1.Important Safety Instructions
1.1 Carefully read this user manualbefore installing
1.2 The switching power supply shall be installed according to the
installation instructions
1.3 This Power Supply has weather proof features and can be used for Indoor/Outdoor Applications.
Please do not install it near a heat source.
1.4 Make sure that the power switch is set to the “OFF” position during installation
1.5 Servicing should be performed or supervised by qualified service personnel, do not open by consumer,
risk of electric shock.
2. Product Feature
This power supply can be used at 100V-240VAC / 60Hz. Its output voltage is AC24V and output power is
120W –288W using individual built-in PTC fuses. The power supply has the following protection functions:
over-current protection, output short circuit protection, over voltage protection, etc.
3. Installation: Please install the power supply as follows
3.1 Inspection: Remove the power supply from its package and check for any damage that may have
occurred during shipping. If any damage is discovered, repack the unit and return it to Genesis CCTV.
3.2 Before making any connections, please make sure power switch (I/O) is set to "OFF'
3.3 Install the box at a suitable location. This power supply can be hung on the wall.
Step 1: Stick the whole position drawing (see attached drawing 1) with a scale of 1:1 on the proper place
of the well, and drill four holes.
Step 2: Insert the M4 screws into the four holes.
Step 3: Place the power supply aiming at four screws and then hang the power supply on the wall.
3.4 Connect cameras using AC24V to power output pair, protected by individual PTC’s. (See drawing 2)
3.5 Insert the wire into the plug hole and then use a screw driver to tighten the screw (see drawing 2)
3.5 Connect the provided AC power cord (110VAC / 60Hz) to the power supply inlet
3.6 The red LED should light up when the power switch is set to the "ON" position
