on outside of
refrigerator This is normal when in hot and humid weather.
Bubbling or gurgling sounds
(like boiling water)
This is the normal sound of refrigerant (used to cool refrigerator)
circulating throughout the system.
Popping or cracking sounds
when compressor comes on
This is normal. Metal parts undergo expansion and contraction, like hot
water pipes. The sound will decrease or disappear as refrigerator runs.
The door cannot be closed.
Ensure the refrigerator is on a flat surface.
Check whether the gasket is dirty.
Check whether the storage drawer is out of position.
