4. eMic-XMcontrolsandusagetips
eMic-XMhas2eMicbuttons, onwhichvariouseMic software functionscanbeassigned,outputmutebutton, outputvolume
andmicrophonesensitivitycontrollingwheels.Headsets, speakers,microphones,monoearphonescanbe connectedtothe
eMic-XMjacks.Ifconnectedtodesktopmicrophone, eMic-XM, whenitisplacedonastand,canbe usedasdesktopeMic
controlbox.Ifconnectedtothe headset,eMic-XMcanbeusedasahand-heldeMic controlbox. Placementofcontrolsand
jacksisshownonfig.1.Forbestadjustmentofthemicrophone soundleveluse the“Sensitivity”controlon theeMic-XM.For
adjustmentofthe volumeoutputcontrolusethe “Volume” controlontheeMic-XMina couplewithsystemvolume contol. On
andoff mutingofoutputsoundbypressing“Outputmute” buttononthe eMic-XM.

5. EHSMonitorsoftware
5.1Softwareoverview
5.1.1EHSMonitor
WithEHSMonitoritispossibleusingonlyonebuttontorecordfile,save it,converttoMP3andeventogenerateane-mail
messagewiththerecordedfileattachedoruploadrecordtowebserver.
5.1.2LAMEMP3encoder
MP3isaformatforcompressedaudiostorage.MP3usespsychoacousticfilterstoremovesoundsthatareinaudibletothe
humanear, aswellasothermethodstocompresstheaudioinformation. Thusthere couldbe discernabledifferencebetweenthe
originalandencodedaudiodata(agreatdependsontheencoding parameters).ModernMP3encodersareveryflexibleand
allowyoutosetalotofparameters,affectingtheencodingspeedandtheoutputfilequality.EHSMonitorusesLAMEas
defaultencodingengine.LAMEisquitefast(encodesfasterthanrealtimeonaPII-266athighestqualitymode)andprovidesa
verygoodsoundquality.Formoreinformation,pleasevisit LAMEofficialsiteat http://www.mp3dev.org.Ifforoneor
anotherreasonyoudonotlikeLAME,youcanuseanyotherMP3encoderthatsupportscommandlineinterface.See
“Advancedsettings” sectionfordetails.
5.2E-mail microphonerecording
5.2.1Recording
eMicallowsyoutorecordandE-mailsoundfilesbypressingonlyonebutton.The rest(MP3encoding,generatingoftheeMic-
message,uploadingittothe eMic4all serveretc.)willbedoneforyouautomatically.
Recordingisalwaysfirstmadetoatemporaryfile. Thus,eveniftherecordingisfinishedabnormally(powerfailure,etc.)the
recordeddatawouldnotbe lost(howeversuchfilewouldnotberecoveredautomatically).
Itispossibletoassignoneoffivepre-definedfunctionstoanyofthemicrophonebuttons(since itisassigned,itbecomesa
functionofeMic).Thatmeansthatit isevenpossibletoassignthesame functiontothebotheMicbuttons.

