–Macro:
A powerful funcon that allows you
to execute a series of key presses with
the press of a designated key.
To open the G.SKILL Driver System, go to
the system tray and double click on the
G.SKILL icon.
You are now ready to begin.
The G.SKILL Driver System is the soware
system that allows you to fully control
and manage macros, lighng eects, and
various customizaons for your RIPJAWS
KM570 RGB mechanical gaming keyboard.
To help you through this manual, here are
some useful key terms to keep in mind:
–Prole:
A full collecon of sengs, including
custom key assignments, keyboard
sengs, and lighng eects. A single
prole can be stored in the on-board
memory of your keyboard.
–Key:
Refers to the keyboard input.
Each key may have its own default
funcon, or it can be programmed to
have a customized funcon through
the soware.

LayoutOverview
The G.SKILL Driver System has four main
secons:
1. ProleSelecon:
Create and manage proles. Select
and store a prole to the keyboard.
2. ProleSengs:
Customize prole sengs for your
keyboard.
3. Macros&LighngProles:
Create and manage your library of
macros and lighng proles, which
can be applied to prole sengs.
4. AddionalSengs:
Access to UI language sengs,
keyboard layout sengs, rmware
and soware version informaon,
prole reset, and more.

IntroducingProles
A prole is a collecon of sengs that
can be saved to the on-board memory of
your keyboard, allowing the customizaon
to follow the device, no maer which
computer it’s connected to. Each prole
contains a single complete layout of key
assignments, keyboard sengs, and
lighng eects.
This secon will help you manage your
proles.

Aer saving the prole to device
memory, further seng changes to the
“Customize”, “Seng”, and “Lighng” tab
will be automacally updated and saved
to the keyboard onboard memory.
Once the prole is saved to the keyboard,
a small keyboard icon will appear to the
le of the prole name.
LinkProgramtoaProle
You have the opon to automacally
load a prole when launching a certain
program.
Check the box next to “Link Program”
and select a *.exe le to link the selected
prole to a program.
SaveProletoDeviceMemory
Your RIPJAWS KM570 keyboard can store
a single prole within the keyboard
on-board memory. This includes 1 unique
set of keyboard sengs, including key
assignments, macros, lighng eects, and
more.
Aer creang a new Prole, remember
to click “Save to Device Memory” to save
that prole into the keyboard onboard
memory.

CopyaProle
Click the gear icon below the prole
name, then choose “Copy” from the list to
make an exact copy of the prole.
Export/ImportaProle
Click the gear icon below the prole
name, then choose “Export” (or “Import”)
from the list. A window will prompt you to
choose a locaon and a le name to save
(or load) the prole to (or from) a *.prole
le.
SaveaProle
When a new prole is created, any further
seng changes will not be automacally
saved to the onboard memory unl “Save
to Device Memory” is clicked.
To make sure the current prole sengs
are applied, click “Save to Device
Memory”.
CreateaProle
To create a new prole, click on the “+”
buon located under the prole name. A
new prole will be generated using default
sengs.
SelectaProle
Click the upside-down triangle to the right
of the prole name for a drop-down list
of available proles. If only one prole
is available, the drop-down list will be
unavailable.
DeleteaProle
Click the trash bin icon located below
the prole name to delete a prole. A
conrmaon dialogue window will pop up
to conrm the deleon. A prole cannot
be deleted if there are no other selectable
proles or if the prole is currently in use
by the device.

IntroducingProgrammableKeys
Under the “Customize” menu, you can
customize the funcon of each key on the
keyboard. When the mouse cursor hovers
over a programmable key, the display will
show the key (on the right) and its current
funcon (on the le).
Example: The image on the right shows
the “G” key, and the circular icon with a
slash shows its current funcon is set at
default.

CustomizeaProgrammableKey
Click on the key you wish to customize,
and a “Key Assignment” window will
pop up. Choose from the drop-down list
for the desired funcon. Macros can be
selected here to customize a parcular
key to a macro. Once the desired funcon
is selected, clicking “Save” will save the
seng to the keyboard onboard memory
and return to the “Customize” menu.

KeyAssignment
A variety of funcons can be assigned and
customized to a key. See below for a list of
funcons.
–Default
Sets the key to its default funcon.
–Keyboard
Press a keyboard key to assign its
funcon to the selected key.
–MouseFuncon
Sets a mouse funcon, such as le
click, right click, scroll click, double
click, scroll up/down, or forward/
backward to the selected key.
–WindowsShortcuts
Sets Windows funcons, such as open
task manager, open start menu, show
desktop, close window, cut, copy, and
paste.
–Mulmedia
Sets mulmedia playback funcons,
such as volume up/down, mute, play/
pause, and previous/next track.

