Installation & Operation
Note before installation:
• Recommended install height between 5 ft. and 6 ft. 6 in from
ground.
• 120° detection zone up to 9ft.
Installation (Figure 1)
Step 1: Measure and mark with a pencil where you will need to pre-
drill for screws (if required).
Step 2: Secure with screws to post or rail through mounting holes
from the front of the light.
Operation (Figure 2)
Push the ON/OFF switch to turn on. Allow the unit to fully charge
in direct sunlight for up to 2 days in the ON position. Once fully
charged, your solar light will automatically turn on once it gets dark.
Note: Light will come on at low level (10 lumens) at dusk. Light
goes to full power (80 lumens) for 20-25 seconds when motion
is detected, then returns to low level.
Battery Replacement (Figure 3)
Step 1: Push the ON/OFF switch to turn off.
Step 2: Remove the screws from the battery compartment cover.
Step 3: Carefully lift the cover to access the battery compartment,
being sure not to detach any of the connected wires.
Step 4: Replace the battery with an equivalent, new solar
rechargeable battery (3.2V, lithium) ensuring the correct polarity is
observed.
Step 5: Reassemble the unit by reversing the above procedure.
Step 6: Push the ON/OFF switch to turn on. Allow the unit to fully
charge in direct sunlight for up to 2 days in the ON position. Once
fully charged, your solar light will automatically turn on once it gets
dark.
CAUTION: Contains lithium-ion rechargeable battery. Battery
must be recycled or disposed of properly. Do not mix old and
new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc),
or rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
Batteries may explode or leak.
