1. Lay out and identify all the components
2. Place the Stand (E) on a flat surface, put the Fuel Bowl (D) on Stand (E).
3. Attach Screen Handle (A) to the Spark Guard Screen (B) by inserting the handle into the hole and
securing with pre-assembled Nut.
4. Put the charcoal Grid (C) into the Fuel Bowl (D) and put the Spark Guard Screen (B) onto Fuel
Bowl (D).
5. The assembly is now complete.

1. Présentez et identifiez tous les composants
2. Placez le support (E) sur une surface plate, posez le récipient à braises (D) sur le support (E).
3. Fixez la poignée de la grille de protection (A) au pare étincelle (B) en insérant la poignée dans le
trou et fixez le avec l’écrou pré assemblé.
4. Posez la grille à charbon de bois (C) dans le récipient à braises (D) et mettez le pare étincelle (B) sur
le récipient à braises (D).
5. L’assemblage est maintenant terminé.

USER INSTRUCTIONS OUTDOORS
Please read the following instructions and recommendations and use CAUTION at all times for the safe enjoyment of your fire
bowl. Please keep these instructions in a safe place so you can read them again from time to time.
· ALWAYS FOLLOW THE USER INSTRUCTIONS. Failure to do so may result in personal accidents or fires spreading to property.
Please remember, you are dealing with a real fire.
· PLACE your fire bowl on a FLAT surface; you should NOT place it on a sloping surface where the fire might tip over.
· This should be a NON-FLAMMABLE surface such as stone, gravel or bricks. Do not place on grass which may turn brown. Do not
place on wood which may turn brown or catch fire. DO NOT PLACE ON DECKING which may turn brown or catch fire.
Protect wooden decking with a Gardeco FLOOR PROTECTOR or use bricks or concrete slabs.
· DO NOT place your fire bowl near bushes or plants or under trees; the heat will damage the leaves and is a fire risk.
· DO NOT place your fire bowl under an awning; it will burn or melt.
· DO NOT place your fire bowl near garden furniture, especially made of fabric or woven plastic, which may melt or catch fire.
We recommend at least one metre minimum distance.
· DO NOT make a real fire inside a conservatory or summer house or shed; real fires are designed to be outside, and fumes
emanating from the fire made with wood, coal or charcoal are toxic and dangerous to health. Carbon monoxide gas has no
colour nor odour and is deadly.
· DO NOT touch the fire bowl when burning; the surface is hot and you will burn your fingers; protect your hands with a Gardeco
FIRE GLOVE. We recommend that gloves are used at all times.
· DO NOT allow children, especially small children, near the fire. Do not allow pets near the fire.
· DO NOT allow children to play or run around the fire. Prevent small children coming close to the fire.
· DO NOT over fuel the fire. If flames are coming out of the top of the fire bowl, then the fire is too large.
· DO NOT PANIC if fuel falls out of the fire bowl or for any reason flames spread out from the fire, simply extinguish spreading
flames with earth or sand or water or use a Gardeco FIRE BLANKET immediately.
. DO NOT throw water on a real fire other than in an extreme emergency.
· DO NOT use petrol, paraffin or similar substances as fire lighters or as a fuel. The best method is balled newspaper and
kindling, such as Gardeco OCOTE sticks. The best fuel is wood or charcoal.
· REMOVE the charcoal grill when not burning charcoal.
· NEVER LEAVE A BURNING FIRE BOWL UNATTENDED. Failure to do so may result in the fire spreading out of control and dam
age or destruction of property. Please ensure the fire is completely out before leaving the fire bowl unattended.
· DO NOT attempt to move a fire bowl while the fire is burning.
· We advise against using a fire bowl when it is windy or in the case of drought. Strong wind may tip the fire over which is a fire
risk. Wind may also disperse burning material, which is a fire risk, particularly if the environment is dry as in the case of a
drought.
· Please be a good neighbour and be reasonable in the use of your patio fire, keep smoke and noise to a minimum.

· Cela doit être une surface NON INFLAMMABLE comme de la pierre, du gravier ou des briques. Ne la placez pas sur de l’herbe
qui pourrait virer au brun ou s’enflammer. NE PAS PLACER SUR UNE TERRASSE EN BOIS qui pourrait virer au brun ou
s’enflammer.
· NE PAS placer Brasero sous un auvent ou store ; il s'enflammera ou fondra.
· NE PAS placer votre feu d’extérieur près de votre mobilier de jardin surtout s’il contient des matières plastiques qui
pourraient fondre ou s’enflammer. Nous vous recommandons de maintenir votre Brasero à une distance de 1 mètre minimum.
CONSEILS D’UTILISATION POUR L’EXTERIEUR