Therearetwowaystouse the eMicbuttons:
Holddown. Recordingstartsrightafterthebuttonispresseddownandlastswhilethebuttonisheldpressed.Whenthebutton
isreleased,recording stops.
Click. Recordingstartsafterthebuttonispressedandconsequentlyreleased.Recordingstopswhenthebuttonispressedfor
thesecondtime.Recording canbepausedandresumedasmanytimesasneededbypressingandreleasingthebuttondifferent
fromtheonethathasstartedtherecording.
Thefivepre-definedfunctionsare:
Rec. IfMP3recordingoptionissetthe recordedfile isencodedtomp3fileformat.
Rec andAttach. Aftertherecordedfileissaved(andencodedifnecessary), ane-mail messageisgeneratedwiththerecorded
fileattached.Itjustremainstospecifytherecipientandsendthemessage.
Rec andsavetospecifiedfileor MEMOfunction. Whenthe recordingisfinished, EHSMonitorpromptsyou forthe recorded
filename.Ifspecified, the recordedfile isencodedtomp3fileformat.
RecanduploadtoeMic4allserver. Encodingtomp3anduploadingtotheserverisbeingprocessedduring therecording.
Aftertherecording isfinishedthelinktotheeMic-messageontheserverisgeneratedandimmediatelypastedintothe window
thathadinputfocusatthebeginningoftherecording.
Note: Recanduploadfunctionisavailable forthe WavandnormalqualityMp3 recordingsonly.
Note: Normallybydefaultadefinedbyyoutext(prefix)precedesthelink totheeMic-message. If theprefixtextisnot
required(whiche.g.canbe usefulifyouintendtoinsertthelinkintoExcelfileordatabase)pushthe Shift keyjustpriortothe
momentwhenyoustarttherecording.
Rec Skype/MSN. RecordsSkype,MSN,WindowsLiveMessengerorotherVoIPsoftwarevoiceconversations.Duringthe
eMicinstallation SkypeandMSNwillbeautomaticallyconfiguredforthisfunction towork.Ifyou installSkype/MSNafterthe
eMicorifyouuseadifferentVoIPsoftware forthe voice communication,makesurethatthevirtualdevicenamed eMicAudio
Filter1 (WindowsXP)or Line1(eMic AudioFilter) (WindowsVista)isselectedastheinputmicrophoneandthevirtual
device named eMicAudioFilter2 (WindowsXP)or Line2(eMic AudioFilter) (WindowsVista)isselectedastheoutput
sounddevice inthesettingsoftheSkype/MSN/VoIPsoftware.
Note: RecSkype/MSN functionisavailable forWindowsXPandWindowsVista only.
Undefined(Unused). ThebuttonisnotusedbytheEHSMonitorsoftware.Check,ifothersoftwareusesthisbutton.
Usefilter. Withthisoption set, beforethe eMic-function isexecutedtheselectedsoundfilterwillbeappliedtotherecording.
Use Soundeditor toeditandcreateyourownsoundfilters.
Note: Usefilter option appliestothe currentlyselectedpre-definedfunction.
Use soundeditor. Withthisoptionset,before theeMic-functionisexecutedthe Soundeditor willbelaunched. Withthehelp
ofthe Sound editor youwillbe abletolistentoyourrecordingandeditoramendit ifnecessary.
Note: Usesound editor optionappliestothe currentlyselectedpre-definedfunction.
MMAB. Withthisoptionset,everytimecreatingane-mail with Recand attach eMic-functionyouwillbeofferedtochoose
therecipientfrommultimediaaddressbook.
Note:MMAB optionappliestothe currentlyselectedpre-definedfunction.
NoteforWindowsversion: Allsettingschangescomeintoforceonlyafterthe “Apply”buttonatthe bottomofthe dialogbox
windowispressed.
5.2.2Managingrecordings
Aftertherecordinghasbeenfinished,therecordedfilenameissavedinthelistofallrecordedfiles.EHSMonitorallowsto
changethefilenameorlocation(thefile willberenamedandmovedifnecessary),todeleteone ormorefilesortogeneratean
e-mailmessage withone ormorepreviouslyrecordedfilesattached. See “Recordingmanager” section fordetails).

5.3Generalsettings
5.3.1One-touchrecording options
Saverecordedfiles Specifiesthefolderwherethe recordedfileswill besavedto. Youcanselectanyexistingfolder.
Wav/Mp3/HQWav/HQMp3 radiobutton. Youcanalsoselectoneofthefourformatstosavethe recordeddata.
“HQWav”and“HQMp3” formatshashighersoundqualitythen“Wav”and“Mp3”, butless compactfilesizes(bya factorof
2and1,5respectively).Formatsaredescribedinthe tablebelow.

5.3.2Button A/ButtonBfunction
eMichasfivedifferentfunctions.Anyfunctioncouldbe assignedtoanyofthe eMicbuttons;it isevenpossibletoassignthe
samefunction tobothbuttons.See “E-mailmicrophonerecording” sectionfordetails.
5.3.3LaunchatWindowsstartup (Launchatuserlogin)
If thisoptionissettheEHSMonitorwillstartautomaticallywheneverthe Windowsisstarted(onuserlogonforMacintosh
users).
Note: Anychangesmade, willtakeeffectonlyafterthecurrentrecordingisfinished(ifany).
5.4Advanced settings
5.4.1ExternalMP3encoder
Bydefault EHSMonitorusesLAMEencodertoencodetoMP3andthedefault formatisCBR16Kbps,11025Hz,1channel
(mono).IfyouwouldliketochangefromLAMEorifyouwanttospecifythecustomencodingparameters,youcanchoose
anyotherencoder(hereandlater-externalencoder)you like.Thereisonlyonerequirement:theexternalencodershould
supportcommandlineinterface, i.e.itshouldbepossibletouseitfromthecommandprompt.
UseExternalMP3encoder Bycheckingthischeckbox;you canmakeEHSMonitoruseanyexternalcommand-lineMP3
encoderinsteadofthe defaultencoder.
Pathtoexecutable Specifythe full pathtotheexternalencoderexecutablefile. Youcanenterthepathmanuallyinthe edit box
orbrowseforthefile.If theinvalidpathisspecifiedinthisfield,EHSMonitorwillattempttouseitsownencoder.Ifforsome
reasonsthe built-inencodercannotbeusedaswell,thenthefilewillbesavedtothesamefolderandwiththesamenamebutin
the“wave”format(and with.wavextension). So,whateverhappens,yourrecordingwill notbelost.
Additionalparameters Specifyanyadditionalparameters,supportedbytheexternalencoder.Theseparametersarepassed
directlytotheencoderexe-filewithoutanycheckiftheexternalencoderreallysupportsthespecifiedparameters.
Generally, theexternalencodercallstringshouldsatisfythefollowing template:

