Svensk bruksanvisning GL-4M WM
Beskrivning
GL-4M WM är en programmerbar IR-mottagare med 4 reläutgångar med växlande
reläkontakter. Mottagaren är modifierad för att användas till fönsteröppnare Window Master.
Mottagaren kan programmeras med alla GewaLink-kanaler och kodad kanal (4096).
Mottagarens relä kan programmeras för att kunna arbeta bistabilt eller monostabilt. IR-
mottagaren har en inbyggd IR-detektor som kan kopplas bort.
Anslutning
Alla anslutningsplintar är jackbara vilket innebär att de kan tas bort innan ledningar ansluts.
Streckade linjer är byglingar som är gjorda från fabrik på baksida av kretskortet. För övrigt
ansluts ledningar enligt skiss.
Yttre detektor
Detektorn är själva ögat som tar emot IR-signalen. Maximalt två yttre detektorer kan vara
anslutna samtidigt. På mottagarens kretskort sitter en inbyggd detektor som kan kopplas ifrån
genom att ledningsbanor på kretskortet skrapas bort, se figur var detta görs.
Vid anslutning av detektor skall ledarnas färger anslutas enligt märkningen i figuren. Var
noggrann vid inkoppling så att ledarna kommer rätt.
OBS! Räckvidden minskar om detektorögat täcks eller på annat sätt skyms, t ex av gardiner
eller möbler.
Strömförsörjning
IR-mottagare och fönsteröppnare matas med 18V DC. Anslut medföljande nätaggregat.
Observera polariteten!

Programmering
För att IR-mottagaren skall kunna fungera måste den programmeras med samma kanaler som
IR-sändaren sänder. IR-mottagaren kan programmeras med GewaLink-kanalerna 0-127 (kanal
62 har ingen funktion) eller kodad kanal (4096). Det finns en programmeringsknapp för
respektive relä. Vid programmeringen bestäms också om respektive relä skall arbeta med en
monostabil eller bistabil funktion.
Monostabil funktion = Reläet aktiveras så länge knappen på IR-sändaren hålls nedtryckt.
Bistabil funktion = Reläet aktiveras när knappen på IR-sändaren trycks ner och släpps, andra
gången som knappen på IR-sändaren trycks ner och släpps, återgår reläet till viloläget.
Varning! Gewa AB avråder att bistabil funktion används för styrning av fönsteröppnare
pågrund av klämningsrisken.
Gör enligt följande för att programmera:
Tryck på den tangent på IR-sändaren vars kanal önskas programmeras in och tryck samtidigt
in någon av programmeringsknapparna på IR-mottagaren. Hålls programmeringsknappen
intryckt under ca 1 sek fås en monostabil funktion, hålls den intryckt under ca 2 sek fås en
bistabil funktion.
Mottagaren bekräftar inprogrammeringen genom att relä och indikeringslampa drar resp.
blinkar. Är man inte nöjd med vald kanal eller funktion gör man bara om proceduren.
Varning! Vid programmering aktiveras det aktuella reläet. Detta kan innebära att någonting
kan startas igång ofrivilligt.
Fastsättning av lock
På modell GL-4M finns det möjlighet att skruva fast locket med medföljande skruvar.
Rengöring
Mottagarens ytterhölje rengörs med en hårt urvriden trasa som doppats i vatten med lite
diskmedel i.

English Instructions for Use GL-4M WM
Description
GL-4M is a programmable IR receiver with four relay outputs with alternating relay contacts.
The receiver has been modified to be used for the window opener Window Master. The
receiver can be programmed with all GewaLink channels and one coded channel (4096). The
receiver's relay can be programmed to function in a bistable or a monostable manner. The IR
receiver has an internal IR detector that can be disconnected.
Connections
All connections are attach by jacks, so that the connectors can be removed before connecting
wires.
The broken lines are links made in production underneath the circuit board.
The figure shows how wires are to be connected.
External Detector
The detector is the actual eye that receives the IR signal. A maximum of two external
detectors can be connected at the same time. There is an internal detector on the circuit board
of the receiver. This detector can be disconnected by cutting off the lines on the circuit board.
This is shown in the figure.
The colours of the wires are to be connected as shown in the figure when connecting a
detector. Make sure that the wires are correctly connected when connecting a detector.
Note: the range will be reduced if the detector eye is covered or hidden in some way, for
example by curtains or by furniture.
Relay Connection
The receiver has four relays with alternating relay contacts. The maximum relay loading is
specified in the Technical Specifications.
Power Supply
The IR receiver and the window opener are supplied by 18V DC. Connect enclosed power
supply. Note the polarity!

Programming
The IR receiver can be programmed with GewaLink channels 0-127 (channel 62 has no
function) or one coded channel (4096). There is one programming button for each relay. The
selection is also made during programming whether a particular relay is to function in a
monostable or a bistable manner.
Monostable functioning = The relay is activated as long as the key on the IR transmitter is
held down.
Bistable functioning = The relay is activated when the key on the IR transmitter is held down
and releases. The second time the key is held down and released, the relay will be deactivated.
Warning! Gewa AB advise against using bistable control of the window opener as there is a
risk of entrapment of fingers, limbs etc.
Program the receiver as follows:
Press the selected button on the IR transmitter and press at the same time one of the
programming buttons on the IR receiver. If the programming button is held down for
approximately 1 second, the unit is programmed with a monostable function. If it is held
down for approximately 2 seconds, the unit is programmed with a bistable function.
The receiver confirms the programming by activating the relay and causing the indicator lamp
to flash. Simply repeat the procedure if the selected channel or function is not satisfactory.
Warning! The relevant relay is activated during the programming. This may case an
inadvertent activation of some equipment.
Attaching the Lid
It is possible to fix the lid of the GL-4M model, with the included screws.
Cleaning
Dip a rag into water with a little washing-up liquid in it and wring it out well. This can then
be used to clean the outer casing of the receiver.
