
III. Operation Instruction
1 Working wit AC/DC adapter
Please plug t e attac ed power supply adapter into main supply, and t en connect t e DC
output plug into t e DC socket on back of t e mac ine, T e mac ine will automatically start
and perform a self-testing routine, t en ‘0’ display on bot Number of Sheets Display and
otal Value Display, now t e mac ine is ready to work.
2 Working wit built-in battery
W en working wit built-in battery, t e user needs to press t e Power On/Off Key and old
it for about 2 seconds to power on t e mac ine.
3 Detecting
W en t e mac ine detects an insertion of banknote in Entrance, It will automatically start
t e motor and begin a detecting procedure.

If t e banknote is a genuine one, t e number of s eets will be increased and t e
corresponding total value added. W en t e number of s eets is above 999 or t e total value
is above 9999, t e data will be automatically reset to zero.
If t e banknote is a suspicious one, it will be rejected (wit draw from t e Entrance) and 3
beeps given, correspond alarm code will be displayed on Number of Sheets Display for a
brief time.
4. Sleeping (Power Saving) Mode
W en t e mac ine is supplied only by built-in battery, in t is case, t e mac ine may enter
sleeping mode after 5 minutes of idle in order to save power.
W en t e mac ine is in sleeping mode, t e currency indicator (for example EURO Indicator)
and t e currency Exit Direction Indicator will flicker at an interval to remind t e user t at
t e mac ine is now in sleeping mode.
T e sleeping mode can be waken up and return to working mode by inserting a banknote in
t e Entrance or by pressing t e Power On/Off Key.
Before getting into sleeping mode, t e Number of Sheets Display will display “-Pd” for a
brief time to remind t e user now t e mac ine is about to enter sleeping mode.
5 Battery Status Message
W en t e mac ine is c arging t e battery, t e Number of Sheets Display will display “-C ”
at an interval to indicate t e battery is being c arged. Usually it needs about 15 ours or
more to make t e battery be fully c arged.
If t e battery is low, t e Number of Sheets Display will display “-Lo” at an interval to
remind t e user t e battery needs to be c arged or t e user s ould s ut down t e mac ine.
