alla misurazione della pressione sanguigna.
•Il misuratore potrebbe non rispettare le sue specifiche o causare rischi di sicurezza se conservato o
usato fuori dai valori di temperatura ed umidità specificati.
•Non utilizzare vicino a telefoni cellulari o altri dispositivi che generano interferenze
elettromagnetiche, poiché potrebbero causare letture errate.

•Non smontare il prodotto e non tentare di ripararlo.
•Non applicare la fascia su una ferita per evitare di peggiorarla.
•Non applicare la fascia su un arto utilizzato per infusioni o accessi vascolari: durante la misura la
fascia blocca il flusso sanguigno e potrebbe causare danno al paziente.
•Individui con seri problemi di arteriosclerosi o di aritmia non sono soggetti adatti alla misurazione
della pressione sanguigna.
•Individui con problemi circolatori possono riscontrare sensazioni non confortevoli durante la misura e
devono contattare il proprio medico prima dell’utilizzo.
•L’auto misurazione della pressione sanguigna non è una diagnosi medica. Se si riscontrano valori
non abituali si prega di consultare il medico. Per una visita professionale contattare il medico, non
effettuare auto-trattamenti sulla base delle misure effettuate con questo apparecchio.
•Consultare il medico se:
1) Si hanno dubbi riguardo all’applicazione del bracciale su una ferita o un’infiammazione;
2) Si hanno dubbi riguardo all’applicazione del bracciale su un arto con accesso intravascolare o
terapia, o su un by-pass arterio-venoso (A-V);
3) Si hanno dubbi riguardo all’applicazione del bracciale su un braccio a lato di una mastectomia;
4) Si è sotto trattamento medico, per determinare il momento della giornata in cui è più corretto
effettuare la misura della pressione.
5) Si soffre di aritmia atriale o ventricolare, costrizione vascolare, disordini al fegato, diabete,
oppure se si ha un pacemaker o polso debole, o se si è in gravidanza: questi fattori potrebbero
generare misure errate.
6) Sullo stesso arto sono presenti altri strumenti di misura.
7) Occorre controllare la circolazione sanguigna del paziente.
•Se durante il processo di misurazione della pressione sono rilevati battiti irregolari dati da normali
aritmie, il simbolo IHB sarà mostrato. In questa condizione l’apparecchio funziona, ma i risultati
possono essere non accurati, e si suggerisce di consultare il medico per una misura più corretta.
Maneggiare le batterie in modo appropriato. Quando si esauriscono, sostituirle con delle nuove.
•Non utilizzare insieme batterie vecchie e nuove. Allineare in modo corretto la polarità delle batterie.
•Se non si utilizza il dispositivo per oltre tre mesi, rimuovere le batterie. In caso contrario le batterie
potrebbero avere delle perdite, causando danni al dispositivo.
•Ingoiare le batterie e/o il fluido delle batterie è estremamente pericoloso. Mantenere le batterie ed il
prodotto fuori dalla portata di bambini e di persone con ridotte capacità fisiche.
UTILIZZO ATTESO
Lo Sfigmomanomentro Automatico Elettronico è utilizzato da medici professionisti o in casa ed è un
sistema di misura non invasivo della pressione sanguigna, utilizzato per misurare la pressione sistolica e
diastolica e la frequenza cardiaca in soggetti adulti tramite una tecnica non invasiva in cui un bracciale
gonfiabile è arrotolato attorno al braccio.
GUIDA ALL’AVVIO RAPIDO
Ogni attività fisica, stati di eccitazione o stress, alimentazione, consumo di bevande alcoliche, fumo,
postura del corpo e molte altre attività o fattori (incluso l’atto di auto misurazione della pressione
sanguigna) influenzano I valori della pressione sanguigna. Per questo motivo è poco probabile ottenere
in misurazioni multiple valori di pressione identici.
La pressione sanguigna fluttua costantemente, giorno e notte. Generalmente valori più elevati appaiono di
giorno mentre valori più bassi appaiono intorno alla mezzanotte. Solitamente i valori cominciano a salire
a partire dalle tre del mattino e raggiungono il proprio picco durante la giornata, quando si è in genere
svegli e attivi. Considerando le informazioni sopra elencate, si raccomanda di misurare la pressione
sanguigna approssimativamente alla stessa ora ogni giorno.
Misurazioni troppo frequenti posso causare danni a causa dell’interferenza con la circolazione sanguigna,
si raccomanda fortemente di rilassarsi per un minimo di un minuto, un minuto e mezzo tra una

misurazione ed un’altra per consentire alla circolazione
sanguigna del braccio di riprendere regolarmente. E’ molto
raro ottenere valori identici in misurazioni consecutive.

