Battery Replacement
Step 1: Push the ON/OFF switch to turn off.
Step 2: Remove the screws from the battery compartment cover.
Step 3: Replace the battery with an equivalent, new solar
rechargeable Ni-MH battery, ensuring the correct polarity is
observed.
Step 4: Reassemble the unit by reversing the above procedure.
Step 5: Push the ON/OFF switch to turn on. Allow the
unit to fully charge in direct sunlight for up to 2 days in
the ON position. Once fully charged, your solar light will
automatically turn on once it gets dark.
CAUTION: Rechargeable batteries contain nickel-cadmium
or nickel-metal hydride and must be recylced or disposed
of properly. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix
alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or
leak.
For First Time Use
Step 1: If there is a protective film covering the solar panel, this
must be removed prior to use.
Step 2: Push the ON/OFF switch to turn on. Allow the
unit to fully charge in direct sunlight for up to 2 days in
the ON position. Once fully charged, your solar light will
automatically turn on once it gets dark.
