DVD Remote Control for PlayStation 2
This remote control allows you to control the CD and DVD functions of the PlayStation2 console.
Note: This remote control will not operate any other device.
Recommended Batteries: 2 X AAA alkaline batteries.
To Use: See below for the complete list of functions for the DVD remote control. ( see figure.1 )
Using your DVD Remote Control
• Power down your PlayStation2 and insert the Through Port into Game Controller Port 1. ( see figure.2 )
• Turn on the PlayStation2 and insert a DVD film.
IMPORTANT – Make sure you press the G/R button to select between the DVD Remote and Game Controller functions.
To operate the DVD Remote, this must be selected and a green light will appear on the Through Port.
When the on-screen menu appears, scroll down using the DIRECTION keys and select the PLAY option.
Press the ENTER key to confirm.
You can access the on-screen menu at any time by pressing either the SELECT key or the DVD MENU key at any time.
Using your Controller
• Power down your PlayStation2 plug in the controller jack into the Through Port.
• Turn on the PlayStation2 and press the G/R button to select the Game Controller function.
IMPORTANT
• Only use the recommended batteries.
• To insert or remove the batteries, remove the cover of the battery compartment. Care must be taken to ensure
that the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity, as shown on the battery compartment and battery.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type are to be used.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Replace batteries at the same time. Different types of battery or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
• Store unused batteries away from metal objects that may cause a short circuit.
• Remove exhausted batteries immediately.
• Remove the batteries if the product is not being used for a long time.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
• Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
• Store the product away from dust and dirt.
• Keep the product away from moisture.
• Do not disassemble the product.
