Bar Refrigerator with Icemaker
After
installation
is completed
• Promptl inspect our new Monogram bar
refrigerator with icemaker. If it has been
damaged, contact the Installer or Dealer
immediatel .
• This bar refrigerator with icemaker must
be properl leveled to ensure correct door
alignment, door closure and ice production.
Contact the Installer if the unit is not level.
• The unit should be centered in
the opening. In a standard 24″opening,
the front face of the Stainless Steel door
will be flush with adjacent cabinetr . The
front face of the Custom Panel door should
be 13⁄4″forward of adjacent cabinetr .
Contact the installer if clearance is not
correct.
• Test the door swing. Carefull open and
close the door. The door should not rub
or catch on adjacent cabinetr . Notif
the installer if the door makes contact
with cabinetr .
Please Contact the Installer or Dealer if
you experience any of these problems.
Your custom panel (ZIBI240 model onl ) bar
refrigerator with icemaker is shipped with
two toekicks, a stainless steel and a black
toekick. For shipping purposes, one of the
toekicks will be secured to the back or on
the inside of the unit, and the second will
be installed on the unit. Keep the unused
toekick and other unused or removed
parts for possible future use.
Remove
packaging
Before using, be sure all packing materials
and tape have been removed.
To assure no damage is done to the finish
of the product, the safest wa to remove
the adhesive left from packaging tape on
new appliances is an application of
household liquid detergent. Appl with
a soft cloth and allow to soak. Wipe dr
and then appl an appliance polish to
thoroughl clean and protect the surface.

that ou can correct ourself.

R FRIG RANTS
All refrigeration products contain
refrigerants, which under federal law must
be removed prior to product disposal.
If ou are getting rid of an old refrigeration
product, check with the compan handling
the disposal about what to do.
wARNING—When using this
appliance, alwa s exercise basic safet
precautions, including the following:
•Use this appliance only for its intended
purpose as described in this Owner’s
Manual.
•This bar refrigerator with icemaker must
be properly installed in accordance with
the Installation Instructions before it is
used.
•Do not allow children to climb, stand
or hang on the shelves in the bar
refrigerator with icemaker. The
could damage the bar refrigerator with
icemaker and seriousl injure themselves.
•Do not store or use gasoline or other
flammable vapors and liquids in the
vicinity of this or any other appliance.
•Keep fingers out of the “pinch point”
areas: clearances between the door
and between the door and cabinet are
necessaril small. Be careful closing
the door when children are in the area.
•Unplug your bar refrigerator with
icemaker before cleaning or making
repairs. NOTE: We strongl recommend
that an servicing be performed b a
qualified individual.
•Before replacing a burned-out light bulb,
the bar refrigerator with icemaker should
be turned OFF or unplugged in order to
avoid contact with a live wire filament.
(A burned-out light bulb ma break
when being replaced.)
•In bar refrigerators with automatic
icemakers, avoid contact with the moving
parts of the ejector mechanism, or with
the heating element located on the
bottom of the icemaker.
Do not place fingers or hands on the
automatic icemaking mechanism while
the unit is plugged in.

Child entrapment and suffocation
are not problems of the past. Junked or
abandoned refrigeration products are
still dangerous…even if the will sit for
“just a few da s.” If ou are getting rid of
our old appliance, please follow these
instructions to help prevent accidents.

wAVERTISSEMENT—

HOW TO CONN CT L CTRICITY
Do not, under any circumstances, cut
or remove the third (ground) prong from
the power cord. For personal safety, this
appliance must be properly grounded.
The power cord of this appliance is equipped
with a 3-prong (grounding) plug which mates
with a standard 3-prong (grounding) wall outlet
to minimize the possibilit of electric shock
hazard from this appliance.
Have the wall outlet and circuit checked
b a qualified electrician to make sure
the outlet is properl grounded.
Where a standard 2-prong wall outlet is
encountered, it is our personal responsibilit
and obligation to have it replaced with
a properl grounded 3-prong wall outlet.
Use of a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) is not
recommended for the bar refrigerator with
icemaker.
The appliance should alwa s be plugged into
its own individual electrical outlet which has
a voltage rating that matches the rating
plate. This provides the best performance
and also prevents overloading house wiring
circuits which could cause a fire hazard from
overheated wires.

PLUG TO CONNECT THE BAR

ICEMAKER TO A 2-PRONG
OUTLET.
DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION
CORD ITH THIS APPLIANCE.
Never unplug an appliance b pulling on
the power cord. Alwa s grip the plug firml
and pull straight out from the outlet.
Repair or replace immediatel all power
cords that have become fra ed or otherwise
damaged. Do not use a cord that shows
cracks or abrasion damage along its length
or at either end.
When moving the appliance, be careful
not to roll over or damage the power cord.

