Turn the numbered temperature control to OFF, re-
move food and clean the interior with baking soda
solution, using one tablespoon of baking soda per
quart of water. Wipe dry.Toprevent formationofodor,
place an open box of bakingsoda in the refrigerator,
leave the doors open and remove the plug from the

located near the front of the icemaker.

WhenFreshFoodcompartmenttemperatureissatisfactory,
make the ice cream test. If ice cream remainsfirm to the
touch after being in Freezercompartment for aday,Tem-
perature Controls are at proper setting. If the ice cream’s
firmness isnot to your liking, adjust controls accordingly.
Checkadayafter resetting either control to makesurethe

When refrigerator has been con-
nectedto watersupply,turn manual
switchto ON position.
Ice cube moldswill automaticallyfill
with water after cooling to freezing
temperature,andfirst cubesnormally
freeze after several hours. When
cubes are soiidly frozen,they will be
ejected fromthemoidintotheicestor-
age bin by meansof asweeperarm.
Icemaking will continue until the
feeler arm is raisedbyasufficient ac-
cumulation of ice in the storage bin
to halt the operation temporarily. For
maximumicestorage,levelthe stored
cubeswith your handoccasionally.Be
sure nothing interfereswiththe swing
of the feeler arm.
Once your icemaker is in operation,
