The Digital Thermometer provides quick, highly accurate reading of human body
temperature, and display on the LCD. It is suitable for family healthcare. Please read the
instructions thoroughly. They are edited to acquaint you with features of your new
thermometer so that you can enjoy its functions and dependable performance. If the
thermometer is used by a child, the supervision of the adult is compulsory. This thermometer
is manufactured according to the system of EN12470-3:2000, ASTM and complies with the
requirements of IEC 60601-1: IEC60601-1-2:2001. And the manufacturer is
ISO13485:2003 certied.
INFORMATION OF PREDICTIVE OFFSET
Although the generally accepted normal temperature reading is 37˚C (98.6˚F), temperature
readings can vary from 36.1˚C (97.0˚F) to 37.2˚C (99.0˚F) and still may be considered normal.
Variations in temperature is lower in the morning than in the afternoon. Other variations
may be due to the location of the temperature reading.

Press ON/OFF button to activate. The unit
will beep and display. This LCD display test
will go on for about 2 seconds.
When L and ashing ˚C (˚F) displays, the
thermometer is ready for temperature
measuring.
If the room temperature is higher than
32.0˚C (90.0˚F), the room temperature will
be displayed instead of L˚C (L˚F).
The beep will sound when temperature
measuring is complete. And the degree
sign of ˚C (˚F) on the LCD will stop ashing.
During measurement: LCD will display
“Lo˚C” or “Lo˚F if the measured
temperature is 32.0˚C (90.˚F), or will display
”Hi˚C or “H˚F), if the measures temperature
is above 42.0˚C/107.6˚F will display ”Hi˚C”
or “Hi˚F)”.
The thermometer will automatically turn
o in about 10 minutes for energy-saving.
It is suggested to press the On/O button
to turn the thermometer o once the test
is nished.
Please dispose of exhausted battery and
thermometer according to the relevant
law.

Version 02 The procedure for testing in a water bath indicated that while the oral temperature
follows the guidelines previously described, an axillary (under the arm) temperature will be
0.5˚C/1.0˚F lower.
ORAL USE
Place the probe tip under the tongue as near as possible to the heat pocket.
Approximate measuring time: 30 seconds.
Suggestion: Keep mouth closed for at least 2 minutes before taking temperature for a more
accurate measurement.

Wipe the underarm with a dry towel and place the probe tip under the arm so the tip is
touching the skin with the thermometer perpenicular to the body. Postion the arm across
the chest so the probe tip is well covered by the arm.
Approximate measuring time: 1 minute.
Note: Axillary temperaures are generally 0.5˚C/1.0˚F lower than oral readings.
Suggestion: Keep armpit closed for at least 5 minutes before taking temperature for a more
accurate measurement.

Before and after each use, clean the thermometer with a soft cloth, isopropyl diluted with water,
or with soapy water. Do not soak for an extended period of time or sterilize by boiling method,
gas or steam autoclaves.
Clean and disinfect thoroughly between use on dierent people and areas.
We will make available on request circuit diagrams, component part lists, descriptions,
calibration instructions, or other information that will asssist service personnel to repair those
parts of thermometer that are designated by us repairable by service personnel.
If you need some assistance, you should contact us or our representative for help.
The product life is 5 years, and during the 5 years, there is no need to recalibrate or specially
maintain. After that, the measurement may be inaccuarate.
When the “ ” appears in the lower right comer of the LCD, the battery is exhausted and needs
replacement.
Pull the battery cover o with hand in the direction shown below.
Gently pull out the circuit board with battery chamber approximately 1cm.
Turn the battery clamp clockwise until the battery is completely revealed.
Use pointed object such as a pen to take out the exhausted battery. Discard exhausted battery
out of reach of children.Place a new 1.5V DC button size battery type LR41 or equivalent in the
chamber with positive side facing up and negative side facing down.
Turn the battery clamp counterclockwise to the orginal postion and cover battery.