PREPARAZIONE ALL’USO
INSERIMENTO DELLE BATTERIE
a. Aprire il vano batterie.
b. Inserire due batterie “AAA”. Si prega di fare attenzione alla
polarità.
c. Richiudere il vano batterie.
Quando il monitor LCD mostra il seguente simbolo ,
sostituire tutte le batterie con delle nuove. Le batterie
ricaricabili non sono adatte a questo dispositivo. Rimuovere le
batterie se si prevede di non utilizzare il dispositivo per oltre un
mese, per evitare danni causati dalla perdita di liquido dalle batterie.
Evitare che il liquido dalle batterie entri in contatto con gli occhi. In caso di contatto del liquido con gli
occhi, sciacquare immediatamente con abbondante acqua pulita e contattare un medico.
IMPOSTARE LA PERSONA A CUI ATTRIBUIRE LA MISURA
Il misuratore di pressione è dotato di una memoria che contiene 120
misurazioni. Tali misurazioni sono divise in 2 gruppi da 60 misure.
Nel caso in cui 2 persone utilizzino l’apparecchio, si consiglia di
associare una persona al gruppo di misurazione 1, e l’altra al gruppo di
misurazione 2.
Con dispositivo spento premere il tasto SET (8), l’icona del gruppo di
misure lampeggia.
Premere il tasto M per selezionare il gruppo a cui attribuire la misura e confermare con START/STOP.
Le successive misure verranno salvate nel gruppo impostato. Se cambia la persona ricordarsi di
cambiare il gruppo di attribuzione.
IMPOSTARE ORA E DATA
1) Dopo aver impostato la persona a cui attribuire le misure, premere nuovamente il tasto SET (8) per
entrare in modalità settaggio orologio.
2) La cifra dei mesi lampeggia. Impostare il mese con il tasto M (6).
3) Premere il tasto SET per passare ai giorni ed impostarli con il tasto M.
4) Ripetere l’operazione per le ore ed i minuti.
5) Confermare le impostazioni premendo il tasto START/STOP (7).

COLLEGARE IL BRACCIALE AL DISPOSITIVO
Il bracciale è collegato al dispositivo all’interno della confezione. Se il
bracciale dovesse staccarsi sarà sufficiente allineare gli alloggiamenti e le
staffe del bracciale a quelli presenti sul dispositivo. Premere poi il
bracciale contro il dispositivo fino a quando sarà assicurato.
BRACCIALE DA POLSO e POSTURA
a. Posizionare il bracciale attorno al polso scoperto, a circa 1-2 cm al di
sopra dell’articolazione del polso, dal lato del palmo della mano.
b. Stando seduti, distendere davanti al corpo il braccio sul quale si è
indossato il dispositivo su un tavolo o una scrivania. Se il bracciale è
posizionato correttamente sarà possibile leggere lo schermo LCD.
c. Il bracciale non deve essere né troppo stretto né troppo largo.
NOTA BENE:
-Misurare sempre sullo stesso polso
-Non muovere il braccio, il corpo o il monitor durante la misura
-Stare fermo e calmo per 5 minuti prima della misura.
-Attendere 3 minuti tra una misura e l’altra.
-Sedere con i piedi ben poggiati al pavimento, non accavallare o incrociare le
gambe. Appoggiare il gomito ad una superficie piana come un tavolo o una
scrivania, con il palmo della mano rivolto verso l’alto. Posizionare il braccio in
modo che il bracciale abbia il suo punto medio all’altezza dell’atrio destro del cuore.
-Mantenere la polsiera pulita. Se diventa sporca, rimuoverla dal misuratore e lavarla a mano con
detergente neutro, poi sciacquarla in acqua fredda. Non asciugare in asciugatrice, nè
stirarla. Si raccomanda di pulire la polsiera ogni 200 usi.
MISURAZIONE
a. Dopo aver indossato il bracciale ed aver assunto una posizione comoda, premere il
tasto “START/STOP”fino a sentire un beep. Tutti i caratteri del display si attivano
per l’auto test di accensione, come mostrato in figura a lato.
NOTA: se vi è aria residua nella polsiera l’apparecchio non funziona. Il display indica
finchè la pressione non si è stabilizzata.
b. Il dispositivo inizierà a gonfiare il bracciale fino a raggiungere una pressione
sufficiente ad effettuare una misurazione. Successivamente il dispositivo rilascerà
lentamente aria dal bracciale ed effettuerà la misurazione. Durante questo tempo
rimanere rilassati.
c. La pressione sanguigna e il battito cardiaco verranno infine calcolati e compariranno
sul display. In caso di irregolarità del battito cardiaco, il simbolo IHB lampeggerà
sul display. Il risultato sarà registrato nell’unità di memoria.
d. Se si vuole cancellare la misura effettuata, perché errata, premere il tasto SET (8)
quando il display mostra i risultati.
e. Dopo la misurazione il dispositivo si spegnerà automaticamente dopo 3 minuti di inattività. In
alternativa premere il pulsante “START/STOP” per spegnere il dispositivo.
Nota: consultare un medico professionista per l’interpretazione dei risultati delle misurazioni.
VISUALIZZARE RISULTATI MEMORIZZATI
Con dispositivo spento è possibile consultare i risultati all’interno della
banca dati premendo il pulsante “M” (6). Vengono mostrati i dati del
gruppo/persona impostato ( o )
-Alla prima pressione del tasto M, viene visualizzata la media degli