· NE PAS faire un vrai feu à l’intérieur d’une véranda, d’un abri de jardin. Les Braseros à bois, à charbon ou à charbon de bois ne
peuvent être utilisées qu’à l’extérieur parce que la fumée et les gaz du feu sont toxiques et dangereux pour la santé. Le
monoxyde de carbone n’a pas de couleur ni d’odeur mais il peut causer de grave dommage à votre santé
pouvant aller jusqu’à la mort.
· NE PAS toucher un feu d’extérieur lorsque le feu est allumé, la surface est chaude et vous vous brûleriez les doigts et les mains.
Protégez vos mains avec les GANTS ANTI-FEU de GARDECO. Nous vous recommandons de toujours utiliser ces gants.
· NE laissez PAS les enfants, sur les plus petits d’être près du feu. Ne laissez pas vos animaux domestiques près du feu.
· NE laissez PAS Les enfants jouer et courir près du feu. Empêcher les plus petits de s’approcher du feu.
· NE provoquez pas de grandes flammes intempestives : si les flammes sortent du conduit vertical de la Brasero, votre feu doit
être immédiatement ralenti.
· NE PANIQUEZ PAS si des matières embrasées sortent accidentellement de la Brasero ou si le feu se propage hors de la
Brasero, éteignez les avec du sable ou de la terre ou de l'eau ou recouvrez les immédiatement avec la couverture anti feu "FI-
BLANKET" de Gardeco pour éteindre les flammes .
· NE JAMAIS jeter de l'eau sur un vrai feu a moins d’un cas d'extrême urgence.
· NE PAS utiliser de pétrole, de paraffine, ou d’allume feu pour allumer votre feu. La meilleure méthode est d’utiliser du papier
journal ou des brindilles sèches, tel que les bâtons OCOTE de Gardeco. Le meilleur combustible est le bois ou charbon.
Enlever la grille à charbon lorsque vous n’utilisez pas la Brasero avec du charbon.
· NE JAMAIS LAISSER UN FEU D’EXTERIEUR SANS SURVEILLANCE. Tout manquement à cette règle pourrait provoquer une propa
gation du feu tel que vous ne pourriez pas le contrôler, et entrainerait des dommages matériels et corporels. Assurez-vous
SVP que le feu soit complètement éteint avant de laisser votre feu d’extérieur sans surveillance.
· NE PAS essayer de déplacer un feu d’extérieur si le feu n’est pas complètement éteint.
· Nous sommes contre l'utilisation d’un feu d’extérieur quand il y a du vent ou situation de sècheresse. Un vent violent peut faire
sortir les flammes et aussi disperser des matières incandescentes, ce qui représente un grand risque d'incendie si
l’environnement est sec et particulièrement en cas de sècheresse.
· SOYEZ un bon voisin en faisant un feu d’extérieur de façon raisonnable et veillez à maintenir la fumée et le bruit du feu à un
niveau acceptable par votre voisinage.
SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR FIRE BOWL
· Use your fire bowl or real patio fire for warmth and cooking, fire bowls are beautiful to look at and can be used as garden
decorations.
· You may use dry wood logs, charcoal, coal or briquettes for fuel. fire bowls and other patio fires can be used to burn garden
refuse such as leaves or branches. DO NOT throw fuel into a fire bowl. Wet logs will create a lot of smoke.
· Gardeco sell a range of woods and fuels suitable for use in fire bowls and fire pits, responsibly sourced from managed
forests. When cooking use suitable fuels such as wood or charcoal. Some man-made fuels are not suitable for cooking. Read
instructions carefully.
· To start a fire use domestic fire lighters or balled newspaper and kindling.
· The best and most natural way to start the fire is Gardeco Ocote fire lighters. Ocote is a high resin content pinewood from
Central America, one or two sticks are enough to light a fire.
· For a fire without firelighters or kindling, use the smokeless Gardeco FIRELOG, a wax impregnated sawdust briquette, wrapped
in paper. Just light both ends of the paper and the log will burn for about 2½ hours. You cannot use Gardeco Fire Logs for
cooking.
· Protect hands with Gardeco FIRE GLOVES when adding fuel. The more fuel is added, the more intense the heat, the larger the
flames. Do not over-fuel the fire.
· Use a Gardeco POKER to reposition logs inside the patio fire.
· Safety is our main concern, so please be careful at all times
· Cast iron fire bowls are very heavy. At least two people must carry one fire bowl. Failure to do so may result in back injury or
accidents. When moving the fire bowl, make sure each person is holding it by the side handle and the top of the funnel- do not
hold it in just one place.
· Wood fuels burn by drawing air from above whilst charcoal and coal also need air from underneath. Some products are
supplied with a charcoal grill and some have a BBQ grill. If you are using wood alone, you do not need a charcoal grill. If you are
not cooking on your fire bowl, you may decide to remove the BBQ grill if there is one in your fire bowl.
