CAUTIONS
1. Do not operate this unit prior to fully consult this manual.
2. Do not allow any liquids, dusts and/or operating under humid environment. Doing so may damage
the internal circuitry.
3. Do not cover the ventilation point and/or openings. It may cause the overheating to the unit.
4. For all safety reasons, the driver should not watch any video sources and/or operate the controls
while driving. This action is prohibited by law in some countries, also keep the volume to a level at
which external sounds can be heard while driving.
5. Do not place hand, fingers and/or any other objects into this unit. Doing so may cause accident
damages to yourself and/or the unit.
6. Do not place and/or insert any objects to DVD player, SD card reader and/or USB port. This may
cause permanent damages to those mentioned facilities.
7. Do not insert other than the standard 12cm CD, VCD and/or DVD to the player and remember
always eject the disk before turn off the unit.
8. Do not disassemble and/or modify this unit. It may cause an accident, fire or electric shock.
Please contact your local authorized service agent for inspection and/or repair if you felt the unit is
malfunctioning.

9. Do not continue to operate this unit if you suspect the system is functioning abnormal and/or a
trouble exists under any circumstances. Please power off the unit immediately and consult your
local authorized service agent.
10. Do not use the unit when a problem raise, such as any material has been entered in the unit, the
unit gets wet, or smoke or strange smells come out of the unit. Please consult your local authorized
service agent for professional advice.
11. Do not supplies other than the standard vehicle 12VDC power input source. This product is
specially designed to operate only with a negative grounded 12VDC battery system.
12. Do not attempt to replace any fuses. This can only be done by an authorized service agent. Incorrect
action may result in causing internal smoke and/or fire to the unit with permanent damages.
13. Do not change the back seat monitor/display’s resolution (default setting is 800 x 600) at anytime.
Changes to other than default settings may result in improper operation for Graphic User Interface
(GUI).

out this manual and place where it can be easily access to it.

3. Please prevent any person to operate this unit who has not fully consulted this manual before or have

keep your PC system protected from any other potential threats.
5. Please make sure the rear seat display shall installed at a place or location where the driver is not able
to see or getting distraction with.
6. Please to comply the local laws and regulations for installing and/or operating an audio/video combo
head unit within vehicle.

Limited Warranty
This product is warranted against manufacturing defects for the period of 1 year. During one-year warranty
period, defective parts will be repaired or replaced. There will be no charge for labor or parts.
This warranty does not cover any failure resulting in loss to software, data, lost profits, lost savings, any
incidental damages or other economic consequential damages due to accident, abuse, misuse, negligence
and acts of God.

Chapter 1: Introduction
1.1 Introduction
VPC6000 series Vehicle PC is the best 2-DIN Car PC solution in the market. The all-new design improved 2-DIN
features to be more friendly and easy-to-use. It’s embedded car radio and built-in 5.1 channels amplifier with
high-end sound stage simulation. The front panel of the 2-DIN Car PC embeds a digital 6.95” LCD touch
screen that provides 800 x 480 high resolution displays that releases driver’s weariness.
Combined with multimedia entertainment system, it allows you using computing features in car such as GPS
navigation, WiFi/Bluetooth communication, Movie/ Music/ Photo playing, EQ control and smart power
control…etc., by simply few touch clicks.
All combination in the unit fulfills car specification and it’s especially designed to meet harsh environment
such as sustaining extreme shock, vibration and high temperature operation. VPC6600 brings you a vehicle
infotainment computing runway whole the driving.
The manual introduces hardware features and its operation instructions. Please read carefully and the
manual will guide you with more hardware description and installation.

In the central area, there’s a digital 6.95” LCD monitor with touch screen, providing high
resolution VGA display. On the right hand side, there is a Power Button to turn On/Off the Car PC.
Below the Eject / Mute Button, there is an LED indicator for HDD. It blinks when you are
accessing DVD/CD/USB or HDD.

The rear panel of VPC6600 comes with external I/O connectors for connecting to various external
devices, such as LCD monitor or USB drives. Those connectors work with a cable kit which is provided
for evaluation only. For the best performance and reliable connection, please do use the MultiLock
connector for both ends. The following sections list each of the external I/O connectors with detailed
function.

1.5.1 Connector A
The VPC6600 currently uses VGA firmware to fix the resolution of 2nd display at 800 x 600 for perfect
display. We strongly recommend users not to adjust the resolution from windows platform. We
cannot guarantee if user adjust resolution out of 800 x 600. (The CAN Control is only for special
requested option with condition applies)
1.5.2 Connector B
The VPC6600 series provides 1 USB port on front panel and maximum up to 4 more USB ports for
connecting external USB devices with Multi-Lock connector from the rear panel. These USB ports are
USB 2.0 compliant. They can also be disabled from the system BIOS setup.

1.5.3 Connector C
1.5.3.1 External Microphone Connection
When user needs to use microphone, please find mic-in connector from the rear panel. It can be
extended to the front panel or to the rear seat of a car, so that the driver or passengers may use
it to record or speak with hands-free phone feature.
1.5.3.2 Rear Vision Camera
The CCD Back allows user to connect rear-view CCD camera, follow the CCD connecting label to
connect the CCD cable, so that you can enable the CCD camera with an RCA input.
1.5.3.3 AUX1 _ Video _ In & AUX1 _ Audio _ In (Left & Right)
When the driver and passengers want to listen to music not only from local HDD or attached
DVD, it offers you another choice of connecting your external devices from AUX inputs. With this
function, the VPC6600 can play audio/Video from connected analog devices.
1.5.3.4 Line _ Out _ Center, Subwoofer, RL, RR, FL & FR
VPC6600 provides 5.1 Channel audio outputs with this connection. User can follow the diagram
to connect related cables

1.5.4 Connector D
1.5.4.1 +12V Main Power, Ground & +12V Accessory
The cables should be connected to vehicle power cable. Users may follow the instructions to
complete the connection. The power input connectors carries out the power input of 9~16 VDC,
with yellow wires to Battery Positive and black wires to Battery Negative. The Red wire is
supposed to be connected to ACC ignition, and the black ground wire needs to be connected to
car body.
1.5.4.2 Amplifier Turn On Cord (12V/0.5A)
This wire acts as remote control for sending signals to any other related devices to notify power
on status from the head unit.
1.5.4.3 Illumination, Auto Antenna & Reverse Gear Cord
Those wires are acting a control signal to head light illumination, power antenna control, and
rear parking gear notification.
1.5.4.4 Parking Brake Cord
According to regulation of international laws, a driver may not use electrical product while
driving. The operation can only be used when the parking hand brake is pulled up. Therefore the
wire has to be connected to the parking hand brake of a car.
1.5.4.5 Rear R, Rear L, Front R & Front L
A standard 4 channel stereo output which is for a non 5.1 channel car stereo connection.