ultimi 3 test (indicata della scritta “Ave”(11).
-Alla seconda pressione si visualizza l’ultima misura (01).
-Alle successive pressioni vengono visualizzate le misure più vecchie (02, 03, 04, ecc).
CANCELLARE DALLA MEMORIA I RISULTATI DELLE MISURAZIONI
Per cancellare la memoria (ATTENZIONE: tutte le misure di un gruppo, non una sola), Premere il
tasto SET per 3 secondi. Per cancellare un’unica misura occorre farlo al termine della misurazione stessa,
come descritto nel paragrafo precedente.
VALUTARE LA PRESSIONE ALTA NEI SOGGETTI ADULTI
Le seguenti line guida per valutare se la pressione sanguigna sia eccessivamente alta (senza considerare
sesso ed età) sono state stabilite dall’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità (OMS). Si prega di
considerare che numerosi fattori come diabete, obesità e fumo debbono essere presi in considerazione.
Per un’accurata interpretazione dei dati si consiglia pertanto di consultare il medico e si ricorda di non
modificare eventuali terapie di propria iniziativa.

CONSERVAZIONE E MANUTENZIONE
1. Non lasciar cadere il dispositivo e non sottoporlo a forti impatti.
2. Evitare le alte temperature e polarizzazione. Non immergere il dispositivo in acqua: non è
impermeabile.
3. Se si conserva il dispositivo vicino a fonti di freddo, lasciare che il dispositivo torni a temperature
ambiente prima dell’uso (circa 30 minuti).
4. Non tentare di disassemblare il dispositivo.
5. Se non si utilizza il dispositivo per lunghi periodi, si prega di estrarre le batterie.
6. Si raccomanda di controllare le prestazioni del dispositivo ogni due anni o dopo eventuali riparazioni.
Si prega di contattare il centro servizi.
7. Pulire il dispositivo con un panno morbido e asciutto, o con un panno ben strizzato dopo essere stato
bagnato con acqua, disinfettanti a base di alcol, detergenti liquidi.

8. Si raccomanda di disinfettare il bracciale due volte la settimana se necessario (ad esempio in ospedali
e cliniche). Strofinare il lato interno del bracciale (quello a contatto con la pelle) con un panno ben
strizzato dopo essere stato bagnato con Alcol Etilico (75% - 90%), lasciare il bracciale ad asciugarsi
tramite esposizione all’aria.
9. Non effettuare manutenzione se l’apparecchio è in uso.