à 2 alvéoles, il vous incombe de la faire
remplacer par une prise à 3 alvéoles

Controls and Features
Bar Refrigerator with Icemaker
Unit ON/OFF
This pad stops cooling in the bar refrigerator
with icemaker, turns off the temperature
controls and removes power to the light circuit.
NOTE: The icemaker is on a separate on/off
switch. To remove power from the icemaker
See Automatic Icemaker section.
Press this pad for a minimum of 3 seconds to
turn the bar refrigerator with icemaker on or
off, or unplug the unit for long vacations or
absences, or when cleaning the unit or
changing the light bulb.
Temperature
control
The temperature displa shows the actual
temperature of the bar refrigerator with
icemaker. The actual temperature ma var
slightl from the set temperature based on
factors such as door openings, amount of
food and room temperature.
To change the temperature setting,
press the WARMER or COLDER pads until
ou reach the desired set temperature.
After 5 seconds, the displa will return
to the actual temperature.
After making adjustments, allow 12 to 24
hours for the bar refrigerator with icemaker
to reach the temperature ou have set and
before making an further adjustments.
Temperature Settings
Minimum: 34°F (1.1°C)
Maximum: 45°F (7.2°C)

Glass
shelves
Tempered glass shelves in the bar
refrigerator with icemaker are removable for
eas cleaning or for storing larger items.
To remove a shelf, open the door
completel to avoid potential damage to
the gasket. Lift up on the back of the shelf
slightl . Tilt the shelf to one side at an angle
while pulling forward.
To replace a shelf, open the door completel
to avoid potential damage to the gasket. Tilt
the shelf to one side at an angle and slide
toward the back wall, placing one side onto
the shelf support. Place the other side onto
the opposite shelf support. Ensure rear
locking tabs are engaged. When installed
properl , the shelf will not slide forward
when gentl pulled.

NOTE: The icemaker temperature is not displa ed.
Child control
lockout
This child control lockout feature prevents
unwanted changes to our temperature
settings.
After the desired temperature is set,
the temperature can be locked. To lock,
press both the +and –pads at the same
time for five seconds. To unlock, press both
+and –pads for five seconds.

Automatic
icemaker
The icemaker will produce seven cubes
per c cle—approximatel 100–130 cubes
in a 24-hour period, depending on freezer
compartment temperature, room
temperature, number of door
openings and other use conditions.
If the bar refrigerator with icemaker is
operated before the water connection is
made to the water valve, set the icemaker
power switch to O (off).
When the unit has been connected to
the water suppl , set the icemaker power
switch to I (on). The green light will come on.
The icemaker will fill with water when it
cools to 15°F (–10°C). A newl installed
bar refrigerator with icemaker ma take
12 to 24 hours to begin making ice cubes.
You will hear a buzzing sound each time
the icemaker fills with water.
Throw awa the first few batches of ice
to allow the water line to clear.
Be sure nothing interferes with the sweep
of the feeler arm.
When the bin fills to the level of the feeler
arm, the icemaker will stop producing ice.
It is normal for several cubes to be joined
together.
If ice is not used frequentl , old ice cubes
will become cloud , taste stale and shrink.
If ice cubes get stuck in the icemaker,
the green power light will blink. To correct
this, set the icemaker power switch
to O (off) and remove the cubes.
Set the icemaker power switch
to I (on) to restart the icemaker.
After the icemaker has been turned
on again, there will be a dela of about
45 minutes before the icemaker resumes
operations.
NOTE: In homes with lower-than-average
water pressure, you may hear the
icemaker cycle multiple times when
making one batch of ice.

To remove, pull the icemaker drawer full
open and remove the transportable ice
storage bin b lifting up and out.
NOTE: Ice can fall behind the ice storage bin.
Prior to replacing the bin, check for an fallen
ice.
If the ice storage bin is removed from
the refrigerator for an extended period of
time, we recommend setting the icemaker
power switch to O (off).
To replace, grasp the side of the right side
of the bin with the higher edge so that the
angled side is against the drawer front.
Lower the bin into place and close the
drawer.
CAUTION: Failure to install properl could
cause potential damage to the icemaker.
The ice storage bin is dishwasher safe,
top rack onl .
The interior fan is located in the rear
wall of the bar refrigerator with icemaker
and is designed to run continuousl to help
maintain the proper cooling temperature.
In most instances, the interior fan will run
when the door is open. However, it will not
operate when the door is opened during a
defrost c cle.

Loading
tips and
suggestions
The bottom full extension drawer holds
five bottles and is loaded with necks facing
the rear. Tall bottles should not be loaded
on the bottom drawer because the ma
prevent the door from closing.
•Do not block the thermistor, located
on the right hand side, just above the top
shelf of the bar refrigerator with icemaker.
Blocking the thermistor could impair the
air circulation and temperature control.

To remove:
1. Pull the full extension drawer out to
the STOP position.
2. Push the tab on right drawer guide down
while pulling the tab on left guide up, and
pull the drawer out.
To replace:
1. Push the drawer slide arm back into
the unit.
2. Pull the small slide sub-assembl
completel forward.
3. Insert the sides of the drawer back
into the guides.
4. Push until the tabs lock into place.
Tab (push tab down on right
drawer guide, pull tab up on
left drawer guide)
NOTE: Make sure the tabs on the full
extension drawer guides are full engaged
before loading an bottles. Pull the drawers
out all the wa to the STOP position and
push back in several times to make sure
locking tabs are properl engaged.

Ice scoop
The bar refrigerator with icemaker includes
an ice scoop in the ice storage bin. To
maximize ice bin capacit , store the ice
scoop as shown. Do NOT wash the ice scoop
in the dishwasher. For cleaning, handwash
in mild soap water or use the baking soda
solution noted in Cleaning the inside section.
