1. WARNING! DO NOT place the steam iron on inammable or non-heat-
resistant objects directly, as long as the soleplate is still heated. Always use the
pivoting to let the steam iron stand straight-up on a at surface to avoid the
heated metal soleplate causing a re.
2. Tap water suits the design of the steam iron. However if the water in
your residential area is relatively hard, it may lead to clogging up of scales and
minerals affecting the steaming effect. Hence it is recommended to use ltered
water, pure water or distilled water to prolong the life of the appliance.
3. WARNING! When in use, DO NOT point the nozzle at human bodies, children
or animals to avoid scald burns.
4. When ironing, place the garment on an ironing board or top surface of a
home furniture. Pull to straighten the part of the garment to be ironed, then
iron its surrounding area slowly. When ironing over the stubborn wrinkles, press
slightly and let the steam iron stay on it a little longer, the wrinkles will be gone in
no time.
5. When steaming, hang the garment on a clean hanger. Pull the bottom of the
garment slightly to straighten it, hold the steam iron with your other hand, slowly
steam the garment upwards from the bottom. Steam will penetrate and rise up
along the inner and outer garment, removing the wrinkles.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by children aged 8 or below, persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
7. Never use sharp or rough objects, abrasive or corrosive liquids (eg. alcohol,
gasoline or acetone) to clean the steam iron. Wait for the steam iron to
cool down completely before cleaning, use a damp cloth with non-corrosive
cleaning liquid to clean the steam iron. Remove any deposits on the nozzle
to avoid blockage.
8. If power cord or supply cord is damaged, contact our Customer Service & Repair
Centre for a replacement in order to avoid any hazard.
9. WARNING! Wait for the iron to cool down completely before packing and
storing after use.
10. WARNING! When the appliance is connected to a mains supply outlet or is
cooling down, please ensure that the appliance and its power cord are out of
reach of children aged below 8.
11. WARNING! The appliance can only be checked and repaired by our
Customer Service & Repair Centre. DO NOT repair by yourself as this would
invalidate the warranty.
12. It is recommended to store the steam iron and its accessories together at
a dry place that is out of reach of children.
13. WARNING! Check if the mains voltage stated on the rating plate corresponds
to the local electricity supply before connecting to the mains supply outlet.
14. DO NOT add perfume, cleaner, descaling agent, starch, ironing agent or other
chemical liquids into the water tank as they are not suitable for the appliance. DO
NOT add unpuried water as well to avoid blockage of ducts and steam nozzle
leading to malfunction.
15. WARNING! DO NOT touch the metal soleplate or the steam ejected during
use due to extremely high temperature to avoid scald burns.
16. WARNING! The appliance can only be plugged to an earthed socket.
17. WARNING! DO NOT allow children to play with the appliance.
18. WARNING! Pay special attention not to touch the heated metal soleplate.
DO NOT let the heated metal soleplate get in touch with other objects directly to
avoid scald burns.
19. DO NOT operate the appliance when the water tank is empty.

21. Check regularly if the power cord is damaged.
