User Manual
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the safety light flickers, works intermittently, changes modes automatically,
appears dim or faded, or does not turn on, check and verify that:
• The back plate is securely attached and the screws are on tightly.
• The batteries are inserted correctly according to the instructions.
Firmly press the power button on and o several times:
• If the safety light still does not turn on, replace the batteries.
• If the problem persists, contact GearLight for a replacement.

WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
MAINTENANCE
Inspect the safety light monthly and carefully remove any damaged battery and clean
any corrosion. If the safety light is used less than once a month, remove the batteries
between uses.
Limited One-Year Warranty
GearLight warrants this product for one year from the date of purchase
against any defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not cover
normal wear and tear, nor damage resulting from misuse or neglect. We will,
at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of this product
should we determine it to be defective.
Limitation Of Liability
Liability limited to the purchase price of this product. GearLight shall not be
liable for any incidental or consequential damages or any implied warranty on
this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion
may not apply to you.

WARNING: KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Swallowing may lead
to serious injury or death in as little as 2 hours due to chemical burns and potential
perforation of the esophagus. Immediately see doctor if swallowed. Dispose of
used batteries immediately. Risk of injury due to fire, explosion or leakage. Do not
disassemble, charge, crush or expose to fire or high temperatures.
To turn the safety light on, press down on the gray power button located on the
front of the light.
To turn the safety light o, press down on the gray power button to cycle
through all the lighting modes until the light is o.
Changing the Batteries
1. Use the provided mini Philips screwdriver to carefully remove the 4 screws
located on the back of the safety light.
2. Gently lift the back plate up and away from the body.
3. Replace with a new set of CR2032 batteries. The top battery has its positive
pole facing down. The bottom battery has its positive pole facing up.
4. Put the cover and screws back the same way they were taken o.

CR2032 Batteries

NOTE: Each LED Safety Light comes preinstalled with 2x CR2032 batteries.
There are 3 dierent lighting modes. (Steady, Flash, Strobe)
To switch through the dierent lighting modes, press down on the gray power
button to alternate through the 3 modes.

STRAPS
Gently lift the clip on the back of the safety light.
Slip the strap in between the clip and the safety
light. Make sure that the strap is slipped all the
way up to ensure it does not slide o.
Cut the straps to desired length, then securely attach
the two ends together.
TIP: Use the straps to attach the safety light to your
dog’s collar. This will ensure that the safety light is securely
fastened.