•The patient is an intended operator.
•Please do not use other cuff than the one supplied by the manufacturer, otherwise it may bring
biocompatible hazard and might result in measurement error.
•Please do not share the cuff with other infective person to avoid cross-infection.
•Babies, young children or individuals who cannot express their consent are not suitable to take blood
pressure measurement.
•The monitor might not meet its performance specifications or cause safety hazard if stored or used
outside the specified temperature and humidity ranges in specifications.
•Do not use the device near to strong electrical or electromagnetic fields generated by cell phones or
other, they may cause incorrect readings and interference or become interference source to the device.
•Do not disassemble the unit or cuff. Do not attempt to repair.
•The cuff should not be applied over a wound as this can cause further injury.
•DO NOT attach the cuff to a limb being used for IV infusions or any other intravascular access,
therapy or an arterio-venous (A-V) shunt. The cuff inflation can temporarily block blood flow,
potentially causing harm to the patient.
•Individuals with serious arteriosclerosis or arythmia are not suitable to take blood pressure measure.
•Individuals with serious circulation problems may experience discomfort. Consult your physician

prior to use.
•Do not confuse self-monitoring with self-diagnosis. If there are unusual values, consult your
doctor. Blood pressure measurements should only be interpreted by a health professional who is
familiar with your medical history.
•Do not attempt self-treatment without consulting your physician first.
•
1) you have doubt about the application of the cuff over a wound or inflammation diseases;
2) you have doubt about the application of the cuff on any limb where intravascular access or
therapy, or an arterio-venous (A-V) shunt, is present;
3) you have doubt about the application of the cuff on the arm on the side of a mastectomy;
4) you are under medical treatment, to determine the moment of the day in which is more correct to
take the measurement of the blood pressure.
5) you suffer of atrial or ventricular arrhythmias, vascular constriction, liver disorders or diabetes,
or if you have cardiac pacemakers or a weak pulse, or if you are pregnant: these factors may
produce incorrect readings
6) Simultaneously used with other monitoring medical equipment on the same limb.
7) Need to check the blood circulation of the user.
•If Irregular Heartbeat (IHB) brought by common arrhythmias is detected in the procedure of blood
pressure measurement, a signal IHB will be displayed. Under this condition, the Electronic
Sphygmomanometers can keep function, but the results may not be accurate, it’s suggested that you
consult with your physician for accurate assessment. Handling batteries properly. As soon as old
batteries run out, replace with new batteries.
•Do not use old and new batteries together. Align the polarities of batteries correctly.
•When the unit will not be used for more than 3 months, remove the batteries. Otherwise, batteries
may leak and cause damage to the unit.
•Swallowing batteries and/or battery fluid can be extremely dangerous. Keep the batteries and the unit
out of the reach of children and disabled persons.
INTENDED USE
Fully Automatic Electronic Sphygmomanometer is for use by medical professionals or at home and is a
non-invasive blood pressure measurement system intended to measure the diastolic and systolic blood
pressures and pulse rate of an adult individual by using a non-invasive technique in which an inflatable
cuff is wrapped around the upper arm.
QUICK START GUIDE
All physical activity, excitement, stress, eating, drinking, smoking, body posture and many other activities
or factors (including taking a blood pressure measurement) will influence blood pressure value. Because
of this, it is mostly unusual to obtain identical multiple blood pressure readings.
Blood pressure fluctuates continually day and night. The highest value usually appears in the daytime and
lowest one usually at midnight. Typically, the value begins to increase at around 3:00AM, and reaches to
highest level in the daytime while most people are awake and active.
Considering the above information, it is recommended that you measure your blood pressure at
approximately the same time each day.
Too frequent measurements may cause injury due to blood flow interference, please always relax a
minimum of 1 to 1.5 minutes between measurements to allow the blood circulation in your arm to
recover. It is rare that you obtain identical blood pressure readings each time.