5.4.2Filenameformatforone-touchrecording
Namesforthefilesrecordedwithone-touchrecordingaregeneratedautomaticallybasedonthe user-definedtemplate.The
generatedfilenamelookslike this:

Enumerated –numbersaregeneratedconsecutively, i.e. thegeneratednumberistheleastnotused
number(thereisno filewiththesamefilename),starting fromzero.
ExtensionFileextension. "Wav"or"mp3"dependingontheselectedfileformat.
5.4.3Advancedrecordingoptions
EHSMonitorsetstheminimumrecordingtime.Thismeans, thatanyrecording,thatlastslessthanminimumrecordingtime is
discarded.ThiscanbeusefultoeliminaterecordingscausedbyaccidentaleMicbuttonpressing.Bydefaulttheminimum
recording timeis1second.The minimumrecording timecanbeanynumberintherangefrom1to262144(3days49minutes
4seconds).Themaximumrecording timeislimitedonlybytheavailable harddiskspace.
5.4.4Address bookoptions
Usemultimediaaddressbook. Whenthisoptionischeckedeverytimecreatingane-mail withEHSMonitorusing Attach
selectedfiles buttonyouwillbeofferedtochoosetherecipientfrommultimediaaddressbook.Use Edit... torunMultimedia
addressbookeditortoformlistofcontacts.
Note: Anychangesmadetothissettingwill takeeffectonlyafterthecurrentrecording isfinished(ifany).
5.5eMic4Allaccountsettings
5.5.1Accountoptions
Tobeabletousethe Recandupload eMicfunctionyou havetobeloggedintoanexistingaccountononeoftheeMic4all
servers.
Uploadrecordstoserver. SelectorentertheURLofthe serverwhereyoualreadyhaveanaccounttologintooroftheserver
whereyouwishtocreateanewaccount.Aftertheloginallthemessagesgeneratedbythe Recand Upload functionwill be
automaticallystoredon thespecifiedhere server.
Login. Enteryourloginofanexistingaccounthere.
Password. Enteryourpasswordofanexistingaccounthere.
Press Login buttontologintoexistingaccountor Register buttontocreateanewaccountonthespecifiedserver.Whenyou

