Lay your post across the back of the panel next to the holes. Mark the holes in the frame of the
solar panel on the post.
Drill two holes in your post that line up with the holes in the frame and that the botls will fit
through.

Place nuts under the solar panel frame in line with the hole in the frame.
Insert the bolts through the post and the frame. While holding the nuts in place tighten the bolts
down into the nuts until your post is held snug against the frame of the panel.

Affix the remaining part of the solar panel post to a fence line, gate post or some other type of
structure capable of supporting the panel.
The solar panel must be positioned in an area that
recei es full sun all day without any shadows.
The solar panel should be facing south for optimal
sun. (for northern hemisphere customers).
Use stranded low oltage wire (18 gauge or larger
- up to 200 feet) from the solar panel power con-
nections to the gate opener or battery connections
