T e Dispenser Drawer
Slowly open the ispenser rawer by pulling
it out until it stops.
After adding laundry products, slowly close
the dispenser drawer. Closing the drawer too
quic ly could result in early dispensing of the
bleach, fabric softener or detergent.
You may see water in the bleach and fabric
softener compartments at the end of the cycle.
This is a result of the flushing/siphoning action
and is part of the normal operation of the
washer.
T e Liquid Bleac Compartment
IMPORTANT: T e bleac compartment
position varies by model. Be sure to identify
t e correct compartment for bleac before
using.
If esire , measure out the recommen e
amount of liqui bleach, not to excee
1/3 cup (80 ml) an pour into the center
compartment labele “LIQUID BLEACH”
marke with this symbol .
Do not exceed the maximum fill line. Overfilling
can cause early dispensing of the bleach which
could result in damaged clothes.
NOTE: Do not use powdered bleach in the
dispenser.
T e Detergent Compartment
■High efficiency detergent is required
for this washer. Use the detergent
manufacturer’s recommended amount.
The etergent selection insert must be place
in the etergent compartment in a specific
position accor ing to what type of etergent
you are using.
■Powder Detergent – Place the insert
in the rear position. The Pow er Icons
must line up on center when the insert
is in the pow er position.
■Liquid Detergent – Place the insert in
the forwar position. The Liqui Icons
must line up on center when the insert
is in the liqui position.
Move the insert by pulling it up an replace
it by sli ing it own between either the rear
or front etergent compartment mol e rails,
as esire , for pow er or liqui etergent.

■Detergent is flushe from the ispenser
at the beginning of the wash cycle. Either
pow ere or liqui etergent can be use .
■Detergent usage may nee to be a juste
for water temperature, water har ness,

too much etergent in your washer as it
can lea to oversu sing an etergent
resi ue being left on the clothes.
■Using more etergent than the
recommen e quantity can cause
resi ue buil up on your washer.

T e Prewas Compartment (on some models)
■Only use the Prewash Compartment if you
are selecting the Prewash cycle for heavily
soile clothes. A measure etergent or
prewash a itive to the back left prewash
compartment of the ispenser rawer.
■Detergent or prewash a itive is flushe
from the ispenser in the prewash cycle
(if selecte ).