areloggedin, the Profile button isenabled. Useittoviewandchangeyouraccountsettings.
5.5.2Registration
Pleasefillintheregistrationformtoregisterthenewaccount.Theserialnumbercanbefoundinsidethepackageoratthe
bottomoftheproduct.
Thetrialregistrationallowscreatingthetrial(validfor30days)accountwithoutserialnumberiftheserialnumberismissing
orinvalid.
Note: OnlydevicessuppliedwithEHSMonitorsoftware version2.0orlatercanbeacceptedforregistration.
Note: Trialaccountrequiresactivation,activationinstructionswillbesenttoyou bye-mail.
5.5.3Subscription upgrade
Therearetwowaystoupgradeyouraccount.Thefirstistodoit ontheeMic4allserverinyouraccountprofile.Thesecondis
togetanewsubscriptionwiththeneweMic.NotethattheusersofeMic-S,EPH-USBorEHS-OFFICEgetthe Basic
subscriptionfreeofcharge.Ifyou decidetopurchaseeMic-PROorEHS-USBlateron,youwillbeentitledtogetthe
Advanced subscriptionfreeofcharge.Toupgradetheexistingaccountwiththe Basic subscriptiontothe Advanced
subscription, pleaseclickthe Upgrade buttonand enterthe newproductserialnumberwhenrequiredtodoso.
5.5.4Uploadoptions
Link prefix. The textenteredhere will precedealinktotheeMic-messageandpastedtothecurrentlyopendocument.
Insertnewline. Selectthisoption toinsertanewlineautomaticallyafterthelinktotheeMic-messageispastedinthe
currentlyopendocument.
Preview. Withthisoptionchosenwheneveryoucreateamessageby Recandupload functionthe eMic-messageproperties
windowwillappear.ItwillallowyoutochangetheappearanceoftheeMic-messageontheserver,listentotherecordingand
editit.
Note: if Preview optionisselectedthelinktotheeMic-message(witheventualprefixandnewline)willnotbepasted
automaticallyintothedocumentintheactivewindow.Ifyou wishtopastethelink,press Copylink buttoninthe Upload
properties window.
Note: evenif Preview optionisnotselectedanicon willappearinthesystemtrayforoneminuteaftertherecording is
finished. Double-clickon thisicontolaunchthe Uploadproperties window.
Note:ifbythetimeyoufinishtherecordingthedocumentinthe active windowdoesnotacceptenteringofthetext,thelinkto
theeMic-messagewill notbeinsertedthere. Howeverthe wholelinkwillbestoredintheClipboard.UsePastefunction(Ctrl-
V) toplacethe linkwhereveryouwishto.
5.6Managingrecordings
5.6.1Recordingmanager
EHSMonitormaintainsthelistofallrecordedfilesandlinkstotheirremotecopiesstoredontheeMic4allserver.Ifthe eMic-
messagehasatitleitisalsodisplayednexttothefile name. Anytimeyoumakeanewrecordingtherecordedfileisaddedto
thelist.Uploadedrecordsaremarkedwithaspecialicon .Usingtherecording manageryoucanmanageyourrecordings:
renamethem, generate e-mail messageswithoneormorerecordingsattachedtothem,uploadrecordstoserver,deleterecorded
filesortheirremotecopiesonserver,youcanalsoedit yourrecordsusingthe Soundeditor includingupdatingstoredonthe
servereMic-messagesandtheirappearance.
Togenerateane-mailmessagewithsomerecordingsattachedortodeletesomerecordings,selecttheminthelistandclick
Attachselectedfiles or Deleteselectedfiles buttonrespectively.
Toeditarecord, nomatteruploadedornot,click Edit button.IfforthecurrentlyselectedrecordthereexistsaneMic-message
uploadedtothe server, eMic-messageproperties windowwillappear.
Click Copylink buttontocopya linktotheuploadedeMic-message tothe clipboard.

Youcanclick Upload buttononthe locallymaderecordtocreate aneMic-messageonthe eMic4allserver.

The doubleclickonthefile inthelistwillcausethisfile tobeplayedoropenedbythe defaultapplicationthatisassignedto
handle thisfileextension. Infactthedoubleclickon the filewill have the same effectasexecutingthisfilefromthe Windows
Explorer.
Note: itisalsopossibletoplayrecordsfromsynchronizationwindow.
5.6.2Synchronization
Tosynchronizealllocallystoredfilesandthe eMic-messagesontheserverpress Sync button. Thisbuttonwillupdateall the
titlesoftheeMic-messages. Inadditiontoit asynchronizationwindowwill appearwhen:
a)one ormorerecordswhicharesupposedtobeontheeMic4allserverbutcannotbefoundthere (soprobablyneedtobe
uploadedagain)
b)one ormorerecordswhichdoexiston theeMic4allserverbutthelocalcopyismissing(soprobablyneedtobe downloaded
again)
c)one ormorerecordswhichcannotbefoundneitheron theeMic4allserver,norlocally(suchrecordshavetoberemoved).
The synchronizationwindowisintendedtohelpyou keepyourrecordingssynchronizedwiththeeMic-messagesonthe server.
Thethreefirstcolumnsinthetableindicatewhichactionshouldbetakenwiththe“troublesome”record.Atthesametimethe
iconsinthefirsttwocolumnsshowthestatusofthe localrecordandoftheeMic-message.
Thegreentick inthefirstcolumnmeansthatthelocallystoredrecordhasbeenfound.Theemptyspaceinthefirstcolumn
meansthatthelocallystoredrecordontheserverismissing.
Thegreentick inthe secondcolumnmeansthattheeMic-messagerecordontheserverhasbeenfound. Theemptyspace in
thesecondcolumnmeansthattheeMic-messagerecordonthe serverismissing.
Youcanspecifytheactiontobetakenwitheachrecord. Thepossible actionsare:
1. Uploadlocalrecordtotheserver–representedbythesymbol
2. Downloadtherecordfromtheserver–representedbythe symbol
3. Deletetherecord–representedbythesymbol
Whenthewindowisopenedforthefirsttimethesystembydefault selectsthemostlogicallycorrectactionforeachrecord.
Thisdefault action canbechangedbyclickingonthecell.
All theactionswill be performedimmediatelyafteryou presstheOKbutton.

