SERIES 23800 TURBO LASER REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
Before repairing the turbo laser, please note that item number (11) is not interchangable with different
size nozzles. Part #6640-XX corresponds to a specific nozzle size (see note on front page).
1) Securedischargecasing(1)andremovedriveplug(11)witha24mmwrench. Checko-ring(9)
fordamageandreplaceifnecessary.
2) Removerotorassembly(5-8). Makesurestrainer(8),rotor(5),and"jet-hole"indriveplug
(11)arefreeofobstructions. Ifnecessary,replacewithnewassemblyfromkit.
3) Usinga5/16"woodendowelrod,pressoutseatretainer(4),ceramicseat(3),ando-rings(2&
10).Ifcrackedorworn,replacewithitemsfoundinkit.
4) Toreassemble,pressseatretainer(4),ceramicseat(3),ando-rings(2&10)intothetopofthe
dischargecasing(1). Makesureitisfirmlyseatedatthetop.Replacerotorassembly(5-8)and
driveplug(11)witho-ring(9). Tightensecurely.
5) Gentlyshakethenozzletoensuremovementofrotorassembly(5-8).
