The machine must onlybe installed and commissioned byqualified personnel!
Allrelevant safetyregulationsmust be strictlyadhered to!
If the machineisdelivered withoutatable, besuretouseastand and tabletopthatcanholdthe
weight of the machine withitsmotor.
It isvery importanttoensurethat the stand ofthe machine isfirmand steady, alsoduring
sewing.
6.01 Installation
The sitewherethe machine isinstalledmust be provided withsuitableconnectionsforelectric
current.
It must beensured that the standing surfaceofthe machine siteisfirmand horizontal,and that
sufficientlighting isprovided for.
Forpacking and transportation reasonsthe tabletop isinthelowered position.The
tableheightisadjusted asdescribed below.

6.02 ●Check the machine, particularlythe electrical wriringforanydamage.
●Clean the machine thoroughtlyand then oil it orfill oilin (see Chapter 11 Care and
maintenance).
●Haveamechaniccheck whetherthe motorofthe machine can be operated withthe
availablepowersupply, and thatthe motoriscorrectlyconnected inthe junctionbox.If
thereareanydiscrepancies. the machine mustnotbeoperatedunder any
circumstances.
The machine onlybe connected toan earthed socket!
●Whenthe machine isrunning,the balancewheelmustturntowardsthe operator.Ifitdoes
not, the motorconnection must bechanged byamechanic.
●Machineswithpneumaticequipment must be connectedtothe compressed airsupply.
The pressuregauge shouldindicateapressureof6bar. If necessary, adjust tothe
correct setting (see Chapter 11.07 Checking adjusting theairpressure).

Allinstructionsand regulationsinthisinstrution manualmust be

Special attention must be paidtoallsafetyregulations!
Allsetting-up work mustonlybe carriedoutbypersonnelwiththeappropriatetraining.
Forallsetting-up work the machine must be disconnected fromitspowersupplyby
turning off the on/off switch, or
removing the plug fromthe electricpowersocket.
