User's Manual For Antenna Built-in Repeater
1、Gainer Series repeater is applied specifically in solving small area indoor poor
signal problems. It uses receiving antennas put the base station signal into
Gainer series repeater by cable. The amplified signals is transmitted by indoor
antenna. Meanwhile the indoor antenna will receive the cell phone signal, and
send the signal to the base station as uplink. Gainer series repeater can
eliminate the signal dead spot, reject the interference, provide the stable signal
and good communication for cell phone users.
2、Characteristics
2.1、Intelligent mode
Gainer series repeater with intelligent function, it detects signal input and equipment
output. When input signal is too high, system will be adjustment and set specification to meet
the equipments normal output power automatically. This function can ensure the equipment
don’t increase interference to BTS due to changes of outside signal.
2.2、Prevent self-excited function
Under working, our repeater can automatically detect oscillation between the donor
antenna and service antenna. If don’t meet system installation requirements, repeater will
reduce gain automatically and ensure don’t self-excited, avoiding that due to changes of
installation environment lead to equipment abnormal working bring any interference and noise
into the network.
2.3、Uplink dormancy function/ Uplink Switching Off (Optional）
When working, our repeater can detect the cell phone signal strength automatically.
When there is no uplink power received（No call is making）, the uplink path will be shut off by
the repeater. This function can prevent the system from the interference. When the uplink
power is detected, the repeater uplink path will open automatically, so the communication is
established.

2.4、Low carbon green
Our repeaters with low transmit power, small size and saving energy features. Its signal is
only mill watts and lesser than mobile phone transmit power, no electromagnetic pollution and
no make any inference to people healthy, it belong of low carbon green product. After using
the repeater, since improving the signal quality, so it can reduce the radiation is brought by
using mobile phone.
2.5、easy installation
Perfect indication for working statue will show the repeater correctly, it made installation
and operation more convenient and easy. It no need professional instrumentation of
cooperation, from installation to cover the signal, it only takes about half an hour.

2.1 Receiving antennas installation
In indoor, using mobile phone check which direction and position can receive the strongest
signal as receiving antennas position. Usually will choose on the part of balcony window, inner
wall of balcony or the outer wall of air condition exit as receiving antenna position( receiving
antennas position is higher above 1 meter than repeater position, horizontal distance above 4
meters, receiving antenna don’t stick on metal). Receiving antenna need to set on edge, show
as the picture bellow:

2.2、Repeater installation
Repeater need to back to receiving antenna or with receiving antenna to be 90 degrees
for setting, facing to indoor poor or dead area, this position lower than receiving antenna
above 1 meter, horizontal distance from receiving above 4 meters and it will be better if
close power supply.( repeater can’t face to receiving antennas position directly)

2.5、Put 50-3 of cable connect receiving antenna, the other end connect
repeater.(if the connector in outdoor, needing waterproof tag to protect it)
2.6、Power adapter connect 220v of power supply, its output DC6V connect
repeaters power socket.
2.7、Power on the repeater, install the receiving antenna, adjust the position
and direction of antenna, check the LED indicators of repeater, if the ISO
Alarm indicator is Green, it means receiving antennas and repeaters
isolation is meet the requirements and can do the signal testing. if the ISO
Alarm indicator is red, need to power off and adjust receiving antennas
position( remove up) or moving repeater(stay away receiving antenna) then
power on again, the ISO Alarm indicator is Green, Isolation is meet the
requirements, repeater working is normal. If ISO Alarm indicator is Red
and with the distance between receiving antenna and repeater (above 4
meters), which can do the signal testing, if the signal receiving meet
requirements, repeater can use.

2.8、Fix receiving antenna on window of glass or wall by double tape.
2.9、After install, testing the communication quality by mobile phone.
2.10、Only when the OP Alarm is red, the repeater won’t be used, this moment
repeater will automatically shut down uplink and downlink amplifier and under power off
working state, so please shut down power supply. Adjusting the straight distance
between receiving antenna and repeater, repeaters position. After that the OP Alarm still
is red and not in working state, then need to send back factory to repair.
2.11、
Repeater has interference and protects circuit, but in any it doesn’t interfere
BTS, the worst case is the repeater can’t work. So as long as ensure receiving antenna
and repeaters isolation is proper, no need to do any adjustment, then it can up to cover
effect.

ISO off—Normal, Red on-- Antenna isolation is 15dB lower than the
isolation for equipment installation, adjusting for donor antenna and
service antenna is needed.

6、Q&A and Attentions
Questions:
Q 001: Power Indicator off
Reason:
（a）Power is not connected correctly
Solution:
（a）Plug in the power supply, make sure the electric is available
Q 002: ISO Alarm faulty indictor is blinking or red after adjust the antenna
Reason:
（a）Cable connector is lose or the cable standing wave is not good or cable
connector didn’t connect proper,
（b）Donor antenna not in good order
（c）Direction of Donor antenna is not proper
Q 0024: repeater and antennas distance isn’t enough.
Solution:
（a）Check the cable connector carefully, make sure the connector is fixed well.
（b）Check donor antenna, change it if broken.
（c）Adjust the direction of donor antenna.

3) Q 003: Indicator is normal, but signal strength didn’t enhanced
Reason:
（a）Service antenna not in good order.
（b）Connection of service antenna and repeater MS port is not connected well.
Solution:
（a）Check service antenna, change it if broken.
（b）Check connection between service antenna and repeater, make sure the
connection is proper and well.
3) Q 0036: Repeaters haven’t faced the coverage.
Solution:
1. Repeater must be stand and adjust repeaters position.
2. Receiving antenna must be stand and adjust its position.
3. Check receiving antennas whether is broken, it need to be replaced if
necessary
4. Check the connector carefully; make sure the connector is fixed well
5. Check the cable connector whether is poor connect, it need to be replaced
if necessary.
6. Adjust receiving antenna and repeaters position, put repeater face to
coverage.

7．Antentions
1) 4.1 It’s better to make receiving antenna and repeaters isolated by wall. Within 3 meters
distance at straight sight is forbidden. Otherwise the repeater can not work in order
2) 4.2 The after end of receiving antenna should be pointed towards outside, pointed to
the signal source direction
3) 4.3 Make sure the connections between repeater and antenna through is fixed tighten
and well. Otherwise the coverage might not good.
4) 4.4 Our standard power adaptor is AC220V, DC 6V, Please pay attention to the voltage
range.
5) 4.5 This series repeaters are for indoor use only, temperature range should be: -5~45℃,
please avoid of humidity and rain.
4.6 When testing the repeater, please wait for the ISO Alarm after red light blinking slowly
then process signal testing, in order to avoid error of test data.