•ProvideseasyaccesstoMultimediaaddress bookcontacts.
•Allowspostponede-mail sendingusing the defaultmail clientinterface.
•Supportsimmediate e-mailsendingthroughthe specifiedSMTPserver(nomail clientrequired).
6.2MultimediaAddress BookContactsfilecreation
BeforeusingMultimediaAddressBookcreate a listofcontactsusingMultimediaAddressBookEditor. RefertoMultimedia
AddressBook EditorHelpfilefordetails.
6.3NavigatingthroughContactsandSelectingRecipient
MultimediaAddress Bookallowsselectingonerecipientofthecontactslisttodeliveryoure-mail to.Itisalsopossibleto
createane-mailwithnorecipient(onlywithmailclientinterface)bypressingNorecipientbutton. Inthiscasethe recipienthas
tobespecifiedinthemailclientinterfacebytypingitorselectingfromthedefaultmailclientaddressbook.
EntriesoftheContactslistareinitiallyshowninthealphabeticalorder,withtheonlyexceptionofDefault recipientwhichis
alwaysshownfirst.TonavigatethroughtheMultimediaAddressBookContactsyoucanusemousewheel,Multimedia
AddressBookuserinterfacebuttonsoreMic“Letter”button.Typefirstcharactersoftherecipientnameore-mailaddressin
theRecipientfilterboxtofilterthedisplayedContacts.Toselecttherecipientdoubleclickthemouseleftbuttononit'spicture
orpressenterkeywhenthepictureoftherecipientishighlightedwiththegreenframe. YoucanalsopresseMic“Record”
buttontoselectthecurrentlychosenrecipient.

6.4Settings
Sendtodefaultrecipient. Ifthisoption isonthenthee-mailcreatedusing EHSMonitor will besenttotheDefaultrecipient
automaticallyandimmediately.InthiscaseMultimediaAddressBookwindowwillnotbeshown.
Note: Referto MultimediaAddressBookEditor Helpfiletolearnhowtospecifythe Defaultrecipient.
SendthroughSMTPserverimmediately. Usethisoptiontosende-mailswithMultimediaAddressBookdirectlythrough
SMTPserverusingyoure-mailaccount.Nomailclientisrequiredinthiscase.EnterSMTPserveraddressin Outgoingmail
(SMTP)server field,enteryournameande-mailaddress,check SMTPserverrequiresauthentication andspecify Server
logonoptions ifnecessary.ThemessagewillbethensentdirectlythroughtheSMTPserver.
Note: theSubjectfieldofthee-mailinthiscasewillbefilledwith Subjectprefix followedbytimestamp,usingthetemplate
[DD.MM. YYYYhh:mm:ss],whereletters"YYYY","MM","DD","hh","mm","ss"representcurrentyear,month, day,hour,
minute andsecond respectively. ThesenderofsuchE-mailcanbespecifiedinthe E-mail accountoptions.
Use Outgoingmail(SMTP)serverportnumberfieldtochangetheserverportnumber.
6.5Troubleshooting
Possible reasonsofbeing unabletosendane-mail.
If youaretrying tosendane-mailusingyourdefaultmailclient(Send throughSMTPserverimmediatelyoptionisswitched

·Checkifoneofthe supportedmailclients(MSOutlook,OutlookExpress, Lotus,Mozilla Mail,Netscape)isinstalled
onyourcomputerandusedasadefaultmailclient.

·CheckyourInternetconnection.
·CheckthefollowingMultimediaAddressBooksettings:
oCheckifyourSMTPserverisspecifiedcorrectly.

