1. Installation of the first TRICK TENSION ANCHOR
1.1 WrapTREE WEAR XL around tree or pole and fasten with velcro patch (A)
1.2 Wrap round sling around tree and use the velcro straps (B) to secure.
1.3 Connect round sling and ratchet (upside down) with shackle (C). Make sure the pin is fully
screwed back in and the shackle screw is facing the ratchet strap. Avoid closing the screw with
too much force, or else the shackle will become difficult to open aer use.
Leave the installation hanging and approach other side!
2. Installation of second TRICK TENSION ANCHOR
2.1 Wrap theTREE WEAR XL around tree or pole and fasten with velcro patch (A)
2.2 Wrap round sling around tree and use the velcro straps (B) to secure.
2.3 Connect round sling and ratchet (upside down) with shackle (C). Make sure the pin is fully
screwed back in and the shackle screw is facing the ratchet strap. Avoid closing the screw with
too much force, or else the shackle will become difficult to open aer use.
3. Installation of slackline webbing (ANDY LEWIS TRICKLINE, SLAMINA or EPIC PRO) on
first TRICK TENSION ANCHOR
3.1 Start with either side and pull the ratchet extension release lever (D) and unfold ratchet
extension lever (E) 180° until it locks in place in a flat position.
3.2 Release ratchet lever (G) by pulling on the safety handle (F) to unfold ratchet to 90°.
3.3Thread the chosen webbing (H) through drum slot (I) of the ratchet, min. 1 foot / 30cm
3.4 Hold webbing and excess webbing together tightly under tension and start applying the
ratchet lever handle (G) to coil up the drum more than one full rotation so that the slackline is
fixed. The webbing is then anchored.

4. Apply initial tension using the second TRICK TENSION ANCHOR
4.1 Go to the secondTrickTension Anchor on the other side and pull the ratchet extention
release lever (D) and unfold ratchet lever extension (E) 180° until it locks in place.
4.2 Release ratchet lever (G) by pulling on the safety handle (F)
4.3Thread webbing (H) through drum slot (I) of ratchet
4.4 Create as much pretension as possible by pulling hard on the excess webbing. Hold
this tension and apply the ratchet lever handle (G) until the ratchet drum is coiled up to a
maximum of two and a half rotations.
4.5 Release the safety lever (F) and close the ratchet lever (G)
4.6 Close the ratchet lever extension (E) by pulling on the ratchet lever extension release
handle (D) and fold the extension 180° until it locks into position.
5. Finalizing the tension by using the firstTRICK TENSION ANCHOR:
5.1 Apply the ratchet lever (G) with a maximum of two and a half rotations on the coil.Tip:
Thread the excess webbing as illustrated to have both hands for tensioning and to ensure
avoiding the webbing from jamming or coiling not straight.
5.2 Release the safety lever (F) and close the ratchet lever (G)
5.3 Close the ratchet lever extension (E) by pulling on the ratchet lever extension release
handle (D) and fold the extension 180° until it locks into position.
6. Double securing the system
6.1 Wrap safety rope (K) around tree and the ratchet handle of firstTRICK TENSION ANCHOR.
Make sure to keep the safety rope loose. Knot the rope together securely.
6.2 Proceed the same way on the other tree and secondTRICKTENSION ANCHOR.
7. You are now ready to rage on the slackline!
8. Disassembly
8.1 Aer undoing the knots on the safety ropes, unfold the ratchet extension lever (E) to 180°
by pulling the ratchet extention release lever (D). Release then the ratchet lever handle (G) by
pulling on the safety handle (F)
8.2 Fully open the ratchet lever handle (G) to 180° but gently apply force on the lever until the
system snaps open at °180.
WARNING: depending on the tension you have applied there is a lot of force in the system!
Make sure to keep your distance, watch your fingers and keep bystanders far away from the
line while detensioning.