PREPARATION
BATTERY LOADING
a. Open battery cover.
b. Load two “AAA” size batteries. Please pay attention to polarity.
c. Close the battery cover.
When LCD shows battery symbol ,replace all batteries with new ones.
Rechargeable batteries are not suitable for this monitor. Remove the batteries if the monitor will not be
used for a month or more to avoid relevant damage of battery leakage.
Avoid the battery fluid to get in your eyes. If it should get in your eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of
clean water and contact a physician.
SET THE USER FOR MEASURE SAVING
The device is equipped with a memory containing 120 measures.
These memories are divided in 2 groups of 60 measures each.
In case 2 persons use the appliance, you have to associate one user to
the memory group 1, and the other user to the group 2.
With device off, press button SET (8), the icon of the group flashes.
Press button M (6) to select the memory group in which save the
measure, then confirm with START/STOP.
Following measures will be saved in the group set. If the person changes, remember to change user.
CLOCK AND DATE ADJUSTMENT
1) After setting the user, press again the button SET (8) to enter Clock setting Mode.
2) The digits of the months flash. Set the month with the button M (6).
3) Press SET to pass to the days and set with button M.
4) Repeat operation for hours and minutes.
5) Confirm settings by pressing START/STOP (7).
CONNECTING THE CUFF TO THE MONITOR
The cuff is attached to the monitor when it is packaged. If cuff become
unattached, align the two plugs and four brackets of the cuff with the plug sockets and bracket sockets of
the monitor and press the cuff to the monitor until the plugs and brackets are securely attached.
WRIST CUFF and BODY POSTURE
Place the cuff around a bare wrist 1-2cm above the wrist joint on the palm side
of the wrist. While seated, place the arm with the cuffed wrist in front of your
body on a desk or table with the palm up. If the cuff is correctly placed, you
can read the LCD display. The cuff must be neither too tight nor too loose.
NOTE:
-Always measure the same wrist.
-Do not move arm, body or monitor during measure.
-Stay still and quiet for 5 minutes before measuring.
-Wait 3 minutes between 2 measurements.
-Be seated with your feet flat on the floor, and don’t cross your legs. Place
palm upside in front of you on a flat surface such as a desk or table. The
middle of the cuff should be at the level of the right atrium of the heart.
-Keep the cuff clean. If the cuff becomes dirty, remove it from the monitor and
clear it by hand in a mild detergent, then rinse it thoroughly in cold water.
Never dry the cuff in clothes dryer or iron it. Clean the cuff after the usage of
every 200 times is recommended.

MEASURING
After applying the cuff and your body is in a comfortable position, press the
“START/STOP” button until you ear a beep. All display characters are shown for self-
test. See picture.
NOTE: Unit will not function if residual air from previous testing is present in cuff.
The LCD will flash until pressure is stabilized.
a. The monitor inflates the cuff until sufficient pressure has built up for a
measurement. Then the monitor slowly releases air from the cuff and carries out the
measurement. Keep relaxed during testing. Avoid speaking or moving body parts.
b. Finally the blood pressure and pulse rate will be calculated and displayed on the
LCD screen separately. In case of irregular heartbeat the symbol (IHB) will blink..
The result will be automatically stored in the memory bank.
c. If you want to cancel the measure because wrong, press the "SET" button after
result is displayed.
d. After measurement, the monitor will turn off automatically after 3 minutes of no
operation. Alternatively, you can press the “START/STOP” button to turn off the
monitor manually.
Note: Please consult a health care professional for interpretation of pressure measurements.
DISPLAYING STORED RESULTS
You can review the results in the memory bank by pressing the “M”
button (6). The data of the set group/user are shown ( or ).
With device off, press button “M”(6).
-At the first pressing, the LCD displays the average of last 3 tests
(indicated by “Ave”(11).
-At the second pressing the LCD displays the last measurement (01).
-Pressing again the M button the LCD displays previous measurements (02, 03, 04, ecc).
DELETING MEASUREMENTS FROM THE MEMORY
To cancel the memory (WARNING: all the memories of a group, not only one), press the button SET
for 3 seconds. Cancelling only one measure is possible only at the end of the measure itself, as described
in previous paragraph.
ASSESSING HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE FOR ADULTS
The following guidelines for assessing high blood pressure (without regard to age or gender) have been
established by the World Health Organization (WHO). Please note that other factors (e.g. diabetes,
obesity, smoking, etc.) need to be taken into consideration. Consult with your physician for accurate
assessment, and never change your treatment by yourself.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Do not drop this monitor or subject it to strong impact.
2. Avoid high temperature and solarization. Do not immerse the monitor in water as this will result in
damage to the monitor. If this monitor is stored near freezing, allow it to acclimate to room
temperature before use (around 30 minutes).
3. If you do not use the monitor for a long time, please remove the batteries.
4. It is recommended the performance should be checked every 2 years or after repair. Please contact the
service center. Do not attempt to disassemble this monitor.
5. Clean the monitor with a dry, soft cloth or a soft cloth squeezed well after moistened with water,
diluted disinfectant alcohol, or diluted detergent.
6. It is recommended the cuff should be disinfected 2 times every week if needed (For example, in
hospital or in clinique). Wipe the inner side (the side contacts skin) of the cuff by a soft cloth
squeezed after moistened with Ethyl alcohol (75-90%), then dry the cuff by airing.