Keys
–Macro
Sets a macro to the selected key.
Select a macro from the “Assign
Macro” drop-down menu to set a
programmed macro to the selected
key.
Addional opons can be set for the
macro to run once, mulple mes,
toggle funcon (press selected key
once to start, then press a second
me to stop), and connuous
acvaon while the key is held down.
To add or edit a macro, click on the
“+” buon or the pencil buon below
the “Playback Opon”. This will jump
to the Macro menu for you to make
further edits. To delete the currently
selected macro, click on the trash bin
icon.
–Text
Sets a text-only macro to the selected
key. Use the drop-down list to select a
text macro.
To add or edit a text macro, click on
the “+” buon or the pencil buon
below the drop-down list. This will
jump to the Text Macro menu for you
to make further edits. To delete the
currently selected text macro, click on
the trash bin icon.
–LaunchProgram
Opens a designated program (*.exe),
or opens a website in your default
browser.
–Disable
Disables the selected key.

IntroducingMacros
There are two kinds macros you can set:
keystroke macro and text macro.
Macros are a series of keypresses,
commands, and/or delays that can be set
to acvate when a certain key is pressed.
This may be useful for repeatable acons
by creang a string of keyboard shortcuts,
or to automacally insert a string of text
with a single keypress.
Use the keystroke macro if your macro
requires keystroke combinaons or
custom delays.
Use the text macro if you are looking to
insert a string of text.

Create a Macro
In the le column, click on the “+” buon
to create a new macro. Opons for
recording a macro will be available when a
macro is created.
DeleteaMacro
Click the trash bin icon below the macro
name to delete the current macro.
CopyaMacro
Click the gear icon below the macro name
and select “Copy” to make a duplicate of
the current macro.
Export/ImportaMacro
Click the gear icon below the macro name,
and select “Export” (or “Import”) to save
(or load) the macro to (or from) a *.macro
le.

RecordaMacro
Click the “Record” buon on the boom
of the le column to begin recording a
macro. The keystrokes and delays of the
recorded macro will appear in the middle
column.
Note: Before recording the macro, you
may choose to record the delay, use a
default delay, or no delays. Default delays
can be changed in 10ms increments. Type
“2” in the textbox for 20ms, and “20” for
200ms.
To end recording, click “Stop” on the
boom of the le column.
Tip: On some systems, a delay of 30ms
would work beer than 20ms for acons
such as accessing menus or switching
applicaons.

EditaRecordedMacro
You can delete or edit a specic macro
command, aer recording the macro.
To delete a specic macro command,
click on the macro command you wish to
delete, then click the trash bin icon on the
boom le of the middle column.
Note: If the keystroke has a related acon,
the related acon and delays will be
deleted at the same me. For example, a
recorded mouse click has a down-stroke,
delay, and up-stroke. Deleng either the
down-stroke or up-stroke will delete both
acons and the delay in between.
To edit a specic macro command, click
on the macro command you wish to
edit, then click on the pencil icon. A eld
will appear to allow you to change the
command.

InsertCommandsinaMacro
Click the keystroke locaon you wish to
insert an addional command. Then click
“Insert” on the boom of the middle
column. Opons will appear in the right
column to allow inserng before or aer
the selected keystroke command.
You can choose to customize a delay, then
click on “Record” in the right column to
insert addional keystroke commands.
Click “Save” to save the changes.
Tip: If you want the macro to repeat,
you can set “Toggle Macro On/O” or
“Connuous Repeat While Pressed”
when assigning a macro to a key in the
“Customize” menu. (Go to Customize >
[click a key] > Key Assignment > Macro >
Playback Opon)

UpdateEditedMacros
Aer a macro has been edited, click on
“Update Edited Macros” to make sure that
the macros saved in the keyboard onboard
memory are updated with any changes
that have been made.
The “Update Edited Macros” buon is also
accessible from the “Customize” tab.

Create a Text Macro
Click the “+” to create a new text
macro. Then type the desired text in the
textbox on the right. The changes will be
automacally saved.
EditaTextMacro
The text in the textbox can be edited
at any me, and the changes will be
automacally saved. To clear the text in
the textbox, click on “Clear” below the
textbox.
DeleteaTextMacro
To delete the currently selected text
macro, click on the trash bin icon below
the text macro name.
