3.Holdcomponentsbythe edgesand trynottouchthe ICchips,leadsorconnectors,or
othercomponents.
4.Placecomponentsonagroundedantistaticpad oronthebag thatcamewiththe
componentswheneverthe componentsareseparatedfromthe system.
5.EnsurethattheATXpowersupplyisswitched offbeforeyou plug inorremovetheATX
powerconnectoronthemotherboard.
Ifthemotherboardhasmountingholes,buttheydon’tlineupwiththeholesonthebaseandthereare
noslotstoattachthe spacers,do notbecomealarmedyoucan still attachthespacerstothe mounting
holes.Justcutthe bottomportion ofthe spacers(the spacermaybe alittlehardtocutoff, sobecareful
ofyourhands).Inthiswayyou can stillattachthe motherboardtothe basewithoutworryingaboutshort
circuits.Sometimesyou mayneedtousetheplasticspringstoisolatethe screwfromthemotherboard
PCBsurface,becausethe circuitwiremaybe nearbythe hole.Becareful,don’tletthe screwcontact
anyprinted circuitwriteorpartsonthe PCBthatarenearthe fixing hole,otherwiseitmaydamagethe
boardorcauseboardmalfunctioning.

baseontothe CPUsocketon the
motherboard.
Beforeinstalling theCPUcooling fan,adheretothefollowing warning:
1.Please use Intelapprovedcooling fan.
2.Werecommend you toapplythethermaltapetoprovidebetterheat
conduction betweenyourCPUand cooling fan.
(TheCPUcooling fanmightstick totheCPUduetothehardening of
thethermalpaste.During thiscondition ifyou trytoremove thecool-
ing fan,you mightpull theprocessoroutoftheCPUsocketalonewith
thecooling fan,and mightdamagetheprocessor.To avoidthisfrom

The motherboardhas2dualinline memorymodule(DIMM)sockets.The BIOSwill automatically
detectsmemorytype and size.Toinstall the memorymodule,justpushitverticallyintothe DIMM
socket. The DIMM modulecan onlyfitinone direction due tothe notch.Memorysizecan vary
betweensockets.

memorymodulecan onlyfitinone direction.
2. Insertthe DIM M memorymoduleverticallyinto
the DIMM slot. Then pushitdown.
3.Closethe plasticclipatbothedgesofthe DIMM
slotstolock the DIMM module.
Reversethe installation stepswhen you wish
toremovethe DIMM module.

1.Read the related expansion card'sinstructiondocumentbeforeinstall the expansioncardintothe
computer.
2.Removeyourcomputer'schassiscover,screwsand slotbracketfromthecomputer.
3.Press the expansion cardfirmlyintoexpansion slotinmotherboard.
4.Besurethe metalcontactsonthe cardareindeedseated inthe slot.
5.Replacethescrewtosecurethe slotbracketoftheexpansion card.
6.Replaceyourcomputer'schassiscover.
7.Poweron the computer,ifnecessary,setup BIOSutilityofexpansion cardfromBIOS.
8. Install related driverfromtheoperating system.