7. MultimediaAddress Book Editorutility
7.1Overview
Multimediaaddressbookeditor isautilitytoolintendedtofilland updatethemultimediaaddressbook,whichcanbeused
withthe EHSMonitor software. When Usemultimediaaddressbook optionisswitchedon,wheneveryou createane-mail
using EHSMonitor the MultimediaAddress Book-Contacts dialogappearsandhelpstochoosethemessagerecipient
withouttyping. TomakenavigationthroughthelistofContactseasiereachcontactiscoupledwithanimage and/orsound.
7.2EditingContactslist
Use Newcontact buttontocreate a newcontact.Selectanyexistingcontactfromthelisttoedititsattributes.Inadditiontothe
standard Name, E-mail and Phone attributesMABEditorallowstoassignanimageand/orasoundtoanycontact.Youcan
selectoneoftheimagesfromthesuppliedimagecollectionoruseyourownpicture(BMP,JPG,GIF graphicsformatsare
supported).Browseforanappropriate Wav or Mp3 fileonyourcomputertoassignittothecontact.Use Save buttontosave
changes.
Press Default buttontomakefromthecurrentlyselectedcontactthe Defaultrecipient. Defaultrecipient isshownasfirstin
the MultimediaAddressBook-Contacts dialogforquickeraccess.Refertothe MultimediaAddress Book helpfilefor
detailsofusing Defaultrecipient.Use Preview buttontoopenthe MultimediaAddressBook-Contacts dialogwiththe
updatedContactslist.

Toeditanexisting audiofileplease,followthe stepsbelow:
·Use Open… command fromthe File menutoopenanexistingfile. SoundeditorsupportsaudiofilesinWavandMP3
audioformats.
·Use Play and Stop buttonsorjustclickoverthebluebartonavigatethroughthe soundfile. Theyellowmarkershows
thecurrentpositioninfile.
·Use Mark buttontosetoneoftworedmarkersinthespecifiedlocation.
Note:Youcanchange theredandyellowmarkerspositionbydragging themwithyourmousealongthetimescale. Drag
themarkersomewhereoutside the timescale toremoveit.
Note:Theplaybackalwaysstartsfromtheyellowmarkerandstopsbytheredmarker.Toresumetheplayback,clickthe
Playbuttonagain.Thisisspeciallymadesotoletyou settheprecisemarkbetweenthesoundfragmentyou’dliketokeep
andthe oneyouwishtodeleteoroverwrite.
·If youwouldliketodeleteapiece ofthe recording,firstplaceoneoftheredmarkersatthestartofthefragmentyou’d
liketoremoveandthenplace theotherredmarkerattheend.Pressthe Delete… buttontoremovethemarked
fragmentfromtherecording.
·Toinsertanadditionalvoicerecordingintothefileatthespecifiedposition(wherethesingleredmarkeris)useeMic
"Letter"(Holddown)and“Record”(Click)buttonsintheusualfashion.
Note:insertionisnotallowedifbothofthe tworedmarkersareinplace.
·Therearethree waystoinsertthenewrecording intothe existingfile:
oInsertatmarker -insertsatcurrent(redmarker) position,the wholefilegetsbigger.
oOverwrite -overwritesthe file startingfromtheredmarker.
oContinuefrommarker -replacestherestofthefilefromthecurrent(redmarker)positionwiththenew
recording.
Please, choosetheappropriate settingfromthe Whenrecording combo box.
·If youwishtosavetheamendedaudiofileplease,use Save and SaveAs… commandsfromthe File menu.Using
SaveAs… youcanalsoconvertaudiofilesfromWavtoMP3formatsorvice versa ifrequired.

Soundeditoralsoallowstoapplydifferentsoundfilterstotherecording.Youcancreatethesefiltersbyyourself.TheFilters
windowcanbeaccessedbychoosing Filters menuitemofthe Options menu. Toadda newfilteruse Add buttonintheFilters
window.Therearethree typesofpossiblefilters:Tempo,PitchorRate. Eachfiltercanbeadjustedupordownbyspecifyinga

modifyingfactorvalue. Eachfiltercanalsobeassignedapicturetomake identificationeasier.
Toeditthe existingfilterselectitinthe listontherightofFilterswindowandpress Edit… button.
Byclicking Remove buttonyou candelete thefiltercurrentlyselectedinthe listoffilters.
Press Test buttontolistentotheresult ofapplyingtheselectedfiltertotherecording.Use Apply buttontoconfirmapplyingof
thefilter.Press Cancel buttontoleavetherecording withoutchangesandcloseFilterswindow.
ThesamelistoffiltersisalsoavailablefromthelistboxinthemainSoundeditorwindow.Selectoneoftheexistingfilters
fromthelistboxandpress Test buttontolistentotheresultofthechosenfiltertotherecording.Use Apply buttontoconfirm
