LIMITED WARRANTY
Products manufactured by Getz Equipment Innovators (with exception of electrical products or
components) will be free from defects for a period of one year from shipment date. Electrical products and/or
components used in manufactured products will have a (6) month warranty from shipment date. During the
warranty period, customers who experience any manufacture-related service issues with our products, the
product may be returned for repair or replacement. Customer must contact Getz Equipment for approval prior
to any product return. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the limited warranty set forth shall be immediately void of
customer uses any replacement parts other than those provided by Getz Equipment Innovators. The warranty
does not cover normal wear and tear items, defects resulting from modification, alteration, misuse, exposure to
corrosive conditions, extremely high temperatures, improper installation or maintenance. Warranties on
component items not manufactured by Getz Equipment Innovators are provided by others whose warranty,
evaluation and judgment will be final.
All implied warranties, including, but not limited to, warranties of fitness for purpose and
merchantability, are limited to the time periods as stated above. In no event shall Getz Equipment Innovators
be liable to incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts or the exclusions or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so that the above
limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. Getz Equipment Innovators neither assumes nor authorizes
any representative or other person to assume for it any obligation or liability other than as expressly set forth
herein.
Mobile Service Vehicles:
The warranty does not cover:
•Defects in the chassis and or power unit
•Defects in separately manufactured products not produced by Getz Equipment Innovators
•Deterioration due to normal wear, tear, and exposure
•Repairs made necessary by negligent use, misuse, abuse, loading the service vehicle beyond its gross
vehicle weight limitations, accident, acts of God, or other contingencies beyond the control of Getz
Equipment Innovators.
•Repairs deemed necessary by reason of the failure to follow ordinary maintenance procedures.
•Repairs deemed necessary by reason of alterations done without Getz Equipment Innovators’ written
approval.
Warranty Service:
•All warranty repairs will be performed by Getz Equipment Innovators in Pekin, IL, unless otherwise
authorized by Getz Equipment Innovators.
Freight:
•Getz Equipment Innovators will not be liable for shipping or transportation charges to or from customer's
location.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. To obtain performance to the obligation

Mechanical Bench Vise (3G0038)
Mounting Instructions (refer to drawing on page 3)
Tools needed:
1. Drill and 5/16” drill bit
2. Hammer and pin punch
3. Flat head screwdriver
4. 7/16” wrench
Instructions:
1. Remove angle jaw (item #2) from base plate (item #1) of vise and turn hand wheel (item #11) clockwise
until hand wheel stops.
2. Place the edge of the base plate (item #1) of the mechanical vise on a workbench so it is flush with the
front edge of bench or tabletop. Insert a pencil point into four mounting holes and mark the location of
these holes on the workbench. Remove mechanical vise from the workbench.
3. Place pin punch in the center of one of the pencil marks and mark a starting point for the drill by tapping
the top of the pin punch with the hammer. Secure the 5/16” drill bit into the drill, position it on the pin
punch mark, and drill hole through bench. Repeat until all four holes are drilled.
4. Reposition vise on the four drilled holes and insert the four 1/4" x 2 1/4" slotted machine screws into the
mounting holes in the base plate (item #1) of the vise. Place a 1/4" flat washer, lock washer and hex
headed nut on each machine screw. Tighten four slotted machine screws securely with flat screwdriver
and 7/16” wrench.
5. Place angle jaw (item #2) back onto base plate (item #1) with V side of jaw facing the hand wheel (item
#11).
Operating Instructions:
De-valving or securing cylinders:
1. Turn hand wheel (item #11) counter-clockwise until it stops.
2. Place V-side of angle jaw (item #2) toward hand wheel.
3. Insert two pins on bottom of angle jaw into a set of holes in base plate (item #1). Make sure distance
between angle jaw and slide jaw (item #4) allows space for cylinder to slide between both.
4. Turn hand wheel clockwise until cylinder is tightly secured between two jaws. Repeat for smaller/larger
cylinders –Caution DO NOT Over tighten.
Clamping or holding flat objects:
1. Turn hand wheel (item #11) counter-clockwise until it stops.
2. Place flat side of angle jaw (item #2) toward hand wheel.
3. Insert two pins on bottom of angle jaw into a set of holes in base plate (item #1). Make sure distance
between angle jaw and slide jaw (item #4) allows space for object to slide between both.
4. Turn hand wheel clockwise until object is tightly secured between two jaws. Repeat for smaller/larger
objects –Caution DO NOT Over tighten.
