1. Important Safeguards 1. Important Safeguards
When using electrical machines, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put in water
or other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any machine is used by
or near children.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking
off parts, and before cleaning.
5. Avoid contacting moving parts. Do not attempt to defeat any
safety interlock mechanisms.
6. Do not operate any machine with a damaged cord or plug or
after the machine malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in
any manner. Return machine to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical
adjustment.
7. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manu-
facturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
10. Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove.
11. This machine is not intended for use by children or by persons
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge. Close supervision is necessary when
any machine is used near children. Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the machine.
12. Turn the machine OFF, then unplug from the outlet when not in
use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning.
To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from
the power cord.
13. Check hopper for presence of foreign objects before using.
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) may
be provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable power- supply cords
or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised
in their use. If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord
is used:
a. The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord
or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the machine;
b. If the machine is of the grounded type, the extension cord should
be a grounding type 3-wire cord;
c. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over
the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by children
or tripped over unintentionally.
Do not pull, twist or otherwise abuse the power cord.
North American models with a grounded plug:
POWER CORD INSTRUCTIONS:
This machine has a polarized plug(one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature to reduce
the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature
or modify the plug in any way. If the plug fits loosely into the AC outlet or if the
AC outlet feels warm, do not use that outlet.

coffee. There are many types of beans on the market. To ensure best grinding
results, high quality beans are recommended.

2-All of the flavor comes from the beans, choose different kinds of roasts and
beans according to the type of coffee you make.
3-Buy in small batches to reduce the storage time due to use freshly roasted
coffee beans with a ‘roasted on’ date to maximize flavor, not a use-by or
best before date.
4-Store coffee beans in a dark, cool and dry place. Vacuum seal if possible.
Do not store beans in the bean hopper. Place them back in an airtight con-
tainer.
If you buy large portions of beans, separate them into one or two week portions
and store them in airtight containers. Preserve freshness by minimizing exp-
osure to air, light, and moisture.
1-As our machine is equipped with a voltage of 100-120V and UL plug, to
prevent burning out, do not connect the grinder with any improper power
supply. If the machine is not connected to a voltage of 100-120V, you make
sure an adapter is being used.Rated power of the adapter should be higher
than 300W, otherwise it will not function normally or even could be burnt out.
NOTE
2-Do not touch LED screen with oily hands or using too much force, oth-
erwise it will not work.

1-Optimal grind size depends on many factors including brewing method, roast
darkness, bean type and freshness, and more. Experiment with different grind
settings to achieve the brew that best suits your taste.
3-If your coffee tastes too bitter, try a coarser grind size. If your brew is weak,
adjust to a finer grind size. (1=finest, 35=coarsest).

Element 2: Grinding Size
1-If the grind is too fine, overextraction and bitterness will result. Too fine
a grind may also clog the filter and cause water to overflow.
NOTE
1-This grinder can only grind dry beans. It will not grind anything moist, ext-
remely hard, or gummy such as whole ginger, chocolate, sesame seeds or oily
spices such as cinnamon, cloves or nutmeg. Do not grind peanuts or grains
such as wheat, rice, barley, or dried corn. Attempting to grind any of these
foods may damage the unit. Never use it to chop ice cubes.
6-When storing the machine, run grinder empty to clear ground beans left in
chamber, as some older coffee dust may be sitting inside your Grinder and will
affect the quality of your next batch.
Element 3: Operation Tips
5. The Quest For Perfect Powder 5. The Quest For Perfect Powder
2-You may need to vary the Grind Setting when using different coffee beans
and depending on bean freshness. The range of 35 Grind Settings allows for
precision adjustment, controlling the grind size and ultimately the character-
istics of the resulting extraction. You can refer to the following table:
2-It is recommended not to pour too many beans into the bean hopper at
once, and to grind beans as much as you need at the time of use for best
flavor. If you add too many beans, remove them from the bean hopper and
store them in a vacuum container.
3-To pause grinder during operation, press Start/Stop icon to stop.
4-After every time switch grind setting size, firstly place the silicone lid of
powder chamber under the grinder powder outlet, and then grind a small
amount of beans and discard, this can avoid powder from your last grind
affecting your coffee.
If you feel hard to adjust grind size by rotating the bean hopper from coarse
to fine, rotate the Grind Size Selector while the machine is grinding. If this
still does not work, refer to "8.2 Weekly Using " of "8.Care & Cleaning ", page 24.
5-To save your time and meet your personal taste, we suggest that you firstly
test to confirm your desired grind size and bean amount, and then grind the
beans by time mode. Make a note of how much time it takes so that next
time you can easily get your desired powder by inputting the recorded time
based on same type of beans and grind size. If changing grind size and beans,
please follow the above method to get the new time.
7-Do not operate the grinder for more than 3 minutes at a time, Otherwise the
grinder will stop automatically to protect its motor and maintain its lifespan.
The grinder will not start regardless of any operation until it cools down for 30
minutes.
2-If grind is too coarse, the water will pass through too quickly and the
maximum flavor will not be extracted.

8.1 Each Using
If the grinder is used frequently like everyday, dark, oily beans will leave some
oil residue in the feeder channel. Over time this can slow down the flow of
ground coffee, regular cleaning helps the burrs achieve consistent grinding
results, which is especially important when grinding for coffee.
8.2 Weekly Using
