Ghost Controls AXUR User manual

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR AXUR KIT:
SPECIFICATIONS:
NOTE: The receiver is designed to allow the use of Ghost Controls®Wireless accessories, such as our transmitters and keypad to
work with other opener and operator systems that accept dry contact inputs to control the system (ex. doorbell button).
THE RECEIVER HAS TWO SOLID STATE RELAY OUTPUTS:
■CYCLE (blue and green wires): This is a momentary/pulsed output. The relay is turned on momentarily for about half second
then turns off upon receiving a valid “cycle” command from a Ghost Controls®wireless device. It is to be connected to the input of
the opener system that can open, close and stop the gate or access control system.
■FREE-EXIT/OPEN (white and green wires): This is a latching, toggle ON/OFF output. The relay is toggle ON/OFF upon
receiving a valid “open” command, such as “PartyMode®, from a Ghost Controls®wireless device. It is to be connected to the input
of the opener system that when activated will keep it OPEN.
POWER INPUT: 9-24 VDC or VAC, 15 mA
OUTPUTS: Solid state relay’s Max. 24VAC/DC @ 100mA max load
EXTENDABLE ANTENNA USING STANDARD COAX CABLE WITH COAX CABLE COUPLER
WEATHER RESISTANT FOR OUTDOOR INSTALLATION
DETERMINING YOUR SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
NOTE: Refer to your system instruction manual for details.
■Locate and make sure that it has 9-24VAC or VDC power supply available. Typical
system will have either 12 or 24V available. The RED WIRE of the receiver will be
connected to the positive terminal of the power supply and the BLACK WIRE of
the receiver will be connected to the negative terminal of the power supply.
■Locate the input that controls its movement (open, close, and stop). Typically, a
momentary activation with a jumper wire would “CYCLE” the opener/operator
to each movement (open, stop, close, stop, open...). Usually, it is labeled
“CYCLE”, “Pushbutton” or something similar. The BLUE WIRE from the receiver
will be connected to this input and the GREEN WIRE is connected to the COM
or COMMON terminals.
■Locate the input that when activated (shorted to COMMON) will keep the gate
or access control system open. When the terminal is shorted to COMMON
the gate or access control system cannot be closed. Usually, it is labeled “open”,
“free-exit”, “fire-department” or something similar. The WHITE WIRE from the
receiver will be connected to this input and the GREEN WIRE is connected to
COM or COMMON. NOTE: Using this input is optional, this input allows the use
of Ghost Controls®PartyMode®and open-only wireless devices.
